historical group

yeah all we need is two thirds of the group. so on monday in modern, we'll talk about this so we can all vote. should get it easy.

someone who has good contact with the beavers should let them all know that this will be up for voting.

--MichaelRead 15:41, 26 October 2007 (BST)

On Monday after modern, I will inform the Beavers and persuade them to vote. I'll also send out a notice newsletter-esque message to all the BBK members. DanceDanceRevolution 15:21, 27 October 2007 (BST)

Disbanding BBK

Okay, so because the BBK has dropped over 20 members in a week, it is safe to say the BBK will end. Hopefully sooner rather than later. By the end of the week, hopefully I will have gotten Nick's support to disband the BBK and officially finish the group off, it will be labeled as a historical group or whatever goes on in this wiki, and the remaining members will, of course, get a choice to go freelance, join a remaining group, or join one of the groups that have spawned from the BBK. These were the wishes of J3D before he left, and its also what Nallan wants.

I don't want to make any monotonous speeches about why the reform failed and why, as Michael basically hit it on the head in the speech below me. All I will say is everything in the last month could have ended up anywhere, everything, good or bad could have been prevented, and it was just a shame that everyone lost out on the opportunities, and this is for the reformists, leaders, members, and the people that benefited from our synergy, the citizens of Santlerville and the surrounding groups. The disputes we had during said period do not change the fact that we once were one and we only wanted what was best in the end.

If anyone asks why the BBK is ending, it's as simple as this. So it seems ironic that this is the best thing for the group. But the major political AND practical workhorses are gone, including Nallan, J3D and Read, and without them, absolutely nothing has gone on in the last week or so. And without a leader, the BBK is just going to be a headless group in which there are now only 11 members, most of which aren't in Santlerville. So in essence the future BBK would alternatively be a useless, inactive force. This is pointless when, in contrast, the past powerhouses of the BBK have since made their own promising groups.

So in the end there is no more Beatbox Kids. It has to be said, in the future, when we either tire of waging war on each other, the BBK might be reborn, either as the same group, or one strongly tied to it's origins. Who knows? when we return from our groups we may have a following and will be able to give more powerful potential to the BBK's force.

But in the meantime, the BBK has officially disband at this notice. I'm sorry if no one thinks I should be doing this, considering I was the first member to leave the BBK, but I've been interested in the outcome of the BBK the whole time I have stayed away from the official activity.

So in conclusion, the remaining members have the following choices of groups that have spawned from the BBK. Hopefully, in the BBK spirit, you will join one of these groups. If you don't, thats fine. Here are some of the groups available to the remaining BBK members.

The Groups

These have spawned from the BBK and the members inside it. any BBK or ex-BBK member can edit their own group description OR add their own group

The Revolution

The PK group formed to incite fear into BBK members' hearts and souls, among other things. Founded by ex-BBK veteran Scurley7, essentially the group includes the hunting down and fighting of ex-BBK members like the following group.

If you want to become a part of the Revolution, tell Scurley7 or put The Revolution in your group name.

Spice girls

edited by MichaelRead, from DDR's original

The Spice girls are a group that has spawned from the BBK.

Sorry guys, but for us, recruiting is not an option.....unless you can come up with a new character and idea for a new spice girl that we deem trendy enough to join us. haha,

  • Posh Spice is Dandy.
  • Sporty Spice is GomerPyle41
  • Ginger Spice is myself, MichalRead
  • Baby Spice belongs to the ever pretty Nallan
  • Scary Spice belongs to Luke, MrHubertcumberdale

and there is ideas in the mix (strongly approved by Tim) for Wilsonzmb918 to become a new Spice Girls member, Asian Spice.

If you want to become part of the Spice Girls, think up a good character that we will laugh at. You may ask any of our members.

Basically our objectives are unkown yet. But we will most surely PK. Whom? we do not know. But we do know that every death will be followed by a relevant spice girls comment. Every radio station may hear our magical voices. And Posh spice has already shottied being a Malton Street hooker.--MichaelRead 15:37, 26 October 2007 (BST)

I don't think new members is a good idea. It would wreck it. Like 2 Cool having 3 members...i mean 3 Cool? That ain't cool. Ya know what i mean?--Jed 05:39, 1 November 2007 (UTC)
We like the idea but. xo --MichaelRead 10:45, 5 November 2007 (UTC)
eh, fair enough then. You guys are still way hotter then M2M --Jed 11:04, 5 November 2007 (UTC)

The Allied Travellers Organisation

With a good fraction of the BBK now in the Allied Travellers Organisation, the ATO may well be the spiritual successor to the BBK for the time being.

Founded by DanceDanceRevolution, The ATO is basically about free travelling and meeting new people, going new places and doing new things. 8 BBK members are already in the group and the group has grown double then since it was established a week or so ago. We have a long term log, where all members are encouraged to help log every suburb and have their name heard in the rest of the community. If you loved just travelling around or doing whatever you want without worrying about group affairs, the ATO is a good group for you.

If you want to become part of the ATO, just put Allied Travellers Organisation in your group name.

Other good groups members could join

These are accomplished groups I have found on my travels and I find them very cool.

