Mica Ki joined the MFU on August 6th, 2007. Her badge is number 959.

She graduated with honors from the Red Thresh Academy on Spetember 9th, and was promoted to Toxicologist.

She is currently residing in Nixbank, and helping take care of the Revive Point inside St Eugene's Church [7, 77].

Have you seen my little sister?

Her name is Niea. I found a note which says that her police unit may have moved to the northeast. I haven't heard from her since the outbreak, and I'm really worried about her! Any information would be appreciated!

Mica had about the most idyllic childhood anyone could ask for. She grew up in South Blythville, with her father working as a reference librarian at the Shiplow Library. Her mother stayed at home, and took care of Mica and her little sister, Niea. Mica's father maintained a vast collection of books, both non-fiction and fantasy, and his lust for philosophy and knowledge was what drove Mica to become a scientist.

When she graduated from college with her B.S. in genetics, she was quickly snapped up by the NecroTech corporation, which was eager to get it's hands on all the fresh geneticists it could at the time.

Niea was more of a tomboy. She entered the MPD academy out of high school, and was serving as a police officer at the time of the outbreak.

The night of the outbreak...

Through an enormous stroke of luck, both of Mica's parents were visiting relatives out of town, and Mica and Niea were having a party in their absence. Niea had invited over some of the cute policemen she worked with, and they in turn had brought a fair amount of alcohol. Mica had just been talked into taking her first shot of vodka, ever, when a neighbor came by telling them all to turn on the news. Sobriety had never come so quickly.

The party ended after that. Niea and her co-workers left to report for work, and Mica was left alone to deal with the situation. Niea never came back.

Shortly after the outbreak, the news came out that NecroTech was the party responsible. Mica had suspected as much, but it was too late for her to do anything. She stayed at home for a few days, but when she ran out of food, and Niea hadn't returned, Mica set out to find her sister and learn about what had happened.

Mica wasn't prepared for what she found. Walking outside for the first time since the party, she was horrified to see the streets lined with dead bodies. She wandered for a while, and wound up at the police station the police station were Niea was assigned.

Several zombies were still wandering around the abandoned ruins of Lovelock Plaza Police Department. Mica didn't realize what they were at first, and then they were on her. She was dragged down, screaming as the zombies tore at her and bit her.

Four gunshots echoed through the air, and the three zombies attacking Mica collapsed to the ground. "Come on, up you go!", said a mysterious stranger, putting his arm under Mica's shoulders and helping her to her feet. "We need to get out of here... Now", he added, firing off a few more rounds at the other zombies, as Mica merely stood there in shock.

Taking her hand, he lead her running out of the building, and to safety. It turned out her hero was one Mr. Atticus Rex, and after treating her infection, he filled her what had been happening. He worked for the MFU, and had been scouting the police department during the regular course of his duties. He offered to take her back with him, and told her about what she could do to help the survivors that were still left in Malton.

His kindness was too much, and reality finally sunk in for Mica, and she broke down into tears.

Mica sees the MFU as the best chance she has for tracking down her missing sister.

Whenever anyone asks Mica about the work she did for Necrotech, she always replies, "I swore to NecroTech that I wouldn't discuss their classified information. Why should anybody trust me if I violate that?"

Mica walked everywhere when she was a child, and never learned to drive, or got her driver's license.
