Headless Rampage

Removed by author for daily edit original suggest_time=MrAushvitz Canadianflag-sm.jpg 03:13, 25 February 2007 (UTC)

She had 2 Keeps, 5 Kills. It needed to be more useful, less weak.. but fair.

Marksmanship

Timestamp: Kamikaze12 12:53, 25 February 2007 (UTC)
Type: Zombie Hunter Skill
Scope: High level Survivors.
Description: Appears on Zombie Hunter skills tree as a sub-skill of head shot

Taking into account the complete lack of zombie hunter skills other than head shot.

Proposing a new skill should be added that increases the accuracy of all firearms by a further five percent. This skill would apply to the usual zombie hunter rules that state a player can not buy them whilest they are under level ten.

Convinced that this will make becoming a zombie hunter a more rewarding occupation whilest not effecting the game dramatically. The implication of this skill will also dispell the minor injustice that a player who has full firearms skills and is only level six can kill a zombie or even another player as quickly as a level forty one player can.

In Closing i am sure this skill will bring a new diversity to the zombie hunter 'class' and will altogether make more of a rewarding gap between higher and lower level players.

Keep Votes

  1. Token Keep If you edit/re-submit might I propose it be worded Requires level: 15 or higher to purchase, adds +5% to hit with Pistol and Flare Gun. Reason why, shotguns are 10 Damage with the same chance to hit as pistols, a very, very controlled substance. Shoot people/zombies with flare guns.. oh man, that's all gravy! Pistol ammo is easy to find, and pistols only do 5 damage.. sure +5% with a skill. MrAushvitz Canadianflag-sm.jpg 02:38, 26 February 2007 (UTC)

  1. Kill - All this actually improves is PKing. Shooting a zambah that has Ankle Grab is nearly pointless, shooting a weak low level zambah is already easy enough. The only place you get a decent bang for your buck is putting those bullets in other harmanz - hardly a Zombie Hunter thing to do. This would be nice for a death cultist such as myself, but not worth bothering with overall. --Mold 15:21, 25 February 2007 (UTC)
    • Re - ive been re evaluating the idea and the point you made about it helping pkers is a good one.I was thinking about editing the original idea so that the 5% increase is only applied when attacking a zombie player.
  2. kill A full +5% with all firearms is hardly a minor change unlikely to change much. It's rather drastic. - BzAli 15:39, 25 February 2007 (UTC)
  3. Kill Accounting for the fact that one zombie hunter skill nearly destroyed game balance; convinced that guns work just fine and trenchcoating is a lousy "strategy" anyhow; closing by saying "diversity my ass, every survivor and his dog would buy this skill, and we'd back back to square one, only with guns further dominating over HtH combat weapons." --S.Wiers X:00 17:35, 25 February 2007 (UTC)
  4. Weak Kill - As above, I suppose. Seems like a good idea at first, but might upset the balance further against zombies. --Saluton 19:27, 25 February 2007 (UTC)
    • Re - im all for the zombie apocalypse as its what makes this game so good but i seriously dont think that this will upset the balance that much the main purpose it serves is to reward the higher level players.
  5. Kill - Zombie Hunters are effective enough as they are, and with 65% chance to hit with maxed out gun skills, there's seriously no need to increase it even farther. It's just another thorn in zombies' sides. --Grace RR - PKer 22:13, 25 February 2007 (UTC)
    • Re -thorn in the zombies side??? this is a human skill thats exactly what it should be.
  6. Kill, and change -Make a similar skill for mele weapons and make it only work when attacking zeds. Yeah zombie hunters are effective enough as they are, they can make a zombie spend 6AP stand-up costs for only 25 AP! Yeah... --AlexanderRM 6:32 PM, 25 Febuary 2007 (EST)
  7. Kill-NO don't! Here is a story, Im a survior in one day im killed, and since then i have never been able to get up because i get some ap i get up i get a head shot then tomorrow i get up and i get shot in the head again! 8. LOLNO I rest my case -- FriedFish.ca 1:29, 26 February 2007 (UTC)
  9. Kill - The Zombie Hunter skill tree and the ammo hit percentages are good as they are now. Could you please sign your replies too? Thanks. --ZombieSlay3rSig.png 16:53, 26 February 2007 (UTC)
  10. Kill - As per Mold. It just isn't needed.--Priz 06:25, 8 March 2007 (UTC)

  1. BAM! Lower-Left-Leg Shot! - You only miss one third of the time, isn't that good enough?--Labine50 MH|ME|'07 01:12, 26 February 2007 (UTC)

Zombies Open Doors from Inside

Shown to be a dupe of this skill. Remvoed by author (but reiterates that it sure would be nice)... --Matt Scott 9 16:46, 25 February 2007 (UTC)