Thanks everyone for reading this. Let's hope for a BBK revival in the future eh?

EDIT: and I have edited the BBK wiki to suit it as a discontinued group. I have reverted the members list to what it was before everyone left. It is the trend in discontinuing groups. DDR 12:50, 26 October 2007 (BST)

DanceDanceRevolution 12:41, 26 October 2007 (BST)

very well said.

and in my heart, and in my head. a bbk revival seems likely.

but for now, i think it would be nice to explore our other options in the game.

Inspirational Speech/Departing Members

After many lengthy discussions on the wiki with some members, we have decided that the BBK sinking fast. Rather than stay on and ruin the legacy that we have forged in Santlerville and the surrounding suburbs, we have decided that it is time to say goodbye to the BBK. There was a time in the past few days where the idea of a reform was strong in our minds and seemed the right idea. However, with the recent retirements of Scurley7 and DDR we now see that 90% of the BBK really did not contribute at all. The BBK was all about pride in your name and standing by your brothers. It is no surprise that the actions of Scurley7 and DDR have sent the BBK to a loss for both direction and contribution.

Members like GomerPyle41, who has campaigned for the reform in recent days, I salute you. You are and were the heart of the BBK. However, upon seeing that nobody has bothered to read even the posts by Scurley7 and DDR, I see no chance for the reform to be effective. In all seriousness, there is now about 8 BBK members who are actually willing to be active. To me, this is not enough to achieve what we want to achieve.

I would like to thank Nallan, J3D and DDR for their massive contributions to the BBK. Who would have guessed that exceeding recruitment expectations, precise and perfect leadership, constant information through newsletters and wiki articles as well as the odd organized UDconvo would have led to the demise of the BBK, rather than reaching its potential? Nobody could. You did what we all wanted and what we all voted for. Maybe we just overshot ourselves, thinking our group was more active than it actually was.

So, after saying my thanks for the last few months of this game, I am now officially stating my retirement and posting a section where other members who dont have much more to say, can follow suit.

Thank you to every member of the BBK who knew and believed that the words Beatbox Kids meant more than just a cool title at school (lol) or a name to shove in the group area.

Beatbox Kids, youve done Santlerville Proud. I move the BBK to be in historical groups, if anyone important reads this.

Now, I push that the BBK be put to rest to keep the name and reputation we created as solid as it ever was. Maybe one day we will go back. Heck, it might even be a week or two knowing us. But for now, we need to put the BBK down for a while and explore new avenues. I'm not telling anyone what to do, I am just giving a suggestion.

Thankyou for your time.

BBK Contribution

With the departure of two of our senior members, things to do with the BBK reform must begin to take shape, and take shape now. To do this i propose that all BBKs eagar to be part of the decision making process (in regards to moving from santlerville and if so, to which suburb for now but also further discussions about the groups progress as a whole) state below their stance: please state (along with your name/signature)either

Abstained ;Meaning you want no part in the discussion, but are willing to go along with the concesnsus of the discussion participants.

or

Interested ;Meaning you want your opinion to contribute in the tough decisions ahead regarding the future of the BBK

please note this is not a means of removing democracy, and everyones right to be heard amongst the group, just a time saving method in order to get this reform under way asap

If you do not have a wiki account then MAKE ONE or at least get in contact with someone who does and ask them to attatch your name to either statement.

thank you for your time, --GomerPyle41 11:41, 16 October 2007 (BST)

The Revolution

Ok guys. Basically nothing is happening. The reform has crumbled. The only person who seems keen to see this thing through is DDR and he just retired, and honestly he is the best thing to happen to the BBK in ages. Seems like a bit of a waste to me. So in response to this, I have left the BBK. I have begun the Revolution. I doubt that I will have many followers, but hopefully the people who really pushed for this change will join me. I have no idea yet as to how this new group will operate, or even where, but hopefully we will be able to spice things up a bit for the remaining BBK.

Thankyou and Goodnight. --Scurley7 09:31, 16 October 2007 (BST)

Retirement

Well, In the expectation that there will be some change around in the BBK soon, I have decided to get the bandwagon going, because I don't think much has happened officially. So, as of this moment, I am no longer a member of the BBK, I renounce my position as leader and whether Nallan and J3D follow suit anytime soon, I just want everybody to know that it is in the interest of the progression of the reform and not because of spite, disagreement or change of interest.

As a leaving speech I would like to congratulate the BBK for everything they have become before, during, and after my presence and thank the people that voted for me and entrusted me with the leadership position of the BBK. I would also like to thank most of all Nallan, on and off the grounds of the game UD, for always being there to support my opinions and roles and always offer guidance and his amazing experience to the game and our decisions as leader.

I have taken myself off the leadership table on the BBK article page and my group name but have put a new picture up there just in case any of the BBK members want a fresh picture. I know it isn't really as good as the last one so feel free to change it back.

I would also like to thank FATCHICK for not shunning me when I stole half your revolutionary ideas you implemented into the BBK.

