The U.S. ARMY INFANTRY is in Shearbank

Captain Mordac and the rest of Bravo Platoon is in Shearbank to help with the defense of the survivors and to help recapture the suburb. If you would like to coordinate, let me know. --Stickman 17:34, 23 February 2007 (UTC)

Congratulations to the Lime Brigade

Whatever you choose to do from here on in, I want to congratulate you all on the amazing defence you executed of Stickling Mall in the past month. At first, with weight of numbers on your side and an under-strength and relatively uncoordinated Mall Tour, it looked like being a rather boring seige. However, as momentum for the Mall Tour mounted, strategies changed, zombie and PK numbers increased and survivor numbers started to dwindle, it was clear that the Lime Brigade was the glue holding together Stickling Mall. The Tour's paradigm changed from trying to take a certain block of the Mall/Whippey, to hitting wherever the Limeys weren't. To force such a large group to specifically work around your defence is a testament to your achievement.

A special word for pmchem; your leadership, and dealing with the BS politics associated with herding survivors and liasing with survivor groups, was clearly a major driving force here. The Mall's fall doesn't take away the fact that you tirelessly and efficiently led the defence of the Mall for longer than any normal harman could have hoped to. Well done! -(Just David/Distinguished) David Suzuki 07:13, 23 February 2007 (UTC)

Totally agreed. I've never known one Harman be able to gather so many groups at such short notice, and organize such great defence that lasted so long. Every day we had to keep a check on where your group was and plan our attacks with The Lime Brigade in mind, and often just hope that some of you weren't active once we'd got inside, and as far as I remember that never happened once, we always had to either fight you or watch the cades go back up from one of your members. Also, if it wasn't for the other Tourists, I'd have left about 10 days ago and admitted defeat. It was only once we voted that I decided to stick it out and carry on battling.
Despite the numerous attempts we had had winding eachother up and wearing eachother down in the forums aswell, well played, and I hope you stay around ingame. :) Thanks to all of you Limes for giving us a battle to remember.--Xyu 08:40, 23 February 2007 (GMT)
Great warriors were those from the Lime Brigade. Would you like to try again ? Treweeke is waiting. --People's Commissar Hagnat [cloned] [mod] 03:19, 26 February 2007 (UTC)
  • I just wanted to say "thank you" for all the nice comments here. The Lime Brigade is basically inactive, scattered to the wind. I resigned as leader and people are just milling around, having fun. Some are going zombie, some are going PK, some are staying true survivors. Good luck, Malton... --Pchem 04:41, 1 March 2007 (UTC)

Juggernauts of Stickling

Hiya guys, its DHG anyway, We need to start coordinating assaults. Chem is on our boards, and I'd like to be on yours, but I can't make heads nor tails out of them. So chem, or anyone else who wants to help a slow reader such as myself understand the intricacies of the shacknews system, I'd be very much obliged --General Lee A. Dickhole Malton Rangers 23:13, 28 January 2007 (UTC)

  • Hey, I'll try and priv msg you some info on the NMC boards real soon. Our forum is pretty different, as you've observed. It has different etiquette too. --Pchem 03:47, 29 January 2007 (UTC)

Survivor Security Zone

The Survivor Security Zone is a specific area near the center of Malton, where four malls and other resources are located closely together, allowing for efficient territory protection. The Survivor Security Zone (aka, "The SSZ" or "The Zone") has a high concentration of resources, compared to all other areas of Malton. The Zone is different from other tactical initiative in that it spans multiple suburbs (at least five have important resources), and cuts some suburbs in half.

The physical boundaries of the Survivor Security Zone are defined by the proximity of four malls: Tynte Mall to the north, Woodroffe Mall to the South, Hildebrand Mall to the east, and Nichols Mall to the west. Projecting out a 10-block "square of influence" from each of these malls, and combining the overlapping areas, will define the boundaries of the Security Survivor Zone. The boundary has also been extended a couple blocks in a couple places to "annex" some police stations on the perimeter.

