[[Shackleville]] members of [[Fortress]] were given an unltinmatum. Leave all the schools in the area and make all hospitals
no kill zone like [[St. Alexander's hospital]] in [[Lockettside]]. Until the damands are met all survivours sleeping in
schools in [[Shackleville]] and the surounding suburbs are hostages. We can not force them to stay, but we can kill them if they do.
This ultimatum was given to the group [[Fortress]]. They must remove their men from all schools in malton, and make all hospitals
in their teritory no kill zones. If you have a friend who sleeps in a school, and will not leave; help us to get fortress to obey.
Kill them were you see them, and the name of the person you want safe will be put on the list. If you wish to do this go the the [[hitman]]
discussion and ut a name of a survivor and the names of those frotress members you killed to portect that person. Remeber everyone in malton is a pker
or was at one point, you were either cold blooded or you did it to survive, will you kill one to save others....no this is not a Jigsaw want to be.
and this was started by the 2nd in command no me. I simply aprove.

History

Shackleville is a suburb of Malton, located to the south of the city centre. The suburb is named after the prison complex which was located in the South-West area, housing the very worst dregs of Malton's criminals, including the infamous Steven "Cutty" Smith, Andrei "Molotov" Vyborg, and the Red Death gang. A few years before the Outbreak the DEM decommissioned the prison complex and turned it into Police Departments, Fire Stations, a Hospital and a Necrotech Clinic to serve the local area in times of emergency. Rumour has it that several dangerous inmates and their thugs still roam the area from the Wilcox Hotel, taking out their rage on the undead corpses of those who held them prisoner.

Shackleville has always been an entertainment hotspot. There was once a thriving club scene including the Good Tastes of Club Cummings, the budget disco Club Goodenough, and the infamous Rave venue, Club Vicary. The suburb also houses one of the most opulent cinemas in Malton, Macaulay Cinema, founded by the parents of a famous child actor, as well as a venue for art-house and foreign film, the Maybe? Cinema. The Clubs of Shakleville were all owned by the Shadows family which were rumoured to have connections with the Malton Mob. The southern half of the suburb is now almost always protected or being reclaimed, under the vigilant eye of the mysterious Fortress, who arrived after the fiasco at Pitman Mansion. Some even go as far to say that The Fortress' collaborations with the other survivor groups are the area's answer to the Ridleybank Resistance Front. The zombies seem to think so too, as they plan much more diligently when trying to invade, which almost always results in seemingly eternal warfare between the various groups of the survivors and the RRF.

Revive Point

Revives are currently being performed at Swaffield Plaza [55,67]; would-be revivees are asked to post requests to the DEM's revive request manager. Survivors are asked not to shoot zombies at this point, and also to respect the Sacred Ground Policy.

"V.I.P." Revives are also being handled at the cemetary [57-65]; zombies seeking assistance must be able to show proper Fortress identification.

The Shackleville Barricade Plan was originaly created and proposed by Capt. Brian McStay of MFD using the Uniform Barricading Policy, recommendations of the Malton Fire Department and comments from the community in June of 2006. All survivors are urged to assist the MFD and its allies in ensuring that barricades remain at designated levels. Do not overbarricade! The life you save may be your own.
