Defense Of Vinetown

July 8th, 2006: Zombies broke through the barricades at Caunt Street PD. Several managed to get in before the doors were closed, and some still remain inside.

April 1st, 2006: The Church has seemingly moved on and St. John's Cathedral is no worse for the wear. The Disgruntled Heroes have a new ally in the battle against the hordes. The M.A.I.M. Society.

March 24th, 2006: Defense of Vinetown Friday: Most of the Disgruntled Heroes have fallen back into Mitchem Mall to restock. We will be gunning for any and all zombies still in our area.

March 20th, 2006: Defense of Vinetown Monday: A signifigant zombie pupulation has entered St. John's Cathedral. we are moving to remedy this situation as fast as we can. The MACH team has began thinning the horde size in the area. And things are still looking up despite a minor setback.

March 19th, 2006: Defense Of Vinetown Sunday… The DEM, and the MACH strike force are still in the area, as well as some allies of the CDF. The Cathedral hasn't been breached yet still, and the Ling St. Police Department has been recovered. It appears the Church of the Resurrection's party has been canceled.

March 18th, 2006: Defense of Vinetown Saturday… The Church of the Resurrection still have a presence in the Army of Dave HQ, but through joint strikes from the Army of Dave, the Disgruntled Heroes, the DEM, and a MACH strike force, they have gotten served an eviction notice. The Army of Dave is happy to have their HQ back in their hands. So far, St. John's Cathedral has not been brerached, but a northern PD, Ling St. Police Department has now been occupied by Zombie forces. Sometime during the night, a fanatical survivor turned Zombie spy struck down the Phone Mast generator, it was quickly replaced by a working one.

The Defense of Vinetown was mounted when the Disgruntled Heroes learned of the impending attacks by the Church of the Resurrection. They mounted a St. Patricks Day Parade, and had plans of laying waste to our fair Vinetown. Not standing still like what happened with the Mall Tour 06, the Disgruntled Heroes used their contacts and staged a defense, and failed initially, however, they pulled through as time went on.

Wars

War: Hambargar Halparz December 3rd, 2005, We were dealt a crippling blow by the Hambargar Halparz' Superior numbers and hardcore tactics. Before the night's end, we were all dead. The war with the Hambargar Halparzwas lost on our part. Paradox and How Company were engaged with the zombie group. This is the second time Paradox helped us out with our enemies. We were forced to evacuate Crowbank, but we dealt the HH a good blow as a parting shot.

Our Escapades in Crowbank Always ready to be of help to our fellow survivors in the lovely suburb of Crowbank, the Disgruntled Heroes took it upon themselves to install a generator in the Exon Alley Railway Station, and even provide it with fuel. We manned it with a few of our warriors to protect it from the masses of zombies. Little did we realize how opposed zombies are to steady phone service.

On the night of December 4, 2005, nine foul zombies broke through our defenses and began biting, chewing, and generally beating down our valiant warriors, all to the beat of Michael Jackson. None survived.

Settling In: Vinetown We have survived the Mall Tour, we have rebuilt in its wake, and we have forged a home. We are currently set in for the long haul with no goals of spreading at this moment. We are holding our own with the aid of some rogue survivors, but with Caiger at the moment being the hot spot... we don't expect zombies to hit our position anytime soon.

In April '06 the Mitchem Mall was once again hit by The Shining Ones, the name given to Mall Tour '06 after they completed their tour. The DH attempted to make a stand, and were forced to back off and retake the mall once the zombies passed by.
