Description
The Nisbet Building is a NecroTech facility located in the suburb of Shearbank. Though a faceless corporate structure to the uninitiated, this facility acts as the heart of R&D for NecroTech within the suburb. Staff at this building commonly revive zombies at nearby revive points, like Male Way (55,27), which is just one block north. This facility is one of four NecroTech facilities found in the suburb. During the invasion of Shearbank by the Big Bash in late October 2006, the Nisbet Building was the main focus of the attack. The building was breached and ransacked several times during the conflict. At one point there were over 100+ standing zombies outside this building alone. However, the defending survivor groups of Shearbank, led by the PTT repeatedly re-took the building and kept it barricaded, while whenever the zombies broke in they would find it empty. Around Halloween the number of zombies rapidly decreased, and on November 15th a score of survivors put down every standing zombie still outside the building. The Big Bash horde appeared to have finally broken up.
Members of project NecroWatch rennovated the facility in recent months, as they installed sensor eyes for A.L.I.C.E. throughout the building and uploaded NecroNet 2.0 into the facility's system terminals.
Umbrella Corporation Activity
Recently it was discovered that one of the elevator systems had been modified. The modification was difficult to notice, since no one examines the elevator shaft nor does anyone use the emergency stop button, but simply by accident, a civilian made a chance discovery by leaning into the 'emergency stop button'. Once this button is used the elevator will not stop but instead continue downward! Even more shocking is one the door opens you are in the midst of complex laboratory! Now it is not know who made these modifications or when but, what is obvious is who owns this mysterious laboratory... Umbrella Corporation. It's also not hard to see what this eerie lab is being used for with a few of the surgery tables lined with the dead. It is difficult whether these dead where a product of the reanimated or the product of a darker agenda. The Umbrella Corporation could not be reached for comment but since the discovery of this mystery lab the elevator has been equipped with an alpha-numerical keypad and entry is now impossible since the 'emergency stop' has been re-modified to its previous function. Survivors are suggested to stay away but, a few have been daring enough to conceive a plan to penetrate the facilities through the elevator shaft, this may prove very dangerous and again survivors are suggested to steer clear.
A new discovery!
Recent news regarding the mysterious Umbrella Corporation underground facility! It was reported by some brave Shearbank residents that the facility has been completely looted! Its unknown as to who did the looting or when but, on the fourth of February a large blast was felt throughout the building shaking survivors where they stood. All immediately evacuated fearing the building would collapse on them so they took their chances on the street to examine the building to see what happened. No structural damage could be observed on the building but survivors sighted a large black suburban speeding away from the scene. It was later discovered that night that the suburban had emerged from an underground entrance. The ominous dark tunnel and thick steel door made many of the survivors hesitate to enter. After a discussion several of the survivors decided to arm themselves and enter the tunnel to see where it lead. Upon entering the smell of gun powder and sulfur explosive material was heavy. After a few hours waiting for survivors to return from the dark, they emerged with the story that the whole lab that was rumored about for almost a year, indeed existed but was totally looted and appeared to have been totally destroyed by a single demo.
The survivors who searched the area only came out with a few Revivification Syringes. Supposedly the lab was stripped in haste and the demo did the work of destroying everything else. What could survivors have learned or gained of the Umbrella Corporation if it was accessed earlier, we may never know.
The nearest entry-point for this building is St. Athanasius's Church one block east.
Mandate
NecroTech staff continue to follow directive 42-A, issued by the head office on January 19th 2006, with the activation and manufacture of MK-II revivification syringes. While the cost in time and effort are currently high the certainty provided by being able to manufacture a constant stream of syringes has mitigated early concerns.
The activation of NecroNet with all NecroTech buildings has also allowed scientists to apply the DNA tracking research they have gathered to date. The field research staff stationed at the Nisbet Building feel certain that they can crack the mystery surrounding the spread of the virus as well as help monitor aberrant zombie activity within Shearbank.
Barricade Policy
This building should be Extremely Heavily (EH) barricaded at all times. This is in accordance with the Shearbank Barricade Plan set forth by local survivors, who routinely monitor the barricade level for this building. This building is meant to serve as a safehouse for Malton's veteran survivors, and thus requires the Free Running skill to be properly utilized. Survivors who find the building's barricades below their assigned level are asked to assist in raising them back up in order to help ensure the safety of all the survivors staying inside the building. Any survivor found lowering the barricades may be directly "put to the question" by any survivors present at that time. If this happens the accused survivor must present a valid reason for their actions or be labeled a zombie spy/death cultist and be judged accordingly.
NecroNet Reports
Zombie tracking reports are a free service provided by the NecroTech corporation to all its staff and local survivors in order to help facilitate quicker response times when managing zombie threats and to build a greater awareness of zombie migration patterns within the 9x9 block region around the Nisbet Building. As a cautious reminder, only those zombies tagged with the DNA Extractor will appear on these scans, so actual numbers may vary when dealing with older zombies (i.e. Brain Rot).

August 25th
The Nisbet Buildings fallen to zombie hands. The building is in ruin and a mob of about 13 or so are still hanging around. The revive point, obviously, is gone, so don't come down looking for reivie's until the situation changes.
August 23rd
Building's heavily barricaded and powered, with a fair amount of survivors inside. Revive point is still up and running, but some Rotters are making things a hassle. Also a large amount of zeds outside of the building itself, at least 11. Be wary coming around.