Thanks to everyone,

DanceDanceRevolution 09:01, 16 October 2007 (BST)

In Response to the BBK Reform

Okay, so I am convinced that this reform can't be too bad for the group and in time the group could only gain. As a whole, it gains my acceptance and support. I'm not too sure about J3D or Nallan, but I give my acceptance to the moving of the BBK and the abolishment of the leaders.

I'm publicly sorry for the people I may have offended with my erratic behavior in finding out more about the Reform. Thank you everyone. DanceDanceRevolution 14:10, 13 October 2007 (BST)

BBK Reform

First of all, and certainly the most importand thing about all of this is that The Beatbox Kids, Santlerville and basically Urban Dead has become boring. The same process of log on, read all the spam from a bunch of wankers, kill a zombie, spray over Finis' crap, revive a fellow member who decided in their infinite wisdom to sleep outside then log off, has become so monotonous and unfullfilling that several BBK members are considering revolt. I'm not talking about one or two disgruntled members. I'm talking about a serious number of veteran players pretty pissed off at how things are going.

So here's my proposal and it's one that I believe will be extremely beneficial to the BBK.

1. Abolish the policy of having leaders.

No offence to Nick, Charlie or Jed, but this idea of having leaders simply isn't working. The problem is that everyone wants a say, which they are entitiled to. The idea was to have leaders that would decide on issues that could not normally be resolved, or have big discussions about what the group would do next. You guys haven't done this. I'm not saying anyone else could have done a better job. To me it seems that you guys simply do what you want then invite people to tag along, rather than having a discussion about whether or not the group should be involved at all. Instead I propose we simply go back to our previous system, one thats more based on communism rather than on democracy. Everyone should have an equal say into what the group does, and how the group behaves. If something cannot be decided then perhaps some sort of panel of veterans could decide. I think this would run much more smoothly, there would be greater group participation and a more content group.

2. Leave Santlerville.

However many screams of "NOOOOO" and other examples of anguish that may exit the mouths of some members, it must be admitted that Santlerville is now simply holding us back. We are a strong, relatively large group, capable of doing great things. The only problem is that we will forever lie in the shadow of the Beavers. No matter what happens in Santlerville, however much effort we make, the Beavers will always get the credit. Why? Because they are already too well known, too long established as the leaders of Santlerville. We are simply a Beavers puppet. One that dances to their tune. If we are to make ourselves known as a strong, effective force then we need to break free, to commit ourselves to our own goals. From that, I propose we leave Santlerville to a suburb with no strong group and we provide a backbone. We become that group everyone wants to be like or be a part of. For the BBK to advance, we need to leave Santlerville.

3. Specific Member Occupations

Have you ever seen a successful pro-survivor group where every player simply runs around doing whatever the hell they want? NO. This is exactly what we're doing. We have no effective organisation within the BBK. Sure, we have leaders, but at the moment there is no discussion whatsoever as to make the BBK an effective organised force to be reckoned with. At the moment we may as well just be a bunch of random guys running around doing whatever the hell they want who just happen to have group name. So what I'm proposing is that specific members volunteer for specific jobs. Someone who really doesnt get into UD all that much can be a stationary reviver, minimum work which is extremely valuable to the group. Another person who enjoys doing the different sorts of acivities could pick up the odds and ends such as fuel and gennies. You get what I'm saying. The character class you chose in the beginning of the game is a good indicator of how you want to play the game. If you chose Private, you like shooting zombies, so therefore you can be the people who clear buildings. If you chose Doctor, you're prepared and willing to heal people. All we need to do is get our members to take on these specific roles and stick to them. Another add-on to this is that only lvl 41 characters take on jobs. When we realise there is a gap within our system, a person who just reached 41 can fill that gap. What I'm trying to say is that we need better organisation if we are to be an effective survivor group.

4. BBK Police

Have you ever seen someone within the BBK being a total fuckit to other survivors or other members? Ever known anothermember to cheat? Had some random join the group without permission? That is what the BBK police are for. If you see something, report it, and our Police will hunt them down. Small infringements will recieve small punishment. For example, I overbarricade some place, Nick sees me, tells Read who comes along and demands that I go to an extremely public building ad admit that I do some dsgusting act, probably involving gay sex. If I refuse, he kills me. Greater offences, such as Pking without the general approval of the group, will simply be punished with execution. Through this, we seperate the dedicated from the dipshits. People who don't approve of the policing obviously put themselves ahead of the BBK and as such are not wanted. Repeat offenders may be kicked out the BBK and put on the Hit List. What this is aimed at is removing the dead weight from the BBK, get rid of people that tarnish our reputation as a group. Plus, it would be quite amusing to see someone admit they like penis in their arse.

Those are the proposals for a BBK Reform. I hope that they are met with approval by the group, as they are in the best interests of the BBK. I'd hate to see what would happen if they were rejected. I want to see the BBK as a strong group, an effective group, not one torn apart by disgruntled members. Hopefully these reforms will achieve this. Thanks for reading this guys and I hope that in the future, the BBK will continue to kick arse.--Scurley7 00:53, 13 October 2007 (BST)

yes, I am one of the disgruntled members. I do agree with most of this. We need to move forward, and at the moment we are kissing the ass of the beavers. Yes, they may deserve the respect we give. But do we really need to follow them as much as we do?....I think not.

