I'm glad you appreciated my contribution. People can get a bit invested in their own point of view, so it's fun to throw rocks at them from time to time. (Although I generally like to avoid online drama. Its a wiki for a browser game, after all.)

Indeed, one must be careful of what one says. A world where people are held accountable for their words, on the INTERNET? Oh, how the mighty anonymous jerks have fallen! Though I suppose my group impersonation makes me one of those jerks as well. ;[ I don't intend to justify my wrongdoing, merely offer my reasoning: LUEsers don't get revived as easily as pro-survivors do. I figure if my character is going to play "dirty" and shoot his fellow man in the back, he may as well fly another's flag to get a revive under false pretenses. If I am to be judged a criminal, I have no need for delusions of grandeur. And as for wasted AP, there is no such thing when in a siege. If you're going down, go down trying or at least smiling. It's not wasted at all if you build something that lasts (and I don't mean barricades) or you learn something new. I'll look forward to crossing paths with you again in the future--and rest assured I'll be flying my own group's flag in my profile. ;] --Zombie in Pajamas 06:17, 17 June 2008 (BST)

:That bank is either great luck or bad luck, I'm not really sure which. I'd already been nearly killed once by a very determined bounty hunter this morning, but I was healed up by my fellow PKers. Just when I think I'm safe, you say some nice things and kill me. I don't think I've ever laughed so hard at an online game, so thanks for that. As for reporting the bounty, by all means. It's not like I'm going to suddenly drop below KOS, so I have no objections. That would also put your name will forever be listed on my Rogue's Gallery page where you shall live in infamy. Or something.

:And it's always good to be on a revive-on-sight list. That will make one ROS for every 50 KOS lists I'm on, I'd wager. ;] And my fellow LUEsers got to me fairly quickly, as they were most sympathetic to my plight (and in tears from laughing so hard). --Zombie in Pajamas 03:28, 18 June 2008 (BST)

Read the link for the Qartly Study Group
Just wanted to acknowledge that there were mistakes on both our parts and apologize for mine too. I called your update prozombie on the basis that the time between your two report was only a few hours apart for a jump of 20+, not taking into account the possibility of several zombie getting up, and either moving on or getting shot down again. Along with not noticing the clause about it only being about the NorthEast section, and not K-bank as a whole. In the future I'll take careful note of whether a post was about a part or whole suburb.

I read the link for the Qartly Study Group that you thoughtfully commented on to me.
On a lighter note, how is the SFNAS? For a week or so we were barely seeing any activity aside from a single break in attempt once a day. With no sign of ol' Billy giving a friendly taunt on our forums, and SFNAS not even showing up on the group stats. Though it's good to see Zomboni, Roy, and McDeathkill still kicking after their Heaven Smile days in '06. -- JD 02:13, 20 August 2011 (BST)
I snorted and giggled for a few minutes at the absurdity of a literate and well studied populace, both living and otherwise in a war-torn Apocalyptic setting.

That was a very welcome relief from the formalized background of the DEM I work with everyday.

It was made for the page of my other "group" the Cult of the Red Star, so it's really more representative of The bluefish, my fun alt.  FT's my 'serious' character, it's only on that page because TB's not represented on the wiki.

At the risk of exaggeration, I must say that your note on my talk page was one of the nicest things I have ever discovered upon logging in to the wiki. And it was a helpful reminder that I do need to update the danger level for Shuttlebank--I had been waiting to do a little additional scouting before making the change, but figured it was about time. I also took some time to look at your wiki page, which points to a number of things I hadn't seen before, so thank you for that. I'm very relieved you cleared up the zerg issue with SFHNAS. I really like you guys, and I refuse to believe that SFHNAS' veterans would tolerate zerging at any level. As I said in the Knights Templar's forum, I even thought locsta was really one of your own. :c I also saw a few others around, like catsick (but I don't think that one was a zerg, they seem to have gone inactive after joining BB4), but I'm not really sure anymore. Sorry if it seems like I'm a creeper with reading what you told Ross in his userpage, but I really don't want to see SFHNAS retire. I can't speak for the other Knights (especially the Old Guard), but I now know that they're not one of yours (I do remember having insanely good hit rates against locsta.)<br />Also, welcome back to UD. You're the stuff of legends. (I only read about you in the wiki and in AHLG's game! I was wondering who that 'Jen' was... ) -- 08:46, 30 July 2014 (UTC)
: Thanks! And, well, I'm trying to clear it up, at least. Quite sure catsick and dancin' fool and mpaformeat and Gnaarrghh aren't zergs; there's a zombie in there right now with our tag I'm still trying to identify, but I'm thinking he's probably not one, either. Let me know if there's any suspicion of anything else and I'll look into it.  And gosh, I'll have to check out Gnome's game again! --Jen 14:25, 30 July 2014 (UTC)

Dulston for good.--Janine 02:02, 10 September 2008 (BST)
: Well, I'm kinda stuck between two thoughts right now.

