2010 OperationsGraphic under work!
One story houses and white picket fences litter this suburb. Lawns are well cared for and gardens are tended to at all times. One of your neighbors always seems to be throwing a barbecue. This was before the zombie attack, Mornington was abandoned for a long time. After all, it is very difficult to protect ranch-style houses from attacks. Perhaps one day, the town will be filled with laughter and happiness, but for right now, everyday is a struggle, but at least we have a home and friends. It's far worse being alone in this mess, the moaning all night long is enough to make you lose your mind.
A fun competitive OP among the members of Team Anaconda. The participants were divided into Team Pirates and Team Ninjas with the aim of completing tasks and performing actions to collect the most number of points. The teams had to solve and follow clues about the history of Malton and move to specific locations completing the designated challenges.
After getting tired of promissing OPs that in the end show to be too easy for the Team, Anaconda decides to venture deep into the suburb of Ridleybank to take on the RRF head! Beginning in the most North Western corner of Stanbury Village, the team struck into the heart of RRF territory in a guerrilla style attack. It seemed that the RRF was asleep though as the assault went largely unanswered. Ridleybank was slowly restored with many buildings repaired and barricaded. This operation resulted in several obtained Assassinations and two Silent Sentinel attempts. The first was successfull but Beatlepuss got ill-starred and found a horde of 22 knocking at his door. Many members died to protect him but the operation was a success with Ridleybank being brightened up from its usually dark state.
The Team started February operating around the legendary Caiger Mall. With high zombie activity, many ruined buildings and a high number of PKers in the area following our shadows, the work was centered at the suburb of Darvell Heights preparing the region for an eventual strike at the Mall itself. The surrounding region was quickly restored with the Mall soon following due to the combined efforts of Alexander Brower and Lieutenant Jeremy Monroe. The first attempt did not last long but the powerful duo once again singlehandedly reclaimed the Mall. This final act solidified the human control of Caiuger Mall as the local population flooded back. This also offered the opportunity to reclaim both local NTs, all the hospitals and other important buildings at the area. The mission was a resounding success!
Anaconda embarks on a (attempted) record breaking chain kill! With 11 participants achieving a 32 kill chain lasting almost 32 hours. This chain kill had all the excitement one could expect with Tommy Crowbar surviving amongst a 40 strong zombie horde for 4 hours and Puppiemaster and Jeremy Monroe dying for their link in their chain, sacrificing their 2011 Vigilance Challenge in the process. Great teamwork mean the team was able to last just a few extra hours at the end when everyone was running low on AP in order to make the Chain Kill the 4th best in history.
A joint operation with Dark Watch in Whittenside with the aim of recovering Fort Perryn. After the successful operation Black Ops, the team was well versed in retaking forts. They were so good that by the time they'd gotten there the Fort was already retaken! (technically retaken by Dark Watch in an RTS, but retaken nonetheless). The rest of the op involved hitting the heavily targeted local NT and Hospital. The fort was held easily with the aid of allies so the Op was short lived, but nonetheless successful.
Much loved team member Miss Elainious is seriously sick and not able to login to her account while was stuck in Fort Creedy! In order to prevent her from losing the 2010 AND 2011 Vigilance Challenge, the team initiated a search and meatshield effort. After a couple of days, she had recovered without losing a single strand of hair. The mission was a complete success!
Anaconda ran a strategic OP in Pitneybank to assist CDF and locals in retaking the mall and Fort Creedy. Anaconda knew that Pitneybank was completely ruined with 50+ waiting in the RPs. We knew that in order to get the burb back on its feet we first needed to increase the number of survivors in the area. Anaconda ran 2 mass revive coordinated real time strikes over 24 hours, clearing the RPs in quick succession. This lead to the mall being recovered in short order. The Undeadites made an unexpected U-Turn and returned to sack the mall so Anaconda, the Fortress' own tactical machine,, countered by recovering the Fort Creedy. We knew that zeds are attracted to a Fort like moths to a flame! The strategy worked and the recovered Fort drew the zeds attention from the mall, allowing it to be recovered once again before Anaconda bid farewell and moved on to our next challenge.
