Danger reports

Please be careful when changing danger reports. If you make a new report, remember to update the signature part to your own sig, otherwise can be seen as changing someone else's signed comments, which is impersonation. Also try to keep the reports neutral, there is no need for shouting and swearing on danger report pages -- boxy talkteh rulz 04:29 15 January 2009 (BST)

Arbitration

Please be aware, I have taken you to arbitration over your continued false edits regarding the Mall Tour 2009. The case can be found here, please confirm that you will accept the case and represent yourself and select an arbitrator at your earliest convenience. I have stated a list of arbitrators that I will accept to aid your decision in this matter. -- To know the face of God is to know madness....Praise knowledge! Mischief! Mayhem! The Rogues Gallery!. <== DDR Approved Editor 05:18, 15 January 2009 (UTC)

Just to give you the heads up, all the users that he has suggested are members of the Mall Tour. You might want to make your own list rather than use his. -- Cheese 16:37, 15 January 2009 (UTC)

You can also reject every arbiter and make the case go away if you want. --  AHLGTG THE END IS NIGH! 17:43, 15 January 2009 (UTC)
But that is also seen as very poor form. More often than not, its best to just go through with a case, and make sure you pick an arbitrator that is going to be unbiased and fair.-- dǝǝɥs ɯɐds: sʎɐʍ1ɐ! 17:47, 15 January 2009 (UTC)
Poor form but not against the rules. This is a concept that iscariot knows very well, but it doesnt hurt to teach him once more about this --People's Commissar Hagnat talk mod 18:17, 15 January 2009 (UTC)
Right, because setting more and more of an example that isn't needed is only going to make things better. We want users to believe that arbitration is a useful tool. Telling everyone that you can just ignore the case and it will go away detracts from the entire systems purpose. Just because you don't like Iscariot, doesn't mean you need to promote bad form you know.-- dǝǝɥs ɯɐds: sʎɐʍ1ɐ! 18:25, 15 January 2009 (UTC)
Its not because i dont like iscariot. But because he tries to game the system with this kind of behavior, since its not within the written rules its ok in his book to be abused. I say, let him have a taste of his own medicine. --People's Commissar Hagnat talk mod 18:28, 15 January 2009 (UTC)
Well, thats how it's sure coming off, I'll tell you that. I'm sorry for assuming you didn't like him. But anyway. Whether one user manipulates the system and abuses it like that or not, it's not something we should promote and tell other users to do. If one user makes a bunch of socks, and attacks another user without breaking a single rule in the process, would we tell the attacked to make socks themselves and attack back? No, we'd stop the original attacker, ban the socks, and make them follow the community standard.-- dǝǝɥs ɯɐds: sʎɐʍ1ɐ! 18:34, 15 January 2009 (UTC)
Sigh... guess you have a point :P --People's Commissar Hagnat talk mod 18:45, 15 January 2009 (UTC)
Still a valid option. It's unfair to be forced through arbitration, especially when you're new. --  AHLGTG THE END IS NIGH! 18:47, 15 January 2009 (UTC)
Fair or not, he should be helped through it instead of just having him unfairly opt out of it.-- dǝǝɥs ɯɐds: sʎɐʍ1ɐ! 19:05, 15 January 2009 (UTC)

Edits over Mall Tour '09.

I know you already have an arbitration case looming about this, but I'm in more of a mind to politely ask you to cease editing falsities on the Mall Tour. I don't want to involve you in pointless drama, so I'm asking you politely. -- Adward  22:09, 17 January 2009 (UTC)

NPOV

Learn it and use it. --WanYao 02:55, 23 January 2009 (UTC)

Wan's brought up an arbitration case over these edits. Linkthewindow  Talk  03:16, 23 January 2009 (UTC)

Yes... I am sick of seeing them and having to fix them. People have spoken to you before about this, but you don't seem to care. Frankly, I also won't take your word that you'll stop making such edits. I seem to recall you saying something about not making edits re: Mall Tour '09... yet your blatant contempt for NPOV and wiki policies continues... unabated... Thus, I am seeking a binding arbitration to stop you from doing this.
Yes, I'm annoyed... and not exactly trying to be nice, why should I??? --WanYao 03:31, 23 January 2009 (UTC)

Just so you understand why I've created this Arby case -- and why I'm pissed off -- let me cut and paste the blurb that is at the top of every suburb's News section

Please: recent news at the top (signed & NPOV). Old news can be archived.

These guidelines are are very visible ... These same guidelines apply to all community pages -- including Mall and other building status reports.

If this was just something you did once or twice, I'd write it off as a newbie mistake. But it's something you've been doing over and over and over again... and even though you've been "spoken to" about pissing about already. That's why I am playing hardball. But, no matter what the outcome of the Arbitration case, as I wrote there, if you stop flouting NPOV then there won't be any problems in the future. Nada. However, given your history, there is no way I will take your "word" or accept any "promises of good behavior".

That's about it. See you in Arbies, sir. --WanYao 04:03, 23 January 2009 (UTC)

Suggest you hop to it and agree on an arbitrator before a representative is selected for you. You've gotten about as many second chances as you're going to get. --Pestolence(talk) 01:57, 26 January 2009 (UTC)
The arbies case has been closed, by Wan. That doesn't however, mean that you can continue making POV edits. Linkthewindow  Talk  10:52, 28 January 2009 (UTC)

2 Things

1. Please read the comments about NPOV (Neutral Point of View) that Wan posted. News items are expected to be Neutral. If you have any questions about whether or not your update is neutral please feel free to run it by Wan Yao or a sysop for feedback. This is a soft warning stating that if you continue to edit against NPOV guidelines it will most likely be treated as Vandalism and bad faith.

2. If you do not want to participate in the Arbitration case brought up by Iscariot it is your right to refuse (and probably in your best interest). Since the majority of the issue is with individual updates you made and not an actual page that you control it isn't an issue that needs to be resolved. If you are serious about following the NPOV guidelines then the arbies case would be pointless anyway. I am sure you are going to follow the guidelines, right? --– Nubis NWO 09:21, 23 January 2009 (UTC)

FYI, even if you drop the arbies cases you are still bound to upholding the NPOV guidelines for updates. So, don't think that ignoring the cases makes the "warning" go away.--– Nubis NWO 09:32, 23 January 2009 (UTC)

The Malton Rangers

Hello, Sgt Raiden, I'm Noah from the Malton Rangers. We've noticed that you wear our badge but haven't yet visited our forums or applied formally (http://c4nt.proboards104.com/index.cgi?board=range). Once there create an account and post the necessary info in the Application forum. This is highly recommended since you will be able to coordinate with the rest of the Rangers across Malton to better improve your impact on the city. We can also help you revives and heals if, God forbid, you run into those nasty zeds.

Thanks for your time and I hope to see you soon around. --Noah Kling 03:46, 13 February 2009 (UTC)

Warning

Please do not blank community pages. Doing so is considered vandalism and will lead to you being banned. Your warning can be struck out after 250 good-faith edits and a month have passed, provided that you do not vandalize during that time period. --ZsL 04:51, 7 April 2009 (BST)
