I've never been to any other of the cities other than Malton, but is it strange for there to be four districts that form a single geographic feature like a lake? I ask this, because I think it would create a lot of opportunities for roleplay and gameplay.--TheBardofAwesome 00:50, 8 March 2010 (UTC)

You're utterly and completely, hopelessly crazy.

But i'll bite. give me week to put together a few ideas. I thought the distinct terain / geography of Borehamwood was @^%$'n awesome! i'll see what i can picht in for your hairbrained idea -- Jack S13 T! PC 21:01, 23 December 2009 (UTC)

Hey Ross buddy, where can i find the templates for the different squares? I've got some neat ideas i'd like to throw around, and maybe do a rough draft and see what others think.... but, I can't really do a rough draft if I don't no what wiki code to punch in for what squares. let me know! oh, do you have a name for your new city yet? I propose Jacksburg ;), or Jackrossville, or Rossenjack City. you get what i'm drifiting at!!! lol -- Jack S13 T! PC 15:47, 24 December 2009 (UTC)
Not having much luck with the linkyou sent me, but i did get a start. My initial idea was a multi suburb military complex, complete with guard towers and transport road, but I'm not so sure about that now. anyway, here's a rough draft, the formating needs work, and there's alot to still be filled in. But click thelink if you want to see it in progress. The idea is a 2 level fortress called the Citadel. complete with it's own NT, and Amorys, barracks, and motor pool in each level. Dumping a body outside the Citadel would put the body out side the exterior gate house... there's a section for discussion underneath if you have any comments or ideas, the it'd be fun to hear what you think Jack S13 T! Onoz a real place

It's not 100% accurate (I've fudged relative locations and scale, but it's roughly a 5 mile by 5 mile square), but it's the little corner of the Befast where I be living. Every location links to the type of building it's to be treated as. And no I don't expect you to really care. Expect the city centre if I get bored enough later in the week. :P The sun shone, having no alternative, on the nothing new 22:37, 5 January 2010 (UTC)

suburb maps

how do you add suburb maps?--Lailai 13:53, 6 January 2010 (UTC)

Just copy the code for the first map on this page (it's all made of the same sqaure so it's a nice blank slate to start with. Then for each line of code, you replace the text '[[a field]]' with whatever you want the location to say. The colours for the squares go at the end of the line, replacing the word 'field' with whatever location you need it to be - hospital, police dept, fire station, and so on. Hit preview every couple of changes you make, so you can keep tabs on what it's turning out like. The sun shone, having no alternative, on the nothing new 14:27, 6 January 2010 (UTC)

Jade Court, Honey Axe Lane, Red Beaver Run, Apple Crest, Crystal Corner, Mink Lane, Misty Nook, Yellow Butterfly Edge, Blue River Bend, Wagon Way, Silver Terrace, and Dove Court are all middle class suburban streets. Baseball bats, fuel cans, lengths of pipe, and newspapers can be found here.

Eclipse is a club, but is to be treated as a gym.
Kubrick Memorial Theater has loot-able costumes and masks.

Grim River can be crossed.
Dean's BBQ Pit has beer, wine, mobile phones, newspapers, and very rarely shotguns.
McGuire Statue is a revivification point and can be spray-painted for 2xp.
Zephyre Bed and Breakfast is a small-scale hotel and has various clothes, newspapers, and wine but doesn't allow suicide or binocular usage.
Stony Bar is a sandy stretch of ground along the river and has very slim chances of finding wine, beer, mobile phones, or newspapers.
Stony Bar Boathouse is a wooden boathouse along the river and has flare guns.
Unemplementia Post Office has nothing of use except mail.
Jackson Historic Museum has various art, clothes, books, and wine.
Jackson Town Hall allows binocular usage and has the suburb radio tower.
Sheridan Fountains is tag-able for 2xp and is a revivification point.