To me, it is not fun being a nobody anymore. I know this is the case for a lot of the original crew, and some of the newbies like myself.

I dont want to say the leaders have failed by doing this, because I dont believe anyone could have done the job right. But, i guess the fact of the matter however, is that the leaders HAVE failed in doing what was asked of them. To repeat myself, I am not naming names, I am simply stating that the BBK obviously does not work with the 3 leaders we have at the moment, and . that i dont see it getting any easier with an introduction of new leaders. We need reform, we need a breath of fresh air and a new life amongst the BBK.

Reform needs to be discussed. In my opinion, the leaders are responsible for uniting the group to discuss the idea of reformation. If they do not do this, then they are deemed to be not doing what they were voted in to do. From an inside tip, failure to bring some sort of organisation to the revolt idea, be it discussion or a wiki segment, will most likely result in something that is far worse. A civil war.

The leaders were elected to lead and organize. To help everyone in the Beatbox Kids. Well, here I am, a Beatbox Kid, with a request that you organize a discussion of reformation.

Thankyou.--MichaelRead 11:33, 13 October 2007 (BST)

Finis, the epic asshat

Good day, BBK. I thought you'd find this piece of information amusing. Our good friend Finis will occasionally email me with vague threats, put downs, etc. He likes to question my sexuality and my mother's weight. (::Rolls eyes::) I often take it in good stride with a chuckle, but it was getting a little tiresome. I set up a spam filter. He continued.

So I obtained his IP address and forwarded his thirty or so harassing emails to his mail provider (complete with headers, as required). Here's a fragment of the response I just received:

Hello,

Thank you for writing to [Finis' ISP]

It is a violation of [Finis' ISP] Terms of Service (TOS) to send threatening or harassing email.

In this particular case, we have taken appropriate and severe action against the account in question, as per our Terms of Service (TOS).

Your patience during this process is greatly appreciated. We apologize for your ordeal.

Please feel free to contact us in the future if your experience further difficulties.

Thank you again for contacting us.

I don't know if he fucks about with you too, but feel free to report the asshat if he does. Oh, and Finis when you read this, it was me. I hope you didn't have any important information in your email archive. Heh. --Adrian Jeshua EN | T 21:15, 25 September 2007 (BST)

haha you're right, I do find that amusing. I don't think we receive anythign from Finis actually...apart from a ridiculous amount of false applications. good to see you guys back on the finis trail, he hasn't received a good smashing in a while.--GomerPyle41 07:43, 26 September 2007 (BST)
Is Finis still around? A quick look at his contributions on the wiki reveal he hasn't been active here for over a week. It'd be a shame if he's left. My main character in-game is a bit busy at the moment, but I have an alt that I want to turn Bounty Hunter, so I was thinking of rolling over to S'ville and seeing if I could get Finis before the pavement did...--Bob Fortune RR 12:30, 26 September 2007 (BST)
He heard Kevan was doing IP checks in Santlerville and stopped playing for the week, lest his zerg army be discovered. DanceDanceRevolution 01:29, 2 October 2007 (BST)

Some little bird with a password told me so. And you can check the picture in the second guy by following through it only movie. But it seems that was a typo, and that guy real name is Tim Abell. I didn't, im assuming it was evdaddio seeing as tho he is the one constantly in my account etc. You must be really sad if youve spent time constantly searching the net trying to put a face to the name.--GomerPyle41 02:23, 13 October 2007 (BST)
i am not sad, just bored. You are not fun to play around with, GomerPyle, so i'll just stop trying to be nice with you guys and just follow my agenda of taking a little password for a walk around ridleybank, or old arkham. --People's Commissar Hagnat [cloned] [mod] 09:07, 13 October 2007 (BST)

Ah, we're not all old and grumpy like Gomer here, Haggy. Oh well. Maybe I'll see you around the city on my holiday. I'm sure a certain person will miss the old password especially. I guess he'll have to use one of his other alts to do it...--Nick 10:24, 13 October 2007 (BST)

old and grumpy ? he seems more like a kid who thinks saying other people suck dick is an awesome offense. Anyway, as long as he sign under the name of the beatbox kids, i am taking his actions as those the beatbox kids would take... and among them is zerging, offending people who are merely trying to play around with you, and being jackasses. Saw him - or someone with a very similar name - yesterday in St. Emelia's. My new guy infected and dragged him out into the street. No idea if he got killed or not. There sure is a lot of zerging going on in Santlerville. --Goolina Gore Corps 06:28, 19 July 2007 (BST)
Seriously. I know you guys like survivors and all but you need to make it clear certain types of players aren't wanted and the only way I can see that is killing them until they leave. If you guys see someone posting LUE insults or RRF insults shoot them, people there just to hassle the BBK shoot them, hell you don't even need to kill them just shoot them a lot. Anyone killing someone needs to be shot and so on. Make them waste tons of AP but keep it so you don't waste revive AP on them. Sepcially the zergers. Don't let Santlerville become like Caiger.--Karekmaps?! 10:09, 19 July 2007 (BST)

