NW Borhamwood is under heavy zed siege. Most PDs and hospitals have been breached and ruined. Survivors come here at your own risk; large zombie mob is currently working in Radlett and may come back at any time. Scattered groups of feral zeds still present here, offering significant risk to survivors wandering the streets. Stick to dark clubs and theatres if you absolutely have to sleep here; otherwise seek shelter to the east or south. --Circus Midget 21:34 EST, 13 December 2008

8 December 2008

Parkhouse is just fine, for what that's worth. Sporadic but persistent break-ins at Denning PD, Birgitta and Aloysius Hospitals, and elsewhere are a sobering reminder of the increasingly hostile climate in this suburb. Denning has been reclaimed; the status of the hospitals is unclear. Survivors from catastrophes elsewhere in Borehamwood are welcome in the Wild Wild N'est.--Saburai 01:18, 9 December 2008 (UTC) (Joe)

7 December 2008

Things have got distinctly warmer in the wicked wild northwest. A horde of zed overran St Aloysius Hospital, previously a survivor stronghold, now with 17 zack inside. St Birgitta's Hospital next door and Walmsley Terrace Police Station are likely to be not far behind. The undead are moving fast and in dangerously large numbers... Scattered single zombies have been sighted aimlessly roaming the fields to the North and West. Veteran survivors are moving on to quieter parts of town. Radio broadcasts are becoming less and less frequent and there is no news from the heavily armed cadres last known to be based at Parkhouse Walk PD. Scribble 15:59, 7 December 2008 (UTC)

3 December 2008

There's a zombie at Clare General Hospital [542, 24], 2 at Selleck Monument [542,25] and 1 at Naish Cinema [542,26], all standing. The zombies appear to be advancing quickly into secure regions, focusing on lit targets. Soon they'll reach the PDs near Parkhouse Walk [539,29] and things are bound to escalate in the area. --Necrofeelinya 21:45, 3 December 2008 (UTC)

November 2008

26 November 2008

Galaxy News Radio is reporting a murder [1] in the Nest (Northwest Borehamwood). Alexander Michaleson is accused of killing not a pker2 and fleeing to Lawrie Place Garage [539,19]. Otherwise, things are quiet in the suburb. Some buildings of high significance, such as St. Aloysius Hospital and Barrington Court Fire Station, have begun barricading to EHB++. Those seeking refuge at such locations should count on having free running, or should find another place to rest. Parkhouse Walk is still on the VSB standard for the time being, depending on local zed activity. --Saburai 22:32, 26 November 2008 (UTC) (aka "Joe")

I just made a trip up to the railway station north of town (534/8) - inside was a zed and survivor Slap Box. I hacked the zed down to 35 HP, healed Slap Box up to 40 HP and caded the building to VSB level. It's a 13 AP journey from Walmsley Terrace Police Station including entry (26 AP round-trip). A shorter trip can be made from Ayre Yard Garage, but rest & charge up your AP before heading out. If anyone's interested, this is a fairly good "kill a zed/save a life" mission that has some good EP potential, despite the AP investment to get there. For better success, team up. --Circus Midget 22:56, 26 November 2008

23 November 2008

Everything is pretty safe right now. I even saw several survivors asleep out in the street, and some cops and army troops wandering about. Even on the CCTV cameras theres no zeds. Even so, remember that even just one zed can kill you while you sleep so get in a strongly barricaded safe house and have some spare ammo on you all the time. Keep killing the zeds and eventually they should get bored and go away. --Private Gary Ryans 20:51, 23 November 2008 (UTC)

15 November 2008

Zeds are scarce on the streets; however, scouts have confirmed they're hiding in buildings that are wide open or secured. They're particularly fond of buildings without power, as they're harder to hit in the darkness. Zombie hunters are encouraged to hunt in groups and check inside wide open and secured buildings. Players with construction skill and toolchest can help increase community security by actively barricading any building with insufficient security, preferrably to "very strong" level. --Circus Midget 11:42, 15 November 2008 (UTC)

11 November 2008

A fairly efficient communications net has been thrown up to the east of the Railway line. Many people are using the local frequency (28.06) to radio in zombie positions, request barricading help or to ask for general advice. Biggest group of zombies seen so far is three. Still relatively safe for survivors. --RosslessnessWant a Location Image? 21:39, 11 November 2008 (UTC)

5 November 2008

Up at Hoskins Crescent PD. Passed a petrol station (S of Paddon building) with lights on and doors open (?). A zed was wandering nearby. I didn't have a spare AP to stop and look, but a few hours later, a desperately wounded survivor showed up at Hoskins with 4 HP. Confirmation of the first successful break-in in NW Borehamwood? Perhaps. I'm hoping the survivor chooses to talk about it. Hoskins was unbarricaded at the time, but is now VSB. If area zombies are confirmed to have Memories of Life, things just got a lot more dangerous around here. Stay vigilant. --Saburai 14:44, 7 November 2008 (UTC)

Zombie attacks continue to increase. St Birgitta's Hospital suffered a break in and cades were down. casulties reported. --RosslessnessWant a Location Image? 22:51, 7 November 2008 (UTC)

5 November 2008

Only sporadic zombie activity in suburb, though zombies are racking up experience knocking down barricades. One lone straggler took down all the barricades at St. Juan hospital, but couldn't open the doors. It's a good thing, too: nobody noticed for over 4 hours. St. Juan now loosely barricaded, for what that's worth. A few injuries at Dowsett PD, but nothing astonishing. It looks like the 28.06 standard is getting picked up across the suburb for now. --Saburai 18:49, 5 November 2008 (UTC)

3 groups now confirmed as using 28.06 for a less spamful broadcast band. --RosslessnessWant a Location Image? 21:39, 5 November 2008 (UTC)

4 November 2008

Parkhouse Walk Police Station (Borehamwood) is operating as an impromptu hub for defense coordination across the Northwest Borehamwood Police Crescent (consisting of Evelyn Grove, Preller Grove, Parkhouse Walk, and Denning Row PDs). They are broadcasting on 28.06 and three of the four PDs are powered and barricaded. Survivors are currently trying to organize with local hospitals and other resource buildings.--User:Saburai 4 November 2008

Galaxy News Radio's first broadcast

Drum roll please! O.K so this is G.N.R's first offical broadcast!

This is Three Dog here! Your master of the mic, Disk jockey extrodinaire! Coming to you live from our station is Northwest Borehamwood! we're sorry it has to be over the wiki and not in game, our current lack of radio transmitter puts us in an awkard situation. Due to the lack of radio transmitter Three Dog won't be able to play you some great tunes but you all can live untill we make it live. We'd also like to ask any survivors out there to let us know if they have a spare radio transmitter we could use? leave a message on our talk page if you do!

Well here goes! As you all should know, our scouts around the place report barricades popping up all over the place, looks like the good fight is winning, for the time being... Running through the streets there are very few Zeds and just as few dead bodies! it's looking good out there for humankind, then again it always does in the first days, as the days turn to weeks and the weeks turn into months and as the borders lock you can sleep well knowing we'll be with you every step of the way... hopefully in game soon!

Also sending out our luck to the boys from Big Survivors Little Survivor and to Parkhouse Walk PD, these guys are fighting the good fight, look out from them out there!

let us know what you thought of our first show on our talk page