:Honestly I just combined my first name with a name from the Families of Malton page. Names don't matter so much when the only person who will see it are revivers, contact listers, and any survivors you run into while fetching yourself a flak jacket or buying body building.--Janine 14:15, 13 September 2008 (BST)
:1) For the time being, I'm just stubbornly hanging out in the hospital, spending almost all my AP every day killing them and yelling "ZARG."  St. F's is/was my zombie family, and I'm too attached to the place to just give it up and join a different group. I tried and couldn't bring myself to do it.  If end up going inactive from the game again, though, and no one else from the group is active in the metagame, I'm probably going to request that St. F's be officially listed as a defunct/historical group on the wiki. If no one at all is there to put up a fight against the zerg infestation and reputation, it seems the best option.  But while I'm here I'm too mad and stubborn and nostalgic to give it up.

Hey
:2) That said, there are two other zombies that have our tag that are also hanging around, whom I haven't been able to identify or engage ingame in any manner.  If they also turn out to be zergs, then the proportion of five zerg accounts to three legitimate accounts is just too damn discouraging to think about, and I'm inclined to throw in the towel and just officially disband the group right then and there.

Congrats on the quickest fix of an ad I have ever seen. :) - User:Whitehouse 21:54, 14 September 2008 (BST)
:3) OK, maybe a third thought, which I thought while writing the other two. I want to call in reinforcements who can mercilessly and repeatedly headshot the bastards, lecture them in human language about zerging, and tell them to steal a different tag if they're going to keep it up. Campaign "Clear the Name of the Good Saint Ferroel!" or something. :P Would probably backfire. But it would make me feel better.  There HAVE to be enough bored UD players and groups and alts around who'd maybe be game for it at some point, right? --Jen 00:51, 2 August 2014 (UTC)
::I'll help. 04:48, 2 August 2014 (UTC)
:::Thanks.  And darn, I asked the Templars to see if they could identify the unknown ones for me...the one that they did so far looks like he's a part of the zerg group.  No official proof of it anywhere, but he's just got a creation date in the exact same time range as the other three. --Jen 09:49, 2 August 2014 (UTC)
:::Sammy Jankins, who is mentioned by name in the known zerger SGT Killer Kennedy profile.  DAMMIT. --Jen 10:02, 2 August 2014 (UTC)
::::That's some bad luck. Is there a forum or anywhere I might be able to sign up and help? I might travel there and help out for a month or two. From what you're said, it's a sad state of affairs at the moment :( 11:38, 3 August 2014 (UTC)

Ronin Gallery
Hey, thanks heaps for your support and help!

Just for the record... IMNSHO a level 12 survivor is in no way, shape or form a "babah". Not even close. Neither is a Level 6, like that Amy Diller you entered. For me, the cut-off is maybe lvl 4... anything above lvl 4 ought to have plenty of ways to level up other than killing zombies in the street.

And... HOLY FUCK that NT building is a madhouse of slayage! The blood gushes... the dismemberment... teh Pwninage!

And... finally... I haven't found any images or ideas/themes I like for a Ronin Gallery template... Except... Maybe... Hmmmmmmmmnnnn..................... --WanYao 20:03, 19 September 2008 (BST)

:Graaaagh... I don't wanna bicker with you... But, here's my logic in response to this: "Wan says that level 6 =/= babah, and that these guys have no excuse." Ok... Here's the thing... Normally people's 2nd or 3rd skill is going to be Free Running, right? And, if they have half a brain, one of the first 3 skills they get will be Diagnosis. So... Let's look at a generic build for a level 5 survivor...Skills are not necessarily in the order you'd buy them...
* Free Running - duh.
* Diagnosis - excellent XP farming skill
* Construction - if you're not a totally selfish jerk, you buy this skill ASAP.
* Shopping - because malls rawk, even without the Bargain Hunting bonus.
* Any XP farming skill of your choice... DNA scanning is cool, so is "missing with an axe", or even beginning to get some Firearms skills.

:So... here we have a Level 5 character with two different ways to farm XP, access to reasonable search success rates in the mall, plus they have Free Running and a skill that makes them useful to other survivors, i.e. Construction. This is a fully viable character and no longer a babah -- an adolscent, yes, a babah, no chance. And, you could be even a bit more XP-hoggish and forgo Construction or even Shopping (and stick with PDs, or perhaps just use an axe) or hell Diagnosis if you're a real trenchcoater... and get one or two or three(!) more combat skills. Therefore by level 5 are a probably a "young adult", by level 6 most certainly you are.

:Sure, killing zombies in the street is a fast way to get XP... And level 6 is not a full grown up... But, once you hit level 5 or 6 you are a totally viable survivor and thereforenot a babah, not by any stretch of the imagination. --WanYao 23:57, 20 September 2008 (BST)

Re: On the RRF and Salt the Land
Hi Jen. RRF do maintain a dead zone in Ridleybank, and lots of players will retire an RRF alt there to help keep it dead, but the group as a whole isn't a Salt the Land group outside of that. Murray has made the point several times to me and others that they don't see the extinction of revival as a viable form of gameplay in UD and their main horde and squads roam far and wide brain farming much like the MoB. The recent sack of Shearbank is a good demonstration of that ... it took barely a week to revive after the RRF destroyed it. Same will happen with Quarlesbank after AU10 hit the NT's and calvert mall. Yagoton should follow soon as well.

