Basic Info:

  • Train station. No trains are running.
  • Among the internal descriptions found in Railway Stations:
    • "Its platforms are empty, its departure boards blank, all trains having left the city during the evacuation."
    • "…a fire-damaged white-stone building surrounded by lawns. Behind railings, you can see railway tracks disappearing into the surrounding city."
  • This building can be barricaded normally.

Pegg Square Railway Station (76, 56) is an railway station found in the northeastern quadrant of the suburb of Edgecombe. There are no items that can be found here. Tagging this building gives no XP. It lies on the Purple Line. Rumours of it being named in honour of Simon Pegg are currently unfounded.

History

Nobody is entirely sure why the Malton transit authority insisted on building so many stations, or what purpose they served. Pegg was simply one stop in a massive sprawling network of tracks zigzagging their way haphazardly across the city. Nobody seems to mind its inconvenient placement anymore, as the trains never arrive on time anyhow.

Additional Information

Barricading

The Malton Travel Bureau will attempt to keep barricades at EH until nearby zombie numbers decrease.

This empty railroad station was once a part of the city's now extinct Malton Rail system.

Generator

There are no plans to set up a generator.
