25px icons

Hey! One quick note — and sorry this is unclear in the instructions. When, on a suburb group listing, it says "25px", that refers to the maximum height of the icon; however, the wiki's code (where you actually input the "25px") controls the width. That means that for non-square icons like File:BloodSpatter.png, you have to adjust the "|25px" to something that reduces the height to 25px. Aichon and I have done this (switching it to 14px width) on the two suburbs on which ENVY is listed. Hope that was clear! Bob Moncrief ^EBD•W! 00:12, 26 January 2017 (UTC)

"Deleted" discussions

Hey, just so you’re aware, there’s no need for screenshots to document conversations. All of the edits are still available for anyone to see. Click the "diff" link next to any edit in Recent Changes (or on a page’s history) if you’re interested in seeing what was said. Or just click on the timestamp link for any entry in a page’s history to see the page as it appeared then. It’s all still there. Nothing “swept under the rug”, I promise. :)

Also, sysops didn’t remove any conversations during that flurry of activity yesterday. The only discussion I’m aware of that was removed from a page was the invalid Misconduct case (while it’s a discussion worth having, Misconduct is not the appropriate place to have it, and as such it was due for immediate removal) that a non-sysop removed. But again, it wasn’t deleted from the page history, so you can still see each and every thing that was said.

In fact, the only items that were truly deleted last night were three images that a vandal account uploaded to harass ENVY and you. I banned the account and deleted the images (as per policy), since they were uploaded by a known vandal who was actively engaging in vandalism with those uploads. —Aichon— 13:25, 30 April 2018 (UTC)

Oh, and on the topic of "maybe new rules should be considered", that's not up to the sysops. Sysops don't make the rules, we just enforce them. Making new rules is up to you, me, and everyone else as a community. If you want to change the rules, the place to initiate that change is at UDWiki:Administration/Policy Discussion. It should be noted, however, that we've had difficulty passing policies aimed at curbing activities related to zerging. Here to second these sentiments. The only thing 'removed' from the wiki was the idiotic misconduct case, and it's still easily found in the history of the page. And if the removal irks you and you want that conversation repeated, just trigger the relevant parties on someone's talk page, not Misconduct. Since you blocked me from the ENVY discord and from discord DMs with you... do you really actually think I control the wiki/game?