PKED

One of your guys pk'ed me, saying I killed one of your members. I demand to see the screenshot. I don't kill survivors.--Raja Ram 13:17, 26 July 2007 (BST)

I heard about this today from Tim (the guy that killed you). He claimed you killed him and he was getting you back. I've asked him via email for a screenshot. He'll get in touch with you here within the next few hours. Obviously there's been some sort of confusion here as to what happened - either on his or your part - maybe someone pressed the wrong button or misread their screen... I'll let you two sort this out, just letting you know it's being taken care of in a peaceful way. Thanks for contacting us.--Nallan 07:19, 27 July 2007 (BST)
OK he sent me the screenshot. So what gives?--Nallan 08:38, 27 July 2007 (BST)

nick, you burned him. for trying to get his way out of pking, can we form a vendetta. please? lovex--Sexylegsread 11:36, 7 August 2007 (BST)

Oh I don't see why not... you little scallywag. I can't refuse you. He's openly a PKer now so I'll add him to the hitlist.--Nallan 12:29, 7 August 2007 (BST)

Observed TKing multiple survivors at Rawkins row Police station. Their comment were:
pedrosanpedro said "this PD belongs to the beatbox kids - so beat it!!" (3 hours and 5 minutes ago)
Jonathan Awlais Cade said "We are who we are, and its time to get off our turf
Beatbox Kids should be classified as PK group.
--Paalrh 06:00, 15 July 2007 (BST)

These people are not members of the Beatbox Kids.
We have never even come into contact with either of these characters so this is a very surprising issue
you have brought up. I could only assume they are possible zerg characters of our enemies, Michae Joshua
is another claiming to be a BBK member so yer...Rawkins Row, why would we even claim that we basically
never visit pashenton, this is ridiculous.--GomerPyle41 08:41, 15 July 2007 (BST)
Only people listed on our members list are in the BBK. These guys are impersonators (probably hired by/alts of Finis). We're not PKers. We have a very good history on UD. The Beavers will back us on this.--Nallan 11:14, 15 July 2007 (BST)

I witnessed even more of this recently at the same PD; different pkers, though. [1] [2] [3] --Tracer Bullet 17:09, 16 July 2007 (BST)

Can we get a screenshot of these characters doing this please? I need proof of the event if they're to remain on the hitlist. Some of them have changed their group names from Beatbox Kids to other things so I really can't keep them on the hitlist without the screenshot. Thanks.--Nallan 02:45, 23 July 2007 (BST)

I am a new member. people in real life call me Charlie. I came here and I am ready to dance my way around zombies

Nice one Charlie. Just remember to sign your posts - people get real agitated if you don't. It's just helpful to know who posted and when. Press the squiggly line button at the top of the window to enter your signature. Cya around Malton. And in real life.--Nallan 09:33, 24 July 2007 (BST)

BBK Leadership Election Results

The results for the new 3 leaders of the BBK are [almost] in. With 10 and 8 Votes, Nallan and DDR it seems are going to be 2 of the 3 leaders of the BBK. Because of the many people with 3 votes, we can either have a new restricted election with these people in it, or have the 2 new leaders decide which of the BBK elected members with 3 votes will be the 3rd leader.

Discuss. DanceDanceRevolution 09:41, 10 September 2007 (BST)

I am a fan of an election, only because it will stop people from crying dictatorship. I would be happy with whatever you choose to do, actually, as i am sure the two of you would make the best decision possible. I voted for both of you because i had full faith in your decision making. Thats what a democratic vote is for. Some of us may not like our garden gnome of a PM, but we still abide by ( most ) of his rulings.
Thats democracy, people.
Anyway, I have full faith that if you two chose the next person, they would be the right person.
But still, for the people who don't seem to want to follow you yet, a vote would probably make them happy.
After all, can't we all just get along?
so my vote, is for a vote. But only because i believe that if one person is chosen, then that person may be not taken as seriously by :any members who didn't want them to be in the leadership group.
wow big post, and i hope it made sense. thanks--MichaelRead 13:57, 10 September 2007 (BST)

ps, sorry charlie for ending that convo so abruptly. My msn decided it wanted to close. Then i decided i wanted to study. Then i got distracted by the wiki.--MichaelRead 14:00, 10 September 2007 (BST)

A revote would be fun....but in order to avoid evans getting elected its probably a dangerous idea. Because we all know democracy doesn't work. --J3D 09:08, 11 September 2007 (BST)

MANHUNT

Well it looks as if a few of our bigger names have bitten the dust early on in the hunt. ive seen a few carcasses laying around santlerville n its surroundings including
Nallan at the hands of J3D
Philip the Pole Man at the hands of Wilsonzmb918
MichaelRead ??????
omegabeetron at the hands of GomerPyle41

Master Lo (dont know if this had anything to do with the Manhunt)

as well as barely escaping the clutches of several other bbks was
FATCHICK who was reportedly injured down to 10hp (EDIT: Nah he/she was Killed by Butch Jerkins) .
smokerjoker whos' known incompetence led me to leave him be and destroy omegabeetron instead
Evdaddio2 who unknowingly fled an oncoming attack from wilsonzmb918
let's keep the kills coming.
information is known as to where several characters currently sleep but i wont be slack n post them here.
good luck team.--GomerPyle41 03:15, 22 September 2007 (BST)

