Template talk:ASSenemy
Cuberbob. Please stop vandalism. It's annoying.--Agent White 18:23, 28 June 2006 (BST)
- Who is this Cuberbob person? Cyberbob Talk 18:30, 28 June 2006 (BST)
- My typo. Sorry. Cyberbob. Happens. --Agent White 18:41, 28 June 2006 (BST)
Goal when making template: To create something to show pride at being an enemy of a group and a gung-ho show of arms. This is not about being ASSaulted, this is about fighting the enemy. Also, a group could place their group title as the User variable, allowing groups to be able to use it.--Agent White 18:46, 28 June 2006 (BST)
- Thanks for the unwanted drama. Glad I could make your day more fun by giving you something to change, and someone to annoy.--Agent White 18:54, 28 June 2006 (BST)
- Agent White made the template like he saw fit, why change it then I ask, even if templates are "public" property? Just make that 'Assassination template' on another page if you're so bothered by it or place it on your own user page. I believe Agent White had a goal in mind seeing his original message on the template.. Having it changed into 'targeted for ASSassination' surely misses the point he was trying to make, how immature you might regard it, and prolly gives the message a foul taste in his mouth. Could we at least bring up some respect for eachothers creations instead of willingly bugging somebody ((you might dislike on the wiki?)) --Vykos CMS-Meta 21:26, 28 June 2006 (BST)
- Thank you Vykos. I will leave the template alone, although the l vs User thing makes it less user friendly in my mind since User refers to the user of the template.--Agent White 21:36, 28 June 2006 (BST)
- Let it be clear that I understand Cyberbob's intention,.. but the way this edit ping-pong went just doesn't feel right. It could be seen like something personal this way. ( and it probably isn't, I hope) It could've been settled on the user talk page of one of the parties involved... that would've been the right thing to,.. wiki drama has started with less 'provoking' stuff in the past.--Vykos CMS-Meta 22:44, 28 June 2006 (BST)
Um, why link to the user page at all? If this is meant to be a pride thing, it should be on your user page. (The link will then just be bold. Why not just surround What's with the colour scheme? If you want the gray and red thing, why not copy and edit the image to be a gray colour? (Or even make the background transparent, a simple fix to the regular ASS template, and a single image can be used for both.) –Xoid S•T•FU! 07:10, 29 June 2006 (BST)

- I am afraid I don't exactly understand what you mean. The colour scheme I spent no time on since I'm not actually one for making things look nice. I just kinda spent some time fiddling in GIMP until I found colours I felt didn't look too horrible together and I felt reflected the kind of mood I was in at the time. If you feel you have a better colour scheme that I am not at all adverse to someone changing, I only really wanted the message of the template to be there, asthetics don't matter to me too much.--Agent White 00:23, 5 July 2006 (BST)
