Dulston Alliance
History of the Alliance"Tumulo Omnis Mortuus, Mortuus Delendus Es." Formed from the various survivor groups in and around the suburb of Dulston, the Dulston Alliance has grown by leaps and bounds over the years and now includes some of the most active survivor groups in the area. The Alliance has worked hard to bring security to Dulston and through these efforts has spread its protective influence into the adjoining suburbs of Pescodside and Rhodenbank in the form of patrol duties. It is due to these efforts outside Dulston that the Alliance has recruited non-Dulston survivor groups into its ranks and together the Alliance plans for the greater glory of the NE Corner. Not to be forgotten is the hard-fought suburb of Rolt Heights which, although still under contention due to the difficult nature of maintaining revivification there, will one day be fully under survivor control with help from the Alliance. The history of the Dulston Alliance is a memorable one, as our organization has united to fight several hostile organizations since its humble beginnings. From the dreaded zombie horde, the Ridleybank Resistance Front to the cold-blooded killers from DORIS, the Dulston Alliance has always been there to provide the best resistance the suburbs have to offer. Proving yet again that through coordination and cooperation survivors will stand triumphant through any adversity, whether it be zombie or human. So always remember, Malton is our home and the zombies will never take it from us; stay the path and continue the fight... to the last man!
Recent NewsAs a reminder to all members of the Dulston Alliance, be sure to post the latest news items at the top. News items should reflect incidents or events that take place specifically in Dulston, or in the surrounding suburbs of Pescodside, Rhodenbank, or Rolt Heights that together form the NE Corner. Non-Alliance survivors, and hostile groups specifically, should never post news here, but rather should post to the corresponding suburb wikipage where the event occurred. December 25th, 2008 - The Dulston Alliance would like to take a moment to wish every law-abiding survivor in northeast Malton a Merry Christmas. While fighting against the zombies in the continues the Alliance still hopes that everyone was able to enjoy the festive season by decorating their safe houses with Christmas lights and trees. So be sure to check under those trees for gifts from Santa Claus... like extra shotgun ammo. As an FYI, zombies all get coal. Just in case you were wondering. December 16th, 2008 - The Battle of the Border concluded when the Dulston Alliance finally reported, with much fanfare, that the last of the zombies plaguing Treweeke Mall had been terminated and cleared out. With the mall recaptured and much of the suburb on the mend efforts were now being made to publicly attract as many mall rats as possible back to their beloved mall. And by "mall rats" we of course mean "mall defenders". May they grow plentiful in number until the mall is bursting at the seams like back in the old days. Of course the threat of zombie oppression is ever present, seething over the next horizons as they watch survivors, hating us for what we have and what they covet the most. Brains. December 15th, 2008 - Though it was known to few outside the Alliance, for the past two weeks a massive joint operation between members from every Alliance groups had fought in unison in one major tactical operation (which I have arbitrarily named), The Battle of the Border, a conflict that had spanned several tactical locations between Rhodenbank and Dulston. On Monday, December 8th at 04:34 PM, in the midst the conflict Officer Murphy of Dead vs Blue spoke to the assembled Alliance forces, "There's something I wanted to say. In almost 3 years of playing I've NEVER seen so many groups come together to hold of an area like we have. I was at Blackmore, and yes, there were a lot more people/groups and a lot more zombies, but you don't need as much communication when it's just one building. We are surrounded by 'burbs which are disaster zones and are maintaining multiple buildings as well as reviving fallen allies with what little man power and resources we have. Maybe it's just because it's the Dulston Alliance doing this...but it's f**king awesome. So I want to thank the groups I've seen which include my buds in DvB, RCDC, FotFL, Metal Fox, FOXHOUND, D.I.T.P.S, ELT, Rolt Heights Vigilante Patrol. Seriously, regardless of the outcome, this is the Dulston Alliance's finest hour." December 6th, 2008 - The Alliance continues to fight on two fronts, and if history has proven anything, this will no doubt lead to interesting results as the Alliance seeks yet again to beat the odds and secure a lasting victory against the undead scourge. At this time we have operatives on the NE Crusade, as well as a large mobile group geared towards another operation elsewhere. While events appear to be taking a turn for the better these days it doesn't take but for a single stroke of bad luck to turn them back. It is for this reason that the Alliance continues to seek out any survivors willing and able to work together with us to help retake our city. The more we all work together the stronger we become. No more running. November 28th, 2008 - The Alliance continues to fight the good fight. Operatives from each of the Alliance's member groups are working towards liberating and holding several key buildings throughout each suburb. During these operations Alliance members are reminded to maintain contact in order to coordinate the restoration effort. Recent reports have indicated that operatives who traversed outside Alliance territories to secure much-needed supplies from safer suburbs are now returning to bolster our efforts to evict the zombie menace. No doubt it is only a matter of time. November 18th, 2008 - Miss Elainious, a diplomat from The Fortress, met with representatives from the Alliance today to discuss the strategic situation in northeast Malton. The Fortress has extended an offer to send volunteers from its ranks to assist with restoring order in the northeast. The Alliance has graciously accepted their ally's offer and we are currently weighing the tactical significance of various locations throughout our suburbs as potential reclamation targets. November 15th, 2008 - It is with heavy hearts that the Alliance reported the fall of Anne General Hospital. Despite the combined efforts of Deathwire and the D.I.T.P.S the zombies breached the building's defences and