Well, i lasted a total of 40 minutes. i was killed by DDR. --Shakey60 06:23, 22 September 2007 (BST)

guys, i did not know about this tbh.

ive been at work experience every night and day since monday. i reckon it should be rescheduled. however, i was killed in the dark hours of last night at around 10 pm or something. i have a screen shot to prove it. by some zombie called.....jordan something. so, since i have not been killed in the allotted time....but i am still a zombie...therefore i am not alive at this point....am i still in this competition? i think this should be re organized, with people nominating themselves for the manhunt on this page. then theres no pathetic excuses like mine...haha. however, if someone wants to revive me and not immediately kill me, thatd be sweet, so i can join this thing, albeit a day late. my death aint part of this manhunt so im still in it. also guys, i dont think we can count deaths until the screenshot is posted. yes? sexylegs, out.--MichaelRead 07:07, 22 September 2007 (BST)

just knocked off wilsonzmb918, what do we do about the screenshots? just stick them on this page or what?--Evieman 07:34, 22 September 2007 (BST)
yeah i didn't find out until last night so i had 0 ammo or FAKs' but it's still going alright.
just stand up read no1 wouldve killed u yet anyway we found much funnier targets.
get to st emelias n someone will revive u...im too far away....or am i...... haha.
shakey you suck--GomerPyle41 07:29, 22 September 2007 (BST)

meh quit whining read. your not in it...otherwise you could just stay dead to tomorrow...--J3D 07:56, 22 September 2007 (BST) I killed Jabuti and Shakey at 12:30pm the night it started. I wanted to get first blood. post the screens here. keep them coming guys. DanceDanceRevolution 07:58, 22 September 2007 (BST)

Zerging?

Does anyone know who started the rumor that we are a bunch of zergers and why?--Edward Grengle 15:53, 23 September 2007 (BST)

Yes, Finis Valorum started that rumour. It was because Jordan (beatboxer) is frequently at Tim's (Gomerpyle) house and used the wiki from Tim's pc (I think he may have even created the beatboxer account from Tim's computer). A sysop noticed that the two accounts had the same IP address and flagged them as clone accounts. That's Finis' basis for calling us zergers, even though it is a wiki-related issue and not game-related. Just dismiss these rumours, they are the spiel of an immature and spiteful outcast of Santlerville and the Urban Dead community. All I ask is that any BBK members go over any of the crap they see written about us, as new players may take it seriously.
Oh and Jordan has decided to change characters and have a new character in the BBK because of all this crap.--Nick 09:16, 24 September 2007 (BST)

In fact, im pretty sure it is not even a rumour, and that it is just Finis and his army of alts. He uses them to spraypaint propaganda about us, in hope that people will beleive it. But the thing is, hes been such an asshat to so many people in santlerville, that they all know hes not worth listening to. One visit to his wiki page and people can see it would be entirely him. We just ignore him, because thats the best thing. Plus, everyone else does it.--MichaelRead 13:01, 24 September 2007 (BST)
I've seen two people in the same block with the same name (different numbers on the end) and they were both with beatbox kids. But if there is some retard with alts fucking around with you, that was probably it.--Wooty 16:48, 27 September 2007 (BST)

IMPORTANT: Election for new leaders of BBK

OK so here are the rules guys. You have exactly 24 hours to nominate one BBK member. Ask around tomorrow, if someone wants in nominate them yourself. Nomination doesn't count as a vote. After the 24 hours is up, I will give the weekend to allow 2 votes from every person. ALL VOTES MUST BE TIMESTAMPED, or I will not count them.

  • Nominate anyone, but be decent in judgment of maturity and experience
  • Be vigilant in who you want to vote for, don't throw it away.
  • due to popular demand, Tim is not allowed to be elected for this position. Sorry Tim.

Nominated Peoples

I think it is best if you nominate the people and timestamp your name after don't nominate the same person twice. leave it for the votes

Vote Snifi!

Hello again Beatboxers! First of all, may I say well done on being the collective bigger man, and refusing to sink to Snifi Valorum's continued level of dipstickitude. I too have realised that he's better left well alone. However, wouldn't it be a nice final gesture to help him win a prize? Taking into account the votes here, on Brainstock, and on the Mighty Rum's website; Snifi has a slender overall lead. (Way ahead of me - sigh). I think it'd be a nice recognition of his unique approach to playing UD. Anyway, must dash. If I hope to win the award next year, I've got to practice falling out of windows... --Bob Fortune RR 20:27, 18 September 2007 (BST)

I already nominated him for the James Earl James Biggest Douche award for next year. I think he has it in him to win both...--Nick 06:49, 19 September 2007 (BST)
I agree. If someone devotes their life to being a total plonker, it's nice for them to get some recognition. A quick tally today has revealed that Snifi currently holds a 7 vote lead over his nearest challenger with one day of voting to go. It might be time for him to write his awards speech, maybe thanking all the varmints that have been disrespestin him...--Bob Fortune RR 12:19, 19 September 2007 (BST)

