User talk:Redwave
I'm Back: Long time no see indeed. I was a bit bored so I decided to track you guys down. A day and a half to stand-up, walk accross the city, die, get revived, heal and walk more to find you is a pretty good run. I have no FAKs, almost no ammo and 1 revive syringe, plus no AP. Now I have to remeber how to edit this wiki as well. I will be sure to drop by your forums as well. -Wandering Insouciant 21:20, 21 April 2007 (EST)
Excellent job on voting for Tova! Now tell all your friends to vote for him too! Oh, and on a side note: I think your sig has to link to your user page, not your group. There's some rule or something...--Lachryma☭ 23:15, 8 April 2007 (BST)
Well then, it's the perfect excuse to make a user page! Redwave 23:19, 8 April 2007 (BST)
Never been a fan of rats actually. But I might fit one in... Redwave 23:24, 8 April 2007 (BST)
Try it now. Redwave 23:29, 8 April 2007 (BST)
Hey, you're in the same building as me! Let me know if you ever need a revive!--Lachryma☭ 23:43, 8 April 2007 (BST)
Now that you mention it, some of my guys do. NeWbeD, id=698967 died in Bale yesterday. I don't think he's in St Swithuns now, but if you see him it'd be great if you gave him a hand. Redwave 23:47, 8 April 2007 (BST)
- I'll check in an hour or so. If he's not there, I'll just revive some other random people.--Lachryma☭ 00:11, 9 April 2007 (BST)
Santlerville (Aid)
Thank you so much for listening and coming, yes, I did call and yes, I am desperate and I just got my Hospital back - which is good.
Anyway, if you look at the map for Santlerville, here's what's going on:
- The SW section has recently been retaken by survivors and is tentatively under control, though break-ins are frequent and there aren't enough medical staff to keep the survivors healthy.
- Ferals coming in from Yagoton and the NW suburbs are walking over the NW section, though The Knight Arms is a strong safehouse, under control by the Burchell Arms Regulars, the buildings at the top sometimes hold PK/GK/RK'ers in hiding and safehouses are occasionally broken into.
- Central Santerville is where the action is, the principal hospital, St. Columbanus's Hospital recently fell in the siege, this was a big blow as it was a very populated entry point (had 60+ survivors at the peak). Survivors are trying to retake it (and hold on to it).
- The Hall Building is the principal NT facility and the fall of the Hospital has added extra pressure on this building, this is one of the main targets for the horde.
- The Dewes Building is also under attack though horde numbers have fallen as they have spread out to attack other buildings.
- The horde has also been testing the strength of [[Dowdney Mall]. A recent major break-in in the SW corner was repelled but this combined with the fall of the Hospital has swelled the revive lines in the suburb.
- The NE section is pretty quiet but is important since it has the only Police Department at VSB for newbies and ammo
- The SE section is well protected, but break-ins are becoming very frequent at the Entry Points (The Anthony Building.