killed everyone inside. When asked to comment on the recent ruination of his beloved hospital and his subsequent death, Deathwire had this to say, "<BLEEP> everyone". Ummm... not sure the Alliance concurs with that sentiment, so to help rephrase it we look to Khan Noonien Singh who said it best with his famous last words, "From hell's heart, I stab at thee. For hate's sake, I spit my last breath at thee". Unlike Khan however the Alliance will recover from this loss. November 14th, 2008 - Alliance recon has reported zombie mobs have begun to spread throughout Dulston. Of particular note there were 14 zombies outside Anne General Hospital. No doubt the zombies have caught wind of Deathwire's awe-inspiring art collection and have launched an attack against the very heart of the D.I.T.P.S cultural revolution. November 11th, 2008 - Zombies have invaded Pescodside. As was expected the Militant Order of Barhah are slowly moving northwards in the campaign of ho-hum terror. I mean, seriously, who hasn't been eaten by a zombie here in Malton? They should have tried a new tactic. For example, what if the horde just tore down each building's barricades and occupied every building, but didn't attack anyone for days on end. They could just stare at survivors. Now that would be a new and fresh idea. As it is, survivors can expect more zombie attacks in the days to come. November 7th, 2008 - After several days of fighting Treweeke Mall has fallen again. This seems to be a real see-saw affair these days with the mall being lost and reclaimed on a weekly basis. No doubt in a week or so the mall will be retaken and we'll post another news item about it and so on. But why waste all the Alliance news posts on the mall? I know I would rather talk about something else, like pie for example. Delicious, delicious pie. Mmmm. Every loyal member of the Alliance loves pie. If you don't, then you're a bloody traitor. How do you like them apples? Apple pie. Mmmm. In other news, Alliance operatives are reminded that the Militant Order of Barhah are currently active in Dunningwood. Scouts from the Imperium of Man are currently monitoring their progress. November 3rd, 2008 - As Alliance operatives and other allies worked to mop-up the last remnants of the zombies that had assaulted Treweeke Mall, the leaders and diplomats of the Alliance, the Imperium of Man, SNAKEHOUND, and the Burchell Arms Regulars met within its walls in order to continue discussions on whether they would form a unified Black List for northeast Malton. Should these talks conclude in agreeance then all parties would utilize this new Black List to coordinate all future hunts against mutually identified criminals who pose threats to the associated survivor groups.
Radio Frequency
Since the inception of radios the Dulston Alliance has claimed the frequency 26.36 MHz. Communications on this channel should be limited to Dulston Alliance members or survivors requesting assistance from the Alliance. In those cases your location, the number of zombies, number of survivors, and barricade status are required in order determine the factors necessary in order to facilitate an organized response operation. This frequency is also a good means of passing on links to the profiles of any survivor charged with murder. Keep in mind this channel should not be used for general discussion or anything but vital suburb defense communications.
Dulston Alliance Code of Conduct1. No Zerging - We do not allow members to run two seperate characters within' the Dulston Alliance or any of it's groups. In addition, if a member does have another character be it survivor, player killer or zombie. This character must stay a minimum of 20 city blocks away from their Dulston Alliance character. Basically, two full burbs away. NO EXCEPTIONS. 2. No Spying - Don't join other groups to get information & don't join other forums in hopes of gaining insider information. 3. No Player Killing - DO NOT KILL another survivor for any reason. Well, as long as they aren't on the Dulston Alliance Black List anyway. If you are killed report their name for their first warning on the Dulston Alliance forum. If they happen to commit an act again they will be on the list permanently. If killing someone on the Black List please announce their execution before or after and state they are on they are in fact on the Dulston Alliance list. Take note, we forbid the use of Rouges Gallery for bounties as well.
4. No Generator Killing - These are for the common good and should not be destroyed. It's as simple as that. If the burb is in a state of emergency than a generator may be destroyed for security reasons only. If the building is occupied by other survivors please let this be known before or after you disable it. 5. Don't be an Ass! - Do not spam the radio. Do not insult other survivors (no matter dumb they may be). Do not join other groups forums to start e-drama & always help a new survivor out if they ask for advice. We are here to protect the suburbs and it's people, not act like idiots or school yard bullies. We are all for having fun but just don't carry it too far to the point people get tired of you and it takes focus away from more important things. 6. Do Not Kill Zombies at Revive Points - The only exceptions to this rule are brain rotters or Black Listed character. Be sure to check the revive points on the wiki for any suburb you are in and avoid killing ANY zombies at these specific locations. 7. In Fact, Do Not Kill Zombies in the Street...Period! - There is no greater waste of AP than to kill a zombie simply standing outside. Wait for them to breach a building before you decide to go trigger happy. If you want to level up healing other survivors is a much better way.
The Dulston Alliance's Official Zerging & Spying Policy1. The groups and general membership of the Dulston Alliance shall not Zerg under any circumstance. Punishment will be decided by the Dulston Alliance leadership and can be increased depending on the situation and the scale of the incident, and the length of time the member has been part of the Alliance (AKA, the "Newbie Clause"), but minimum sentence is having all zerglings deported from Dulston immediately, and the offender in question required to publicly explain and apologize. - Any member found zerging a second time, and are still part of the Alliance, will find themselves banned from the Alliance, permanently, and their offense recorded on the Black List.
- Any member of a Dulston Alliance group found spying wrongfully will suffer heavy penalties.