Hi guys. I was in S'ville recently, saw Finis defenestrate to avoid being killed then revive himself with his rezbot. What a divvy. He gives all PKers a bad name. I kind of altered his "Finis Rulz" template on my user page, if any of you like it or want to make it into a proper template then feel free - I don't know how to do it :-) --Bob Fortune RR 19:56, 8 September 2007 (BST)

Haha nice template, I love it. We want nothing more to do with Finis, but one of the BBKs will be happy to help you out with making it more proper (I don't know how to do it either). I'll see if DDR will get onto it for you, but only if you read his travelogue and comment him on it! Whilst I'm here promoting travelogues, check out FATCHICK's one as well.--Nallan 06:51, 9 September 2007 (BST)

Penny Residents

I'm not going to post on the Penny talk page until this Colonel goes away for a bit. He is a bit of an r-tard and fairly stubborn. However I would love it if one of us could say some more on that subject because he does not deserve to have the last word. He is just ranting now, so somebody put him in his place. I'm just refraining because it is always me who does it haha.--MichaelRead 06:55, 6 March 2008 (UTC)

Oh we just tried to work out some new RP plan for Penny Heights considering the current one sucks a massive amount of cock. We only put up a proposal and then they are all getting super defensive about us. I'm just getting to cut at their stupidity so i'm stopping talking before i say too much dumb shit. It's on the penny talk page.--MichaelRead 08:31, 6 March 2008 (UTC)

Sig

Once the BBK is fully up and running again, we will have a lot of important information on our page, just like last time. In order to increase traffic to our page, we should all have a BBK sig after our name when we post on this wiki. Revives

Hey guys. I'll be doing daily revives within Dunlap Bank, a current indoor RP. I'm on every night and if its especially urgent you can email me or tell me in person or whatever. I can switch to the Junkyard if that gets up and running. I'm going to be a dedicated reviver/healer. Sweet--Scurley7 12:16, 28 February 2008 (UTC)

Like I said, I don't think that indoor RP is actually operational atm. I was there yesterday and the cades were at EHB and three people were inside. It's not listed on the suburb page either. Maybe just run revives at one of the three outdoor ones until we get some feedback on the suburb page?--Nick 04:21, 29 February 2008 (UTC)
DO NOT ACCEPT REVIVES FROM SCURLEY7. HE HAS HEPATITIS C AND WILL TRANSMIT IT TO YOU IF YOU USE HIS SYRINGES. RUN FAR AWAY FROM SCURLEY7.--MichaelRead 09:20, 29 February 2008 (UTC)
While on the subject of revives, be on the look out for RRF members. There were a few that were aced in the mall over the last day, and one broke into Dunlap Bank and was trashing the place up.--Max Briggs 05:14, 1 March 2008 (UTC)

Penny Briggade

Greetings BBK. I'm Max Briggs, leader of the Penny Briggade. The Penny Briggade is a small pro-survivor group based out of Penny Heights. I've been operating out of the heights for a few weeks and doing my best to keep survivors alive and healed/revived, as well as lending a hand in the zombie killing. The Penny Briggade is small, but in times like these every gun is useful. I look forward to working with you guys in the future. Drop by my talk page if anyone needs a revive, or if you'd like to coordinate an attack of some kind. My email is loadedar15@yahoo.com. Happy shooting! --Max Briggs 03:10, 28 February 2008 (UTC)

Welcome to the Heights

On behalf of UD Fark, I would like to extend a hand of welcome to our humble 'burb. We have a strong survivor base here and are always glad to have another group in the mix. After the BB2 passed through, the Heights rebounded swiftly.. only to find ourselves with a Feral Undead infestation. So there is a little bit of shootin' for those with itchy trigger fingers. We have recently opened an embassy service to other groups for socializing and coordination, which can be found here. Post an introduction in the Malton Neighborhood Watch section and we will get you masked for the common area. We will also set you guys up with a "pub" for private communications directly with Farkers. Hope to hear from you soon, and again, welcome! Ninja4hire 09:31, 24 February 2008 (UTC)