Take your pick of what you want to tackle. As you can see, we are having many problems at the moment and it isn't just a Mall siege. The whole suburb is under attack. I would recommend dropping by the forums for the Dribbling Beavers who are coordinating the survivor resistance. They have a public thread and they will be able to tell you where you are most needed.--Sunil 20:48, 20 May 2007 (BST)
Barhahville
Well, Stanbury Village has been decently quiet, so we probably won't need any help. In fact, we're planning on doing some nail salon stuffs in Ridleybank at some point, so maybe we'll see you around!--Lachryma☭ 10:25, 8 June 2007 (BST)
Bandoliers
Bandoliers are already suggested. You posted a double. It should be removed.-- Vista +1 15:21, 13 June 2007 (BST)
Requesting Aide
Reports have been confirmed that the LUE and Killer Zombie Tomatos are most likely headed towards Dowdney Mall for their own little mall tour. Tynte Mall fell in just under a day. Giddings Mall fell fast yesterday. It took them 16 minutes to breach. 22 hours before every survivor was killed. Afew days Hildebrand Mall fell again in less than one day. The forces these guys have put together are massive and deadly. Tynte defenders were shocked by the quickness and organized assaults set up by this force. I ask all of you to join us in defending the mall. If Dowdney falls they will likely head to Treweeke. Thanks for any support. This has the makings to go down as one of the great fights. Jaydepps 01:37, 15 July 2007 (BST)
Thanks
We may have a tough time with the revives because we are not big in that department. More of a combat orientated group. I will talk to the DITPS and see what they can do though. The vanilla coke will be easy to find at Dowdney Mall. Thanks for the support cya there. Jaydepps 21:09, 17 July 2007 (BST)
Shearbank News
Your efforts in covering the LUE incursion through Shearbank are appreciated. However, only put news items (like confirming the LUE id) in the news section of the page. News are things that have actually happened, reported from a N.P.O.V. Strategy suggestions, while valid, are not news and therefore don't belong in the news section. I moved your Whippey fallback (which a lot of the seasoned survivors are already doing) suggestion to discussion, where it actually belongs (albeit, you're sensible strategy will probably get drowned out in a bunch of complaining about zerging and the like, which also don't belong in news). Also, don't "respond" to news by indenting. Always top post. It's the way Shearbank's news is done, and discourages drama.--The Envoy 03:56, 9 August 2007 (BST)
RE: Hey, I remember you!
Hey! Yes, I'm glad you do, I requested your help in the final stages of the epic Battle of Santlerville. About your favours: I have two characters in different suburbs (Santlerville and Roftwood so I need to know which location you are on about before I can give you the info you're after.--Sunil 11:59, 18 August 2007 (BST)
- Yeah, I thought so, but since my character in Santlerville met you first I got confused. Anyway, there is a revive point at Turpin Road, if The Greenhow Building (NT Facility) is powered and operational, then it should be a good revive point but I haven't been across there for a while and don't know its status. Otherwise, you might have to go across the suburb to Swansborough Park, the NT Facility (1S - The Herbert Building) should definitely be powered and operational (I and my group just left there a few days ago) so you'll get fast(ish) revives there. As for mall rats - the trouble is that Hildebrand Mall is under attack and there have been many breaches. We simply don't have enough people in the area. Though Roftwood is now classed as "dangerous" we ought to revert back to code Red because of the attacks on the Mall. You will find me in St. Ethelbert's Hospital (EP) maintaining the building there and trying to keep a small horde out and a small group and set of newbies alive in this God forsaken burb.--Sunil 10:58, 19 August 2007 (BST)
Pegton, eh?
Pegton, eh? I'll keep that one in mind for our next Glorious Battle! Thanks for running around with the NMC in my absence, though! I never really intended to take off for so long, but it just kinda snowballed. I do hope you're still active, though! We could use a Classy ally Classing up the joint with his axe and shotgun. Come join us in Fort Perryn! It's a Glorious Battle and a half- and with BB2 possibly coming by to be slain, it could turn into another Blackmore (DARE I SAY?!) --Ron Burgundy 06:33, 15 November 2007 (UTC)
Calvary
We're coming. Send me a PM on the NMC boards and I'll give you details. --Sexy Rexy Grossman 19:07, 4 December 2007 (UTC)
Havercroft news
What the frig with that last post?? Was that 2 combined?? The last sentence, "we're all right now" ... dude, you know that's not for the News ... I was gonna fix it, but i don't know how without impersonation... You wanna make it NPOV, SVP? Merci. ;P --WanYao 12:49, 29 February 2008 (UTC)
I could just delete it, sure... But I like to actually TALK to people, you know, about stuff... And... yeah... if I see blatant pro-zombie, or pro-PKer bias ... I delete that, too. But if you're attached to a persecution complex.... no problem.... enjoy. Ciao now. --WanYao 08:30, 2 March 2008 (UTC)
