Zombies almost always check inside. Some are often used as literal fortresses, and are sometimes so heavily barricaded that it is impossible to enter without Free Running. Tagging a police station earns 2 XP. They are listed as a Tactical Resource Point. Police Stations can be barricaded normally.

Description

Maney Lane is one of two Police Departments in Dentonside. The other is Winsley Avenue Police Department.

Humans and zombies alike will see the following (permanent) description when standing outside the building:

"You are standing outside Maney Lane Police Dept, a narrow red-brick building surrounded by railings."

Such a description is always followed by a report of the building's condition (e.g. the level of its barricades), but since that report is never permanent and always subject to change, it is redundant to include it here as well.

History

One of the many Dentonside public buildings built in the 1920's. Maney Lane PD housed one of Malton's specialist police team, in this case the organised crime division. Local residents traded rumours that the building housed computers that regularly recorded all Dentonside phone calls.

After the outbreak survivors tried to substantiate these rumours, but found only large and very Empty rooms in the basement.

Barricading

According to the current Dentonside Barricade Plan this building is to be kept at VSB levels!