I am not sure why your group keeps PK'ing me, but it is really pissing me off. I have already submitted Sir'Pom and omegabeetron to the Rogues Gallery. Please leave me the fuck alone. I haven't done anything to bother you. In fact, I am a rather productive member of the UD society. I am currently working in the Fort Creedy area, trying to regain control. I am not sure why your group has its sights set on me, but, seriously, leave me alone. --Sic Re Mortem 03:53, 6 June 2008 (BST)
It is referred to as the UD community, not society. And we should be the ones who are insulted that you left this on our page. DanceDanceRevolution 06:09, 6 June 2008 (BST)
Community, society, who gives a fuck?! Pull your head out of your ass and get a life. And why should you be insulted? This wouldn't be happening if your group hadn't sent members to PK me for no reason at all. The Beatbox Kids are just a bunch of douchebags...--Sic Re Mortem 16:17, 6 June 2008 (BST)
Well then it is you here, begging a group of 'douchebags' to stop PKing you. It is YOU who are the one asking us to stop, so why are you trying to be so ridiculously tough? Now I am questioning myself as to why I didn't PK you countless times. You are making an arsehole of yourself, so keep the language down and regain some dignity. How ridiculous. DanceDanceRevolution 16:28, 6 June 2008 (BST)
I do not understand why you are being so rude. I am not begging, I am asking. I am not trying to be "so ridiculously tough"... I honestly do not understand why you are being such a dick. What reason would you have had to PK me? WHAT HAVE I DONE TO YOU???--Sic Re Mortem 18:54, 6 June 2008 (BST)
Well, around three months ago, you PK'ed one of our members (That means player killing, k?). One of our more active players noted this, and before placing you on our list of enemies, decided to contact you, nicely, to ask you why you had done this and if it were possible for us to sort this out without turning it into something stupid. Now, assuming you had a sense of humour (actually, I didn't, I fully predicted that you were another Finis) I wrote a little message using the words "u" "r" and "gai".
From these few exchanges, I and the rest of the BBK can now see that you take things to heart a little too much. I still believe you are a PKing bitch and you are trying to come on here and sound like you aren't, but thats ok, we are used to those characteristics in players like you. The rogues gallery is irrelevant, really, so don't try and act tough, when it is obvious that you are twelve years old.
In short, you are insignificant to the BBK, really. This blew over a long, long time ago, when we realized that you were rarely active in this community. Just let it go.--CyberRead240 02:34, 7 June 2008 (BST)
It's not a community, remember? it's a society! The UD society! And the reason one has a reason to be so rude is because they are being sworn at as if I'm stealing your favourite toy. DanceDanceRevolution 11:07, 7 June 2008 (BST)
Haha that's fine :D I'm not terrible concerned about this anyways. I think I PK'ed one of your group a while ago, "just for the lulz," but that must have been back in... uh... February? Hm... I will have to check my journal. Who was it? I don't think I killed Nallan (I remember working with him during the Second Big Bash... I liked him.. OH! Wait, no, He got revenge on me after I killed sir'pom!) Ok, well, I apologize for killing one of your members. I don't really do that anymore. I have "turned a new leaf," so to speak, and so I wish you all the best! Don't forget to drop me comments every once in a while ;) This wiki can get kinda boring without anyone talking to you!
Hm... If I was still into PK'ing and WPKU, this would be the way to go to gain "infamy"... but that is neither here nor there.--Sic Re Mortem 18:50, 7 June 2008 (BST)
And I do have a sense of humor... but the main problem with the internet is that it is an inefficient medium for its message. Emotion is impossible to convey, and when you try to communicate solely with words, meaning is lost. Since everything is left up to the interpretation of the reader (even subconsciously, as base interpretations vary as well), the author's original intent is forsaken and the reader "hears" what he thinks the author is saying.--Sic Re Mortem 18:54, 7 June 2008 (BST)
Do not tamper with anyones talk page, it is against the wiki laws, and could result in you being banned. Just letting you know.--CyberRead240 01:33, 8 June 2008 (BST)

So is this resolved now? I'm only just beginning to understand what happened while I was away...--Nallan (Talk) 08:30, 8 June 2008 (BST)

PB forums

Hi there BBK, I have set up forums for the Briggade and our allies. We ask that at least one represenative of the BBK join the forums so we can continue to communicate 'behind closed doors'. If you're not to keen on forums, that's fine we can continue using the wiki talk pages to share information. What ever you decide will be fine. Good luck, and happy hunting. --Max Briggs 14:58, 8 March 2008 (UTC)

BBK PHORUMS

Revival? I think it would be handy. Lets give it another whirl, now that there are no big bro beavers in town--CyberRead240 11:10, 31 March 2008 (BST)

lol. umm maybz, but revive req's would be needed as we have junkyard talk page and if we need a revive we just go to the junky. for planning and tactical shit maybe...i don't really care. group emails are always easy..--xoxo 11:42, 31 March 2008 (BST)
Not for only UD related cases. It'd just be sweet to post cool shit on there. Like youtube vids, the bbk kids could use it for school shit come hsc time, we would of course have stuff for UD, it would take prominence, but I am salivating at the verbal insult battles that will go on between a few users on the forums. Lets us witness some verbal pwning. I think we should give it a go and make it as much about UD as anything else, ya dig?--CyberRead240 02:24, 5 April 2008 (BST)
yeah if you want, might as well put one together see how it goes. how was last night?--xoxo 02:31, 5 April 2008 (BST)
Amazing. Once you see the videos. you may never look at Nick the same way--CyberRead240 06:46, 5 April 2008 (BST)

The Great Suburb Group Massacre

Check-Mark-Reviewed.jpg Group Confirmed.
This group was confirmed active. Thank you for your reply.

Currently the suburb in question is Penny Heights but one response to this query will be all that is needed to protect your group link on all suburb pages. I know this is a random request but its for all groups regardless of size. Thank you. --RosslessnessWant a Location Image? 20:44, 18 July 2008 (BST)

I was wondering when you'd be knocking on our door. Still here. This is a much-needed good idea, ros.--Nallan (Talk) 00:21, 19 July 2008 (BST)