Salt the Land is about playing zombies like survivors ... it's about taking and holding NT's, in the case of zeds that means keeping them ruined. Eastonwood Ferals were good for Extinction cos they killed Eastonwood and kept smashing at its 8 neighbours including Caiger. What Extinction has done the last year and a half is take a corner and spread the ruin to its neighbours as far as the AP war allows.

That's the main gameplay difference - we don't think survivors should be allowed to revive. RRF/MoB do. --Zeug 16:19, 11 October 2008 (BST)

Thats a nice list you've got there. It's very true that often groups blast other groups for their play style, and it frequently annoys me how often groups attack each other for what is really quite trivial, and is just needless drama. Finally, the general anti-PK view among Malton's survivors (I mean a general apathy, not for roleplaying reasons,) gets rather annoying. They are just another group of people, who practice a different playstyle. So? They make the game interesting, and a bit more scary.

You are in the User_talk:Jen Building. The floor is flecked with fresh blood. The building has been loosely barricaded.

A portable generator has been set up here. It is running.

Someone has spraypainted a plain, white mask and the letters 'P.K.' onto a wall.

There is an inactive body here.

Hello to you too

Just wanted to acknowledge that there were mistakes on both our parts and apologize for mine too. I called your update prozombie on the basis that the time between your two report was only a few hours apart for a jump of 20+, not taking into account the possibility of several zombie getting up, and either moving on or getting shot down again. Along with not noticing the clause about it only being about the NorthEast section, and not K-bank as a whole. In the future I'll take careful note of whether a post was about a part or whole suburb.

Club Class

Hi there Jen, thanks for your message!

SFHNAS is an inspiration to zombie groups across Malton so we appreciate the compliments on our Club enterprise. We at CTD also like to keep the noise down (except for groans and bellowing) so we have some shared interests with our fellow zombies at St Ferreol's.

Sad to say we have a breather infestation in our mall right now. They keep wanting to turn lights on, eat Cheetos etc, which is highly abnormal and antisocial conduct, but we're working hard to correct the aberration.--Mallrat The Spanish Inquisition TSI The Kilt Store TKS Clubbed to Death CTD 07:59, 21 August 2011 (BST)

Well although they are new forums we still have all our old user accounts. So your account is still there. I'll shoot a message to DT about it and tell him to reply on your talk page. In the meantime I might keep trying to guess the password or reset it via your email. :/        13:17, 27 August 2011 (BST)

September 8th EMRP - Shuttlebank

At the risk of exaggeration, I must say that your note on my talk page was one of the nicest things I have ever discovered upon logging in to the wiki. And it was a helpful reminder that I do need to update the danger level for Shuttlebank--I had been waiting to do a little additional scouting before making the change, but figured it was about time. I also took some time to look at your wiki page, which points to a number of things I hadn't seen before, so thank you for that. I wonder if you've ever met one of my alts... it is a (relatively) small (and flat) world, after all :) Barbecue Barbecue 08:51, 9 September 2011 (BST)

sadface.

I can't speak for the other Knights (especially the Old Guard), but I now know that they're not one of yours (I do remember having insanely good hit rates against locsta.)
Also, welcome back to UD. You're the stuff of legends. (I only read about you in the wiki and in AHLG's game! I was wondering who that 'Jen' was... ) --Chiharu Matsuda( OAMPaladin) 08:46, 30 July 2014 (UTC)

Thanks!

St F's

Yep, I wandered away when we got zerg infected and haven't come up with a sensible alternative. thoughts? --Rosslessness 23:19, 1 August 2014 (UTC)

Well, I'm kinda stuck between two thoughts right now.
1) For the time being, I'm just stubbornly hanging out in the hospital, spending almost all my AP every day killing them and yelling "ZARG." St.
2) That said, there are two other zombies that have our tag that are also hanging around, whom I haven't been able to identify or engage ingame in any manner. If they also turn out to be zergs, then the proportion of five zerg accounts to three legitimate accounts is just too damn discouraging to think about, and I'm inclined to throw in the towel and just officially disband the group right then and there.
3) OK, maybe a third thought, which I thought while writing the other two.
I'll help. A ZOMBIE ANT 04:48, 2 August 2014 (UTC)
Thanks.
Sammy Jankins, who is mentioned by name in the known zerger SGT Killer Kennedy profile. DAMMIT. --Jen 10:02, 2 August 2014 (UTC)
That's some bad luck. Is there a forum or anywhere I might be able to sign up and help? I might travel there and help out for a month or two. From what you're said, it's a sad state of affairs at the moment :( A ZOMBIE ANT 11:38, 3 August 2014 (UTC)
The other heretofore unidentified zombie is legit, so it's only four zerg accounts max! (I needed some good news). The St. F's forums are in working order, and I'm pretty sure I understand the admin powers, though you and I (and maybe one of our other members whom I contacted) may be the only people using it. --Jen 02:24, 4 August 2014 (UTC)
