Description

The Anstruther Building is the mobile phone mast building for the suburb of Rhodenbank. Many feel that it is the finest example of high-modernist architecture in Malton. This building houses the suburb's mobile phone mast. It is currently under local contract to MalTel; during the spate of zombie sieges against newly activated cell towers in late November 2005, the Onimoz family played a key role in keeping the building barricaded and the generator running.

Briefly the building was maintained by the North Side Ninjas, or that was until their group disbanded.

Barricade Policy

Please keep this building at EHB.

This building should be Extremely Heavily barricaded at all times. Visitors are encouraged to drop by and not only check its barricade level, but also top-up the portable generator if necessary. Survivors are then advised to drop into the Ablett Arms next door for a tall cold one.

History

April 16th, 2007 - Bigger Daddy, the leader of the zombie group Dead Air, broke into the Anstruther Building and smashed the generator. Since then the RCDC have restored the building's barricades and are working to restore power.

January 22nd, 2007 - Survivors in the surrounding suburbs note that the tower in the distance atop the Anstruther Building, has gone dark. The perpetrators of this travesty are none other than zombies from Dead Air, whose anti-broadcasting hatred continues to spread chaos throughout Malton's communications grid.

May 27th, 2006 - The rogueish Tittybar destroyed the portable generator in the Anstruther Building and killed a member of the Galactic Mystery Solvers in the process. As usual, this numpty delivered no amusing chat while murdering, so the GMS can only suggest that if you see the vandal/murderer, advise him on wit before punching him in the back of the neck.
