Category:Poodle of Doom

I'd like to have a discussion on this category. Seems a bit redundant, doesn't it? Bar a few categorised talkpage redirects, it's identical to the wiki software version and unlike others like Category:Misanthropy, doesn't actually get used for organising all image/page creations etc. Am I being a Poodle bully again? Or do people think this isn't really needed? If so, I'd always give him a heads up on the namespace alternative. -- LEMON #1 11:55, 16 October 2010 (BST)

Works for me. I use mine mostly as an image gallery but this category could be handled the way DDR does his, with a prefix index link. Or, of course, not at all, given the disappearance of the user in question. Since that's pretty much a consensus I'll go clean it up now. 20:26, 16 October 2010 (BST)

Porn isn't a deletion category, because of several historical controversies over rogue sysops deleting what they deemed porn but 80% of the western world considered sub-par. Filing a complaint at A/VB is the correct method to go about this. -- LEMON #1 12:35, 4 October 2010 (BST)

I'd like to keep Template:MOBlitruin around if folks don't mind. We use Template:MOBruinlit it on the MOB Locator, but since we update it by hand, we occasionally get the wording backwards. That'd be me, and I had to leave a lot of it intact since it wasn't in the group's namespace itself, which is what had been requested for deletion. I deleted what I could, knowing that the images would be cleaned as a scheduled deletion eventually, which would then leave the category nearly empty, at which point the leftover could be put up on A/D and then the category put up as a crit 4. That said, the category isn't empty since it still has dozens of entries in it, so I don't see how this is a crit 4 just yet. Of course, most of those are talk pages for images, which apparently weren't deleted when they were cleaned out as scheduled deletions (not done by me), so we should be able to delete those as scheduled deletions, which just leaves some templates behind afterwards. —Aichon— 03:55, 4 October 2010 (BST)
