Description

A statue commemorates the Hound.

A bleak cemetery, with stunted trees and yellowed grass.

History

This cemetery was in ancient times the scene of the dramatic, legendary battle between folk hero McTier and the Hound of the Osmondvilles.

The Hound's vile blood and even viler poop made the land unsuitable for agricultural purposes, so for centuries afterwards it has been reserved as a burial ground for criminals and other undesirables. Bodies buried here are thought to decay far more rapidly than elsewhere, perhaps a vestige of the Hound's poisonous dogbreath and flaming urine.

Whether the Hound's toxic residue among the dead caused the zombie contagion (as conspiracy theorists contend) is debatable, and sightings of hellish monster zombie dogs have yet to be confirmed.
