==Students' Questions and/or Concerns==

Pull up a chair and have your say! If you're a student or prospective student, this is where your comments go.

I'm thinking about traveling back to South Blythville/Greentown this week, after spending a few weeks in Dulston. I'm thinking about joining and got a few questions:

*Judging by your medic runs page, I guess you don't have to stay in the hospital 24/7. Is this true? Do you send members to help out during battles or sieges?
*After completing a degree, is it possible to do further study, or become a professor :P
*I see that your group is fairly newbie-focused. My [http://www.urbandead.com/profile.cgi?id=1306318 character] is a max-ed out survivor, so is that a problem?

Thanks in advance for your reply. Hope to be back at MCM later this week.

:link, we'll be glad to see you there! We are very newbie-centered, but we really need experienced people too. Since we train people up without bias, we lose a lot of people who move on to be helpful members of other groups. We're proud of our graduates, but we do need to constantly recruit. People with all survivor skills are "graduate students". As far as becoming a professor, once you are a graduate student, we'll talk. We need new faulty members, so there's a decent chance if you fit in well.
== You, were 'my' pleasure ==

:You are certainly not expected to stay in the hospital 24/7, although you'll need to sleep there a lot of the time to keep up with what's happening. We pass a lot of information in-game. Since we train survivors, we encourage students to help out the surrounding area to the best of their ability. It's good practice, and good XP!
The talking down you gave me after I flashed you the teeth, I will remember for the rest of my in-game life. You taught me a few lessons those few days I spent in the campus, and for that, I thank you. [[image:content.gif]]<br>

:If you want to officially join MCM, we need you to register at our  [http://maltonmedicine.forummotion.com/forum.htm new forum] and speak to us in-game in MCM to begin the process. We have a getting-to-know you period which is longer or shorter depending on how much you interact with us. We're a chatty bunch, so you'll have plenty of opportunities to interact. Some time back, by [[User:Asheets|CRES Doctor]] noticed the [[The Big Prick]] was beginning to stagnate, leading him to put out a call for individuals interested in helping TBP move forward. I have volunteered my services to help this happen. In my humble opinion, the idea behind the formation of TBP was among the more unique in Malton's history. In its time, it broke up the monotony that was quickly setting in and gave adventurous individuals a chance to try something new. It also helped de-stigmatize people regarding combat revives and make Malton a place where those of dual nature could have a chance to explore their separate agendas. As many of these issues are not as large as they once were, it may seem we have reached a time when Malton no longer needs The Big Prick. I say, it's not all about being needed. Do you still enjoy reviving zombies? Is your first response at a break-in to check for brain rot?  Mine is. Being a prick is not a job, it is part of who we are, and though it may not need us in the same way that it once did, with the rise of Apathy and the decline of survivor groups in Malton, the city cannot afford to lose the Big Prick. Accordingly, I have begun reworking some of the format of TBP pages including a [[User:A.schwan/sandbox/TBPretool|retool of the main page]] and the introduction of [[User:A.schwan/sandbox/TBPretool/members|and achievement system]] that will let pricks gain recognition on their own time on their own terms. As a person who still chooses to fly the colors of TBP, I would appreciate your feedback on my talk page or [http://s4.zetaboards.com/bigprick/index/ on the TBP forum]Thank you for your time and may your syringes never be blunted.

: We'd love to have you check us out and see if it's a good fit. We are anti-drama within the group, although we do have our fair share of griefers. ====Something to think about in North Blythville====
It's been mentioned to me you guys from St George are working to recover [[North Blythville]].  You might want to add your group to the survivors section on North Bly's page.  It'd be somewhat presumptious to do it for you, particularly since my information is 2nd or 3rd hand.  If the MCM is a subset of 10mfh, you can add that image too, indented underneath like DEM, on the [[South Blythville|south bly]] page.  (again I assume you guys work the Gee revive point as well as random healing and Nicols revive point.)  I also responded to your post on the Pippard forums.  It really shouldn't be that big a deal to get your boy revived.

The tinyurl for the [http://tinyurl.com/5zm