Sub Pages
Well… we don't actually have the capability to make them here. (Not like with Wikibooks, for example. I would kill to get those features installed here.) The closest thing to it is like how the moderation pages are currently set up, and for all intents and purposes we treat them the same around here. "Moderation/Deletions", Moderation/Guidelines", etc. If you are worried about the new name that the page will have, just use the {{Custom Title}} to get around it. –Xoid S•T•FU! 16:28, 30 June 2006 (BST)
- Oh, just letting you know, I'd be happy to move your various ULC pages to sub-pages. If you want me to, leave me a message on my talk page.

ULC...?
Is it becoming a zombie group? I saw a post about this a few days ago, but I haven't seen any follow up. Just wondering - Bango Skank 23:27, 7 August 2006 (BST)
Hey!
You forgot Roftwood on your pub list! (I hear the Pendall Arms have some very Rare Ales...)--Canuhearmenow 14:23, 16 August 2006 (BST)
Page was formatted for a reason.
Thank you for messing up my group's page. (reverted) Leave it that way.

Boo
I've protected your sig, we've had a spate of vandalism recently and they are prime targets. If you need it modified, bug a moderator. –Xoid S•T•FU! 16:10, 4 October 2006 (BST)
- I can remove it, but your signature seems to be working fine. Or did you mean you stuffed the template up? If so, just modify the template so that it is fixed and I can recache your sig for you, fixing that. –Xoid S•T•FU! 16:15, 4 October 2006 (BST)
Fixed the nav on your sig. --Brizth M T 16:14, 4 October 2006 (BST)
- Odd, your message wasn't here when I asked him what was wrong, but your edit on the sig was. Nevermind. –Xoid S•T•FU! 16:18, 4 October 2006 (BST)
Pillsy, I noticed that you are not properly using your sig template as template. For example see mine and Xoid's signatures on this page (in edit mode). To do the same, set your signature as follows in your preferences:
{{nosubst|User:Pillsy/Sig}}
and it should work. --Brizth M T 16:24, 4 October 2006 (BST)
Lerwill Heights edit
Please take into consideration there may be active editing going on when the last modification was 4 minutes prior. You wiped out a lot of my formatting which I had to redo in order to edit out a minor personal preference. If you're not active in the Suburb editing the TOC location because 'it makes the page look like crap' should not apply. Changes reverted and formatting manually re-done. --Gimmic 17:02, 12 October 2006 (BST)
The Second Annual Malton Iditarod
You bet your ass there's going to be a second Iditarod! The exact shape of it is still in development. There are a lot of lessons learned from last year we want to incorporate into this year's drunken mayhem. For one thing there'll be a massive increase in the Iditarod staff. Perhaps as many as 4 or 5 staffers compared to the 1 and 1/2 that led last year. Certain traditions shall remain however. Like all Iditaroders who contact me by e-mail shall be welcomed onto the Iditarod with an mp3 of Fanfare for the Common Man. Being an Iditarod the exact date will probably be sometime in late December or whatever month seems to be the coldest. More to come when the official announcement is made, probably sometime in mid-November. Tyler Whitney0 03:11, 14 October 2006 (BST)