For the 2010 Christmas and New Years party, the Fortress returns to F4 for a friendly game of Reindeers vs Elves. Team Anaconda worked with Cold Cell as Reindeers competing with Battlehawk and Dark Watch with some of ever-vigilant Combat Vets split between both side. The objective was repairing a designated half of a chosen suburb, earning points in the process. The competition took the teams to Shackleville, Tollyton and the dangerous Stanbury Village. Much frivolities were also had during the fun operation. In the end the Elves just snuck out in front by 80pts but Anaconda's influence was unquestionable as the combat team that scored the most points. We really did outparty and outplay the others.
The Mission: LIBERATE, REPAIR, BARRICADE, DRINK. It'd been a while since a good pissup and Commander Puppiemaster took it upon himself to right this wrong. Through 13 suburbs and 31 pubs, much unsoberity was had. Amongst the drunken debauchery, much newspaper slapping and late night snacking (on each other) were had with Miss Elainious declaring a "newspaper whupass" on the boys. The Op ended at F3 in Buttonville with a reunion with The Randoms before more drunkenness over Christmas.
Anaconda once again joins BC in retaking F1. The area, having been trampled over by Big Bash 3 was in bad shape with many buildings having high repair costs. With Anaconda's aid Pennville was quickly returned to survivor hands such that it was safe to sleep outside. Whittenside was a bigger struggle as the TRPs in the centre of the suburb became a fierce theatre of war between survivor and zombie. The battle was slowly pushed in favour of the survivors however and with pressures easing, a couple of attacks on the fort were mounted. Unfortunately they were unsuccessful. Although F1 was retaken only briefly, the two suburbs were well and truly in survivor hands after the operation.
With Anaconda running low on supplies and F4 still attracting lots of attention, the other combat teams join in on the operation as part of celebrations for Halloween 2010. The appearance of all four combat team saw immediate results. Within the 2 week operation, the wider Shackleville, Tollyton, Wray Heights and Kempsterbank area was returned to yellow/green status. The operation ended with the teams taking it right to the SFNAS at their base of St Ferreol's Hospital.
With Fortress 4 under heavy attack by the dispersing Big Bash 3 group and the RRF's return to central Malton, Anaconda, always strong protectors of our Fortress bases, charged to the aid of Fortress 4. Anaconda provided assistance to our defenders in F4, also known as The Heart turning the tide for a couple of weeks whilst a Fortress-wide operation was being prepared to provide a large scale restoration of central Malton.
Anaconda's tribute OP in recognition of our new Sergeant Igor Dolvitch. Anaconda went to work in Chancelwood, clearing, repairing and cading safe houses for the local population, and of course slaying zeds! The team worked with speed and efficiency and soon had the burb shipshape. We rocked the place in style with a tailgate party following a busy coordinated RT, firing up the BBQ and sharing a few cold ones at Rodges Stadium.
Anaconda answers a call for help from their allie, the Dribbling Beavers, at the suburb of Santtlerville. With a local NT being breached almost daily it was hard for the locals to put up a good fight. The enemy hearing the news turned and left, leaving very little for the Combat Team to do.
Anaconda once again puts on their competition masks as they face each other in a race to recover central Malton in the heart of RRF territory, including Barrville, Galbraith Hills and Stanbury Village.
The first Operation by Puppiemaster as Commander of Anaconda is set in Pegton with the aim to recover the suburb from its ghostly state. Less than a week later the suburb is green again and the Team moves to the neighbouring region of Dentonside with the help of their allies the ACC (Army Control Corps).
Lucy Daniels final blow before stepping down as Commander of Anaconda. The Condas meet at Mitchen Mall to slaughter the horde at the Conda Summer '10 Chain Kill.
Once again, Lucy lends her team a series of race cars which they happily use to race around Malton! Race won by Igor Dolvitch.
The Judges have been seen loose. All the Fortress Teams are sent to a different suburb in order to investigate the Judges' appearances. The 'A' Team is sent to West Grayside to investigate Judge Clandestine and to fight him using guerilla tactics. The mission was a resounding success with Anaconda obtaining the best results among all the four Combat Teams.
