I trying to write something and I was wondering if you had a few links to the topic over on Brainstock or references on the wiki to the DEM attempt at consolodating a large supergroup of survivors to fight "The Dead". Recruiting offer

Hi, thanks for the offer to join MCI. I think I'll remain independent for the time being, partly because I don't want any particular one of my alts to go in for full time scouting. I have several different characters, and if I see anything interesting with any of them I post it on the wiki as 'Garum'.

I don't know if you're aware of the new scent map that swiers made? Since you are a recon group you and your people might like to contribute scent images any time you find yourselves dead. At the moment swiers is doing most of the work, and the map would be more useful if more people got involved. I started a new character to be a full-time scent mapper but it's taking ages to level him up.

Wow <insert admiration>

I just want to make note of your response to Karek on the Talk page of your suggestion. You showed a lot of restraint, and you even continued to debate the matter in a calm and logical way. Some people on this Wiki would allow that to deteriorate into some sort of "Flame War".

While, theoretically, I agree with you that excluding the DEM from a free-participation alliance would be contradictory -- I'm more afraid that there'd be more problems if you were one of the principal founding members. Do you realize how big you are? How you overshadow pretty much every other survivor group in the game? I know that I'd personally be afraid that the DEM would end up monopolizing the alliance/council/whatever, because of the size and influence you already has. And that a lot of groups wouldn't be terribly interested, if they saw it as (yet another) DEM-inspired-and-directed organizational idea. It's an excellent idea, Father...but I don't want "Council of the Living" to turn out to be just another fancy name for "DEM + Strategic Partners." I took a month away from any internet-related stuff over the holidays, to focus on some real-life stuff. I'm pretty much back now, and should be getting back into the swing of killing stuff eventually.
