20080830 FREERUNNING TWEAK

Suggestion scope
Survivors/Freerunning.

Suggestion description
Pretty simple. Make it cost 2 AP to freerun from one unruined building to another.

To do that without freerunning costs 3 AP. 1 to move out, 1 to move to the next building and 1 to move into the building.

With this change Survivors would still get 1 AP shaved off that operation with the bonus of being able to cross from a Heavily Barricaded or higher building to another.

This change would make Survivors consider making runs outside more often to save AP and make the game more fun.

Kill Votes

  1. Kill - It only takes 2 AP if you click on the building you want to go to without Freerunning and then enter. So your suggestion almost negates freerunning. --RahrahCome join the #party!13:05, 30 August 2008 (BST)
    Without Freerunning, you never get into the next building if it was HB or higher. Freerunning lets you bypass those high cades. That's the real heart of freerunning, the ability to get around cades you normally could not. A guarantee to get to the next building regardless of cades level. You should be able to move a lot faster outside than crossing planks or whatever is on top of the buildings.--Zombie Lord 13:14, 30 August 2008 (BST)

    It would get Survivors outside more, and they would have to think out their moves better. Being able to ignore high cades is already a huge bonus. I know giving up such an insanely over powered skill would be hard, but I really think it would make the game a lot more fun. Running outside would be a lot more "pulse-pounding", if you know what I mean. The Brave could run outside, and the more chicken-poop types could just stay in, but have to pay a bit more for it.--Zombie Lord 13:36, 30 August 2008 (BST)