I know you guys are currently located a couple neighborhoods west of this area; Peter Steele on the DEM's forums suggested we ask for your support. We could use all the support we can get to defend the area! - Benigno , Zone Defenders 1/16/07

I expect we will be in Havercroft/Ackland for at least another week or two, but I like what you all are trying to do in that area. Maybe we will pay a visit there next. I understand Tynte Mall is currently zombie turf. --Pchem 01:31, 21 January 2007 (UTC)
We appreciate the support and look forward to seeing you around the area! If you do decide to send some forces over to help defend part of the area, be sure to add your name to the SSZ wiki page. Thanks in advance! Benigno,Zone Defenders 20:55 1/21/07

Birth of the Lime Brigade

This group is composed of former Shacknews members who are trying out the human side of life. Feel free to say hello! --Pchem 04:18, 23 December 2006 (UTC)

Greetings from the Malton Rangers

Nice to see you all fighting for the good side. Hey chem, care to come up to caiger and clean up the mess your former selves made? --General Lee A. Dickhole Malton Rangers 15:29, 23 December 2006 (UTC)

  • Nope. that's all you, DHG. Besides many of us have alt-zombies there defending the mall.--FyunchClick 15:38, 23 December 2006 (UTC)
  • I'll admit, I have an alt defending that general area. Not gonna give up Caiger or Giddings without a fight, but I imagine that C4NT+DHPD+Rangers will retake Caiger sooner rather than later. It's been zed occupied for longer than I thought it would. --Pchem 07:17, 24 December 2006 (UTC)
the problem is that unlike shacknews, we're not as coordinated. I'm sure if you guys came you'd clear it in a night (we came very close last night). Anyway, we might just pay you guys a visit in raines hills. Who knows, maybe a joint strike on creedy or perryn? you'd have to teach me how to use your forums, however.--General Lee A. Dickhole Malton Rangers 19:19, 24 December 2006 (UTC)
A belated reply. Congrats on retaking Caiger! That's another chunk of Malton history. We would be interested in joint efforts with you one day, on an interesting Mall or Fort. And yes, we'll teach you how to use our forums.  :) --Pchem 01:16, 4 January 2007 (UTC)

The Charge of the Lime Brigade

Someone really ought to knock up a revised version of Lord Tennyson's "Charge of the Light Brigade" with limes instead of light... --Alphane 12:31, 24 December 2006 (UTC)

OK. I had a bash at it. See here. I don't know if or how we'd incorporate it into the page though. --Alphane 19:45, 23 February 2007 (UTC)

How about Giddings?

I know that Giddings was your last big seige, but we do need the help. The mall has changed hands 4 times in the last two days, it'd be quite a good proving ground for an aspiring survivor group like yourselves. Redwave 19:22, 27 December 2006 (UTC)

  • Our humans are watching the fight at Giddings with great interest, but too many of us have zombie alts down there or love of Shacknews' last great siege. The Lime Brigade will not be reinforcing survivors in Pitneybank. Sorry! --Pchem 00:16, 3 January 2007 (UTC)

Fate

Looks like fate brought us together Pchem. :D I never thought that the Mall Tour would go up against you guys so quickly. It'll be fantastic to fight against you, instead of along side you. May the best horde win! --Heiki 06:50, 25 January 2007 (UTC)

  • heh. yeah, I've had a couple deaths at Stickling already, but it's all good and fun. Better me than someone who will get discouraged and leave, to be honest. See you on the flipside! --Pchem 03:48, 29 January 2007 (UTC)

The Great Suburb Group Massacre

Stop hand.png Group Active? Request.
In order to maintain the wiki as an up to date source of information groups are occasionally removed from the Suburb pages when they are no longer active. Is this group still active? If so simply confirm here by writing something below. If not it will be removed from suburb pages in 14 days.

Currently the suburb in question is Millen Hills but one response to this query will be all that is needed to protect your group link on all suburb pages. I know this is a may seem a stupid request but its for all groups regardless of size. Thank you. --Adavastor 20:23, 30 July 2008 (BST)

Stop hand.png Group Inactive?
No reply has been recieved as to whether this group is still active. The 14 days have passed and as such the groups link has been removed from suburb listings. If the group is again active please feel free to revert these changes
