Zacharias General Hospital

Description

Zacharias General Hospital is one of two hospitals operating in Gulsonside, the other location is

General Information

This hospital is an excellent place to search for first aid kits, however you won't find much else of use. If you are an injured survivor that is not in the PKer Database we suggest taking a number and filling out your insurance information, a staff physician will be with you as soon as possible. This location is also along a Free-Running lane to Blesley Mall. for some reason here is a map. This hospital is also under the jurisdiction of Malton Expeditionary Force Southern Division, and is the main source of the Division's FAK's. Should this building ever come under siege, the MEF will defend it.

Barricade Plan

In accordance with the Uniform Barricade policy, and with the wishes of Malton Hospitals Group, this building should remain at VSB+2 (but not EHB) at all times. Please refer to the Gulsonside Barricade Plan with any questions.

Current Status

1 June 2008 The Hospital is powered up and with surviviors and Dr's inside. Currently at EHB. Will work on bringing that down.Wavey 12.23, 1 June 2008(GMT)

17 May 2008 Strongly barricaded, one zed, 25 bodies outside. franz georg schmidt 11:10, 17 May 2008 (EDST)

27 April 2007 The Hospital is in bad shape after the Horde of the Big Bash has moved through. Gulsonside mall is fallen and area resource buildings are destroyed. WE WILL REBUILD Liam Degen 01:11, 27 April 2007 (BST)

6 Oct 2006 The situation at Creek NT seems to have stabilized a bit. The building isn't safe to stay in for more than 24 hours at a time, but the bot-zeds seem to have disappeared for now. We also have construction specialists to maintain the cades somewhat. What we have now, however, is a small handful of determined zeds with the following tactic:

  • one breaks down the 'cades
  • one takes a bite out of everybody possible, infecting everybody
  • one targets the body builders

Of course, they get killed quickly enough and thrown back outside. But, they have Vigour Mortis and start over again in 36 hours. They are well coordinated, but nobody has managed to get a DNA scan on them to see if they are zerging on us. Colonel al

28 Sept 2006 I am at Zacharias General Hospital (72,79) and am running into issues regarding the Creek NT Building to the NW. Those of us running the hospital have discovered that the zeds outside Creek are bots of some sort. Every time we close a door, it opens back up again and we get flooded with zeds. It has happened too many times for it to be a coincidence. I'm headed back to Blesley Mall to round up reinforcements and a transmitter. We could use some help. Colonel al

16 Sept 2006 We have declared victory at Blesley Mall. Thanks to everybody involved (see Stickman's master list at the Blesley Mall discussion page). Just a few more things to do, like make sure that fuel, gens, and transmitters are in place, then I'll start thinking about Scartletwood. Probably the 1st thing on the agenda is to make sure Zacharias General Hospital (72,79) is back in operation -- the last time I was in Scarletwood, this Gulsonside hospital was full of zeds and weary survivors from the attempted Scarletwood/Greyside border defense.