Newbie Questions
I made a User Sig page but when I use four tildes (~) it doesn't show up. How do you make four tildes mean use User:Bubbadick/sig like this -- BubbaT? Thanks.
Bubba 03:13, 31 October 2006 (UTC) <- This is from using the 4 tildes. No custom signature shows up.
RP List
Will you be using the separate page for the list or not? I'll take the parser offline tomorrow and start changing it and testing against the new page format. Thanks! --Gilant talk|DEM 23:08, 25 October 2006 (BST)
- Put it on the current page, then put a big notice at the top to take a vote on moving it?
Big problem (for me). The status is no longer available in the page source. I need to be able to parse out the current status. --Gilant talk|DEM 18:39, 28 October 2006 (BST)
- Hmm, looks like you could add a class to the div for status. But since each row has its own name that is more work than I can invest, particularly with a busted arm. :( --Gilant talk|DEM 19:36, 28 October 2006 (BST)
Not ready for prime time - Don' get me wrong the list is beautifuly presented. It is not that hard to update an existing RP after you learn the magic code {{xx2_whatever}}. It very much complicates adding and removing RP's. The phone mast templates on which this list has been based present a set of data that never changes. New phone masts do not come and go weekly. Hardcoding in the number of RPs annd their locations into the templates themselves is not really a good idea. Templates are better used to present information that never changes. The suburb, location name and coords should be being passed into the template aswell. Removing an RP from the middle of the list will prove no easier. After becoming familiar with the templates they are not that hard to work with. It does take quite a bit of learning curve before one understands how the nested includes play on one another. I will look at each of the templates again but my intital impression is that we don't want the average RP maintainer to be editing {{RevivePointAlpha}}. Users should be able to walk into Revivification Point and have a simple set of instructions to add a new RP or remove an RP that has been marked unknown too long. --Max Grivas JG / M.F.T. 19:18, 28 October 2006 (BST)
- Very good points. I just discovered all this myself trying to add the status into the source for parsing. The user definitely shouldn't need to do anything but copy an existing entry and edit the values of the template variables. ... I'm not sure how you managed the alternate line backround color changes, but if that table wrapper can just be defined on the RP page, then couldn't the template for a specific RP handle all the row stuff? On the RP page:
<table id="RevPnts" yada yada> {{RevPoint| var1=""| var2=""| }} {{RevPoint| var1=""| var2=""| }} </table>
- With the RevPoint template handling the row details. Delegating portions of the RevPoint template to subtemplates can be done with:
{{Template:RPStatus{{{var2}}}}}
- See the UBP's Barricade Plan template for a usage example. This would, I think, allow you to do what it looks like you are trying while letting each entry be it's own template call, making adding and removing entries easier. Very sorry I didn't notice the implementation detail earlier!—The preceding unsigned comment was added by Gilant (talk • contribs) 11:16, 29 October 2006 (UTC).
- You guys have no idea how right you are, why oh why did people wait till I had put into use to come up with these major faults. Well fuck it, I've set it back to the original and start again. Pillsy FT 11:16, 29 October 2006 (UTC)
- Um, because I'm a bit slow? It wasn't obvious as a problem to you either at first though, eh? ;) Seriously though, I am sorry. I knew you were using templates and just looked at the presentation and assumed you had sorted out the backend details for common usage already. I just didn't note the details on how the backbone was set up and its implications for users adding new RPs. I'll check out Daranz's prototype in a minute. --Gilant talk|DEM 13:21, 2 November 2006 (UTC)

RP List Version 2
The updated version looks parsable. Scanning for multiple tables is just a small amount of extra work, and the missing detail (status) is now available. I will request one change and inquire about considering another.
- First, right now the tables have id="RevPnt" as an attribute. An 'id' should ideally (IMHO) refer to a unique entity. Since this attribute is only used, AFAIK, for easily identifying the table, please just change id to class.
- Second, did you look at breaking the list down alphabetically? It may be that it isn't possible to get as even a breakdown, but if it comes close, I think users will find it much easier to locate their suburb.
Thanks again for your incredible efforts on this!!! --Gilant talk|DEM 17:17, 15 November 2006 (UTC)
- The id->class change is taken care of. :) Change is in Template:RevivePointHeader. --Gilant talk|DEM 20:32, 15 November 2006 (UTC)
- I think this really looks manageable now. If Gilant can parse it and it doesn't break zmmas lets try it. --Max Grivas JG / M.F.T. 13:19, 1 December 2006 (UTC)
TZH
You made a comment on the Team Zombie Hardcore Talk page. We claim that Covert Ops Wizard and Finnius are zerged alts. This is NOT just from circumstantial evidence. We have information from a third party that Finnius claimed to be his alt, as well there are language usage similarities noted very recently. As a highly coordinated group ourselves, organizing over gtalk and AIM, TZH does not make these accusations lightly. We waited until more substantial evidence was brought forth before we made the claim, as such, the claim stands. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Tiger Striped Dog (talk • contribs) at an unknown time.