The team was pitched against each other in a competitive Operation with the battleground at New Arkham. The two teams formed were the Shanghai Stereotypes and the Communists Crusaders with the following results:
In a display of sport, Anaconda demonstrated their might by performing in Floyde Stadium in Barrville. Points were given by reviving, healing, cading, repairing and killing zombies. The scores:
Team Anaconda is taken to the suburb of Havercroft in the first mission led by Puppiemaster. The mission's objectives were to recover Havercroft's infrastucture and paint it green.
Joint Operation with Fortress 1 personnel, Team Cold Cell and our allies, the FPDF (Fort Perryn Defense Force), with the aim of sieging and retaking Fort Perryn and rebuild the suburb infrastructure. The Fortress wide Chimera Chain Kill also occurred during this time (Apr 27 - May 5, 2010) where a astonishing amount of 209 zombies fell to the Fortress soldiers in a record-breaking Chain Kill. The suburb infrastructure got fully repaired and free running paths were cleared. 90 survivors were left to hold the Fort at the end of this Operation. The mission was a complete success.
Lt Hawke lead this OP as part of Anaconda's 'Write your own OP' system where team members get a taste of Command if they write a viable operation. Joint Strike saw Anaconda working in Stanbury Village with Boot Camp, the operation gave Boot Camp recruits the oporunity to engage in Real Time Strikes and get a little taste of the Combat Team life they will enoy after completing their stint in Boot Camp. This short but productive OP saw the combined efforts of BC and Anaconda repair and reclaim the area with comraderie and finesse.
Anaconda moved to East Grayside in a successful operation that saw the red burb turn green. Anaconda achieved their objectives of clearing RPs, recovering resource buildings, providing safe houses for the local population and lighting up freshly repaired ruined dark buildings in their usual efficient manner. The team worked with allies Knights Templar to rebuild East Grayside and left the burb in great shape.
The entire city was looking pretty good, so Team Anaconda grabbed some newspapers and played a little Hide and Seek in Central Malton! With many giggles, the rest of the Condas ran away from the Seekers and dug into their best hiding spots. Soon after the cry, "Ready or not, here I come!", the newspaper slapping began! Many real-time slaps were issued, and somehow, triple-slaps and toolboxes got introduced into the fray. Suddenly, the Condas found the best target of them all: Miss Elainious was hiding in Ridleybank! Hiders and Seekers alike descended upon Miss E, newspapers a-slappin' like crazy. She exacted her revenge by taking a bite out of Lucy. In the end, everyone was laughing, covered in newsprint.
Verdict: Success! Team Anaconda originally had intended only to operate in the suburb of East Becktown but one suburb proved to be too little for Anaconda, the operation was gradually increased to include West Becktown and Darvall Heights. The participants competed against each other to see who could get the most points in specific categories, which resulted in amazing feats of zombie killing, ruin excavation, blood stopping and necromancy. The Final Scores: KILLS: Beats, Spec - 11 REVIVES: Tiago -13 CADES: Spec - 64 REPAIRS: Wes - 77 HEALS: Poet - 45 DEATHS: Morran, Telentis - 1 RANDOM: Flare Kill (Puppie - 1), Generators Saved (Igor - 1), Newspaper Slaps (Lucy - 2), Beer Consumed (Tiago, Squrriels, Den, Beats - ???), Wine Consumed (Poet - 1)
Verdict: Stalemate. On February 3rd Team Anaconda moved into South Blythville in hopes of slowing down the MOB so that Civilians could be evacuated from Locketside, for those who don't know, the MOB (also know as The Militant order of Barhah) is one of the largest Zombie groups in Malton at the moment. Well they would have to out number us 3 to 1 for it to be even a fair fight. However Anaconda pulled through reviving many lost souls and saving the lives of dozens of civilians. Eventually the Team decided to pull out after the civilians were safely away and nothing more could be done for the buildings. When the Mob moved on all they found were empty buildings.
Team Anaconda received a distress call from the citizens of Lockettside and Ruddlebank, but a page of their request was unreadable! By completing certain tasks around the suburb, the Condas were able to collect clues and piece together the final task. The four Condas who solved the mystery were: 1. Tiago Ferreira Tiago only beat out Duncan by 4 minutes!! Congrats to everyone on a mystery solved and a mission well-done!
