The (not quite so) Invisibles

That page has no content. Remedy it, it or will be speedily deleted. –Xoid STFU! 07:48, 11 May 2006 (BST)

No longer relevant. –Xoid STFU! 18:23, 11 May 2006 (BST)

Hello Jakeweber.

First of all, welcome to the UrbanDead wiki. Hope you had as much fun here as you probably do by playing the game. Sorry for this late welcome, but only now you have made yourself notable.

Now, I see you are editing your group's page, The (not quite so) Invisibles. I would like to ask you to, when editing this page (actually, any page) to use the Show Preview button before hitting the Save Page one. This will display your page as it is based on your latest edits, and then you can simply change whatever your think is wrong in it. This will help uncluter the Recent Changes page, since saving multiple times the same page make it appear several times in the recent changes listing.

Anyway, that is all i had to say. Have fun. --hagnat mod 18:38, 11 May 2006 (BST)

Crotchshot

Thanks for pointing out that I managed to drop my flak jacket the other day, but it doesn't really matter much, I've been too busy reviving people to waste time on aquiring a new one. –Xoid STFU! 12:26, 17 August 2006 (BST)

Um

[1] You have as long as it takes me to type up a vandalism report to explain to me WHY I shouldn't type up a vandalism report. Starting.....Now --SirensT RR 23:38, 19 August 2006 (BST)

Too late --SirensT RR 23:41, 19 August 2006 (BST)

Warning

Please do not vandalise this wiki. If you continue this behaviour, you may be banned from editing the wiki. Cyberbob  Talk  01:32, 20 August 2006 (BST)

An explanation: group pages are their property. You simply cannot touch them without the group's prior permission, with the exception of correcting typos, coding mistakes or fixing other minor errors of that nature. It's harsh, but without enough people actively scanning the wiki for vandalism, a zero-tolerance approach is the only real way to prevent matters on M/VB from piling up as people bitch back and forth. –Xoid STFU! 11:40, 20 August 2006 (BST)

Ah fair enough, I didnt think anyone would object as it was simply an edit to say 'The Invisibles' are not in Griggs only 'The (not quite so) Invisibles'. I did clearly mark it as edited and didn't think anyone would mind. However with your explanation in mind, I shall be sure not to do such a thing again. Cheers —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Jakeweber (talkcontribs) .

I have retracted this warning, as I feel your edit was in good faith. But my advice still stands: modifying a group page in such a way that the content or meaning of a sentence or anything like that is changed? Risky business, and not worth it. –Xoid STFU! 16:49, 22 August 2006 (BST)
Thanks for that xoid, much appreciated. Don't worry I wont do anything similar again, honestly didn't realise it would be a problem. --JakeWeber 16:55 22 August 2006 (BST)
Normally it wouldn't be, but I was sick and in a sour mood. You know...that mood where you just want to see someone burn? I have a history of it on this wiki. --SirensT RR 17:00, 22 August 2006 (BST)
No worries! Jakeweber 17:13, 22 August 2006 (BST)
'Ey, Weber. Just a tip: you can use the http://wiki.urbandead.com/skins/common/images/button_sig.png button, or ~~~~ four tildes to sign automatically. If you want the "W" capitalised, you can change your "nickname" under Special:Preferences. Hope that helps. –Xoid STFU! 17:05, 22 August 2006 (BST)
Ah thanks due to you again! I keep copying + pasting from old posts and forgetting to change the time. This should help, cheers! Jakeweber 17:13, 22 August 2006 (BST)
