Basic Info:

  • Office buildings owned by the company often associated with the zombie outbreak. From the outside, they are indistinguishable from other buildings, but characters with the NecroTech Employment skill are able to recognise them.
  • Among the internal descriptions found in NecroTech Buildings:
The NecroTech logo is set in the wall behind the front desk, and doors open onto powered-down computer rooms and laboratories."
  • If a generator is running inside the building:
"The NecroTech logo glows gently above the front desk, and doors open onto a number of brightly-lit laboratories and computer rooms."
  • NecroTech offices are tall enough for survivors to commit suicide from. They also provide a vantage point from which binoculars can be used.
  • Necrotech Buildings can be barricaded normally.

Description

Necrotech

The Angerstein Building is a NecroTech facility located in the suburb of East Grayside. Though a faceless corporate structure to the uninitiated, this facility acts as the heart of R&D for NecroTech within the suburb. Staff at this building commonly revive zombies at nearby revive points. This facility is the only NecroTech facilities found in the entire suburb. Members of project NecroWatch renovated the facility in recent months, as they installed sensor eyes for A.L.I.C.E. throughout the building and uploaded NecroNet 2.0 into the facility's system terminals.

Mandate

NecroTech staff continue to follow directive 42-A, issued by the head office on January 19th 2006, with the activation and manufacture of MK-II revivification syringes. While the cost in time and effort are currently high the certainty provided by being able to manufacture a constant stream of syringes has mitigated early concerns.

The activation of NecroNet with all NecroTech buildings has also allowed scientists to apply the DNA tracking research they have gathered to date. The field research staff stationed at the Angerstein Building feel certain that they can crack the mystery surrounding the spread of the virus as well as help monitor aberrant zombie activity within East Grayside.

NecroNet Reports

Zombie tracking reports are a free service provided by the NecroTech corporation to all its staff and local survivors in order to help facilitate quicker response times when managing zombie threats and to build a greater awareness of zombie migration patterns within the 9x9 block region around the Angerstein Building. As a cautious reminder, only those zombies tagged with the DNA Extractor will appear on these scans, so actual numbers may vary when dealing with older zombies (i.e. Brain Rot).

Barricade Policy

January 9th, 2014 - This NecroTech location is tentatively being set up as a revive point for zombies with advanced cranial decomposition. As such, the barricade levels will be adjusted to no higher than Very Strongly barricaded. This is not in compliance with the East Grayside Barricade Plan set forth by local survivors, so please take necessary precautions. Any survivor or zombie that is found to be intentionally damaging the generator or attacking the NecroTech personnel handling reviving will be judged accordingly. Thank you for your cooperation. TohruRokuno 19:48, 9 January 2014 (UTC)

Archived Barricade Policy:

This building should be Extremely Heavily barricaded (EHB+4) at all times. This is in accordance with the East Grayside Barricade Plan set forth by local survivors, who routinely monitor the barricade level for this building. This building is meant to serve as a safehouse for Malton's veteran survivors, and thus requires the Free Running skill to be properly utilized. Survivors who find the building's barricades below their assigned level are asked to assist in raising them back up in order to help ensure the safety of all the survivors staying inside the building. Any survivor found lowering the barricades may be directly "put to the question" by any survivors present at that time. If this happens the accused survivor must present a valid reason for their actions or be labeled a zombie spy/death cultist and be judged accordingly.

Current Status

Renovations and staff training are underway to resume zombie revivification services. Unfortunately the sole employee got himself shot and is currently awaiting a revive themselves at Mathews Park. Barricade status is at VSB, and fuel has run out. --Johnathan Fisher (talk) 01:02, 30 August 2021 (UTC)

Due to reduced staffing levels and increased zombie activity in the area, advanced cranial decomposition services are on hold. Building is at EHB +4 with running generator. TohruRokuno 08:25, 12 February 2014 (UTC)

With some assistance, Angerstein is back up and operational. Generator is fueled up, 'cades are at VSB +2. Got an eye-witness report that a death cultist was responsible for the attack on Angerstein, though unconfirmed. If you want to be revived, come to Angerstein. If you don't want to be revived, then don't come here. Simple as that. TohruRokuno 00:45, 19 January 2014 (UTC)

Last zombie has been cleared - sorry, Kyle. The ruin has been repaired, but the 'cades are very low, there's no genny, and I'm out of ammo. Without help, this location will be inoperative for at least a week, if not longer. TohruRokuno 21:32, 16 January 2014 (UTC)

Well, that didn't last long. I was away from the building for a day giving out revives to the local zombie population, and came back to find the building ruined, generator destroyed, corpses all over the floor, and three zombies inside. Being out of syringes, I was forced to deal with the zombies in the more savage and traditional manner of bullet to the brain pan. Took out two of them and dumped them outside, but there's still one inside and the building is still ruined. I fear rebuilding Angerstein is a greater task than I can do on my own. TohruRokuno 21:52, 15 January 2014 (UTC)

After its first successful reviving of a zombie with advanced cranial decomposition, this location has started to offer this service to all zombies so afflicted. TohruRokuno 20:04, 9 January 2014 (UTC)

Currently barricaded at EHB +4 with running generator. Zombie activity has been light, and prefers the nearby hospitals and police departments. --TohruRokuno 09:16, 1 January 2014 (UTC)

Currently barricaded at EHB +4 and safe. The zombies seem to prefer the fire station next door for unexplained reasons. --TohruRokuno 20:18, 7 December 2013 (UTC)

History

2009 May 14 - The barricades have been breached by just one zombie, in other words there are no cades and only 2 survivors alive inside --Firefighter00789 03:52, 14 May 2009 (BST)

2009 May 12 - Currently at Extremely Heavily barricaded -- No zombies on the local map, eight dead bodies on the doorstep. --Lariat2301 10:02, 12 May 2009 (BST)

31 January 2009 - Angerstein is currently powered, EHB and safe. There are no zombies near it and is standing tall --The Cop 22:41, 31 January 2009 (UTC)

26 October 2008 - This building has fallen to the zombie hordes, no sign of any survivors. The building's doors have been left wide open as of 11:30 PM Central time.

6 December 2007 - Members of Drama Club performed "Army of Darkness" at the Angerstein Building by special request of Codename GT of the Channel 4 News Team. Sadly, the troupe arrived after the building fell to the zombie horde of the Second Big Bash just prior to the show, so we're not sure if the original requester saw the performance or not. The troupe performed for the 10 zombies present at the time. Bootlegs of performances can be found at the Drama Club page. Interested parties can book show through the Drama Club Booking page.

1 April 2007 - The NecroTech facility was being used to revive the "RRF Barricaders".
