Mouthing Off

I gave Five damn dollars to kev to get this IP removed and I havent had it removed after 5 days?! What is up with this? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Lennard (talkcontribs) at an unknown time.

He's usually busy earning his money as a freelance programmer, but if it's not processed within three to four days, it might be a good idea to ask him yourself instead of whacking this on a page nobody ever looks at. (Until about six months later when their response is well nd truly useless.)Xoid STFU! 11:53, 8 October 2006 (BST)
Yeah. What Xoid said.--Nallan (Talk) 08:36, 4 August 2009 (BST)

Moved from the article

Just out of curiosity, why don't Kevan use some of the donations to improve the game? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by J0nath4n (talkcontribs) at an unknown time.

Because of the fact that the game costs far more to keep online than he recieves in donations? Bandwidth isn't cheap, y'know. Besides that, even if he had the money — what is he going to spend it on? Graphics aren't cheap and only exacerbate the "bandwidth isn't cheap" phenomenon. –Xoid STFU! 11:53, 8 October 2006 (BST)

A Question

So Kevan goes through the donations by hand, it's not some kind of automated process? I ask because in the space where it says Character donating for, I put "Blue Command Vic (id=642288)", thinking it would make it easier to process, but I was thinking it might screw up my donation if some computer reads that and can't find that entire thing as a username.

Am I making any sense? Blue Command Vic DvB 16:36, 30 October 2006 (UTC)

Forget it, just got an email saying he got it. Blue Command Vic DvB 18:26, 30 October 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for that. Your donations will be registered against the characters that you specified, just as soon as we process the email; depending on the queue and the time we've got spare, it could take anywhen between a couple of hours and four days.

We'll send you an email to let you know when it's done.

Just in case we ever decide to put it here. --VVV RPMBG 05:15, 20 June 2010 (BST)
