#'''Kill''' So... If I died in the middle of Dulston, or Ridleybank, or any of the other dead zones where a revive is about as common as a clear and concise wiki entry, I would wander around aimlessly until I created a new character (or quit entirely) out of shear frustration? #'''Kill''' - Afraid that you've hit several areas most players consider pretty much Sacrilege; particularly moving characters against the player's will and NPCs. #'''Kill''' - I like the idea of survivors 'turning', but I don't think this is the way to do it.  It's hard enough as a newer survivor to wait and wait in the hopes you might be revived whilst Zombies (who hopelessly outnumber and outpower you anyway) pillage 99% of the neighborhoods, without being unable to control where you end up.  Plus, many of us would like to explore Dual Nature, I'd imagine.  By the way, what's with all the immature comments in the "Spam" section below? Half of them clearly didn't read the whole suggestion, the other half seem to just want to whine.  It's sad that people have to be total asshats rather than discuss a topic (pos or negative) and perhaps educate suggesters in the future. --[[User:Ravenium|Ravenium]] 07:18, 17 February 2010 (UTC)

'''Spam''' - Absolutely ridiculous. A survivor gets killed and they suddenly lose control of their characters until someone else revives them? Talk about a disincentive to ever play the game again. 20100216 Clearly defined zombie and survivor boundaries

--Bosqo 19:34, 16 February 2010 (UTC)

Suggestion type
Balance

Suggestion scope
Survivors and Zombies

Suggestion description
Currently, when a survivor gets infected he becomes a zombie but he can do as he pleases. This is not true to the genre. A dead survivor can get up and assist his allies or move and continue his plans while expecting to be revived. This discrepancy further blurs the lines between zed and survivor. Turning survivors into zeds does nothing for the zed population, it doesn't grow their ranks or cause chaos to ensue. I suggest that survivors who have recently been turned should be in an uncontrollable state. During this time the player is essentially an NPC who randomly destroys anything within his proximity including attacking and infecting his friends. The player can still be revived. This makes an infected survivor an actual danger to others, it also stays more true to the genre and it would balance things out.
