#'''kill''' while the other crucifix suggestion gets past my "no religion in game" filter nthis one does not... Why? Because this one involves actually invoking a particular religion thus favouring it over others and that will just generate another wave of "change some churches to Mosques/Hindu temples/Druidic Circles etc" --[[User:Honestmistake|Honestmistake]] 15:15, 19 October 2008 (BST) | #'''kill''' while the other crucifix suggestion gets past my "no religion in game" filter nthis one does not... 20081019 Crucifixes, read first, do not dupe
Yonnua Koponen 11:09, 19 October 2008 (BST)
Suggestion type
Flavour.
Suggestion scope
Survivors in church.
Suggestion description
Before you say that this suggestion is spam because it has crucifix in the title, read it.
I merely mean to suggest an alternative to the godly power of crucifixes which is normally suggested, yet to give a slight purpose to them that people who carry them seem to want so much.
In a Church/Cathedral, one carrying a crucifix can spend an action point praying, and recieves the flavor text 'You get down on a knee and pray for salvation' or something along those lines.
That's it. Nothing happens, you just get the flavor text. This means that crucifixes now have a minor use, but are still very much flavor items. So, what do you think? Constructive criticism is advised. Yonnua Koponen 11:09, 19 October 2008 (BST)

- Keep - Meh, it's flavour and whilst I won't say that I particularly want it, I don't find it objectionable. I also don't see why it can't stand alongside the other suggestion as a second 'use' for a crucifix. --Papa Moloch 12:03, 19 October 2008 (BST)
- Keep - The other suggestion for crucifixes was better, imo, but what the hell. We could always merge this one with the other. --Private Mark 21:34, 19 October 2008 (BST)
- Keep - Meh, why not. It doesn't show text to anyone but the person clicking on it, so, in that sense, it might be even LESS potentially objectionable than the other one. I still prefer the "wave" suggestion, though. --Jen 21:48, 19 October 2008 (BST)
- Keep - Ain't nothing wrong with a little flavor text, it wont do no harm, why not,I say keep--Brian eetar 21:51, 19 October 2008 (BST)
Kill Votes
- Kill - I like the other one better. This one's too over the top for my liking. -- Cheese 11:18, 19 October 2008 (BST)
- There's another one?Yonnua Koponen 11:27, 19 October 2008 (BST)
- Kill - give a useless use to a useless item? no thanks --Irounds 13:46, 19 October 2008 (BST)
- kill while the other crucifix suggestion gets past my "no religion in game" filter nthis one does not... Why? Because this one involves actually invoking a particular religion thus favouring it over others and that will just generate another wave of "change some churches to Mosques/Hindu temples/Druidic Circles etc" --Honestmistake 15:15, 19 October 2008 (BST)
- It's a crucifix. That makes it Christian. Are you stupid or something? Yonnua Koponen 07:40, 21 October 2008 (BST)
- Weak Kill as Honest. The other crucifix suggestion does this better without making it overly religious. Linkthewindow Talk 22:50, 19 October 2008 (BST)
- Oh, and be sure to use Talk:Suggestions next time. Linkthewindow Talk 02:18, 20 October 2008 (BST)
- Kill I like the other one better and as said above it will make the game more religous which is not really the point --Michaleson CAPD 23:52, 19 October 2008 (BST)
- Kill/Change Remove 'for salvation," and you have my vote. And I hope Midianian will be voting against the "talk to yourself" item on Talk:Suggestions. -- Galaxy125 04:45, 20 October 2008 (BST)
- Kill Sorry, but this just doesn't sound appealing to me, especially since its for a pointless item.--Omega360 04:55, 20 October 2008 (BST)
- Kill - But why would you need a crucifix to pray? A church has pews and kneelers. You can just pray anytime you're in a church.--Kolechovski 19:19, 20 October 2008 (BST)
Spam/Dupe Votes
- Spam - There's already a silly suggestion under voting, giving crucifixes a non-purpose. The place to get constructive criticism is Talk:Suggestions -- boxy talk • teh rulz 11:16 19 October 2008 (BST)
- Spam - le sigh. I had big hopes for this one what with the title and all...--xoxo 12:08, 19 October 2008 (BST)
- Spam - An action that doesn't do anything, and isn't even visible to others. That's a waste of code. --Midianian|T|T:S|C:RCS| 23:29, 19 October 2008 (BST)
- Spam - I agree with Midianian, i see stuff that auctuly have a function wasting ap when you use it inpropely, but for an update to make somethings sole function to be a complete waste of aps is just ridiculous --Tjayh913 01:37, 20 October 2008 (BST)
- Spadoink-a-spam-o-dupe - as boxy, there's a half decent suggestion getting voted on... and... if you wanna pray, just RP it... --WanYao 09:52, 20 October 2008 (BST)
- Spam - Cause it had Crucifixes in the title--/~Rakuen~\Talk I Still Love Grim 20:34, 20 October 2008 (BST)
