Who can enter?
The Malton Marathon is open to all physically fit survivors. It is recommended that you have free running and body building, but really the only requirements are a pulse and a sense of adventure. Sign up at the Zodiac Forums.
Zombies, you are still welcome to try and eat as many race participants as possible. I'll probably make a flagbox for the zombie who can prove they ate the most. After all, eating healthy is important too!
Official Route
Starting line: Clapton Stadium, West Grayside
Checkpoints: (Hit these in any order you want.)
- Fort Perryn, Pennville/Whittenside
- St John's Cathedral, Vinetown
- Fort Creedy, Peppardville/Pitneybank
- The Blackmore Building, Ridleybank
- Floyde Stadium, Barrville
- Malton City Zoo, Ketchelbank
- Caiger Mall, Chudleyton/Darvall Heights
- Bird Boulevard, Dakerstown
- Pitman Mansion, Quarlesbank
- Fabian General Hospital, Shuttlebank
Finish line: Rodges Stadium, Chancelwood
Points will be awarded for fastest time to complete all checkpoints. 1st place: 50 pts 2nd place: 25 pts 3rd place: 15 pts 4th - 10th place: 10 pts Finished: 5 points
Bonus points will be awarded for picking up scavenger hunt items along the way (see below).
Scavenger Hunt
The official list of items will be posted on race day. Simply find these items or meet the conditions and provide a screen shot on the discussion page. Screen shots can be made using Imageshack, Photobucket, or iWitness. Only the first person to find each item should post their screenshot on the discussion page. Everyone else should put links to your screenshots on your personal page (or if you don't have a wiki page you can use the Zodiac's forum).
Prizes!
The grand prize will be an invitation to join the Zodiacs. (This prize is not open to current members, but the member with the top score

- Official Race Sponsor - For groups that send one or more racers and/or provide revives or other support on the race route.
- 1st/2nd/3rd place awards - For the fastest times (human and zombie divisions)

- Eat healthy award - For the zombie who eats the most racers.