Lucky X Lanes is a bowling alley, but serves no real purpose.
Diamond in the Rough Jewelery has wearable jewelry.
Mountain View Insurance is just for fluff.
Tostadas is a pub, but is really a Mexican restaurant. It has beer.

Replace East Jackson at #37, with this please. --TheBardofOld 05:04, 22 April 2012 (BST)

Notes

The Jackson Herald is the town newspaper, but since plain buildings don't have newspapers, this is purely for fluff.
Ole Brick Oven is a pub, but is to be treated as a pizza restaurant. It has beer, wine, mobile phones, newspapers, and very rarely shotguns.
Construction sites are a version of empty wastelands with construction machinery, tools, toolboxes, etc.
The Rob Zed Building is the town Necrotech institution. It also has the suburb radio tower and allows binocular usage.
Blue Bottle Brewery is just that, a brewery.
Jackson Farmers Market is just a large chunk of wasteland that would be otherwise used as an open-air bazaar.
Rebellion is the gothic/punk shop that is usually found inside a mall. It also has kilts, masks, and hats.
Routers 'R Us is the technology store that is usually found inside a mall.
Quick Aid is a pharmacy and has seasonal items in addition to med kits, wine, newspapers, etc.
Red's Firearms is a gun store and has clips, shotguns, shotgun bullets, pistols, etc.
The Hermione Fountains are taggable for 2xp and is a revivification point.
Country Dance Hall is just a country-themed club. Think Roundhouse.
Teenybopper Diner is a 1950's/60's themed diner.
Starlight Drive-In Concessions is the food vendor for the drive-in theater. It has wine, beer, and candy.
Starlight Drive-In is an outdoor, drive-in movie theater. It would be a carpark, but carparks don't have movie screens.
Bob's Gas has petrol, candy, and tools.
Fort Miranda Recruitment Center is the Jackson recruiting and communications office to Fort Miranda in New Town. It's pure business and doesn't have weapons.
Freight Depot is just a warehouse.
Fort Miranda Army Surplus is a army surplus store and has old army fatigues. Nothing else.
Fort Miranda Reserves is a small army reserves barracks. It has low search rates for guns, body armor, and new fatigues.

Notes

Jackson Recycling Plant, McKinley Pottery Factory, Smith Iron Mill, and Smith Steel Mill are just standard factories.
Davidson County Water Treatment Plant is an alternate version of a power station. It doesn't have much except toolboxes and tools. For the most part, this is just for flavor. I can't imagine anyone really going the extra mile to keep this building intact, unless it's going to be cleaned, watched for zombies, and urinating vandals.
Freight Depots are just warehouses.
Wallflower Apartments Garage is just a standard parking garage of cars. Not much can be found.
Home Station is the equilivent to the modern-day Home Deport or Lowe's. Tools, generators, etc.
The Phelmer Statue can be tagged for 2xp.
Hudson Rock Quarry and Iron Mine are alternate versions of wastelands filled with machinery, mine carts, tools, toolboxes, and even though they're not implemented, dynamite.
Rail Yard Offices is the freight yard management center building. It doesn't have much in the way of useful, but it has the suburb radio tower.
Steel Pick Bar is a pub.
The Williams Statue can be tagged for 2xp and is a revivification point.

The bridge is a revivification point.
Amber Goods is a general store. Binoculars, beer, wine, books, newspapers, candy, first aid kits, and knives can be found. Fir trees and pumpkins can also be found when in season.
The beach is just a sandy beach along the shore of Alice Pond. Players have very slim chances of finding wine, beer, mobile phones, or newspapers.

The paddocks are just fenced-in fields. They have nothing.

Bendur's Heap is, obviously, a junkyard.
The glades are just open fields, encapsulated by forest.

Moe's Trailer Park office has nothing of use.
The pig pen is a fenced-in mud pit and is a revivification point.
The old textile factory is in ruins. It cannot be fixed or barricaded.
The water tower allows binocular usage and suicide.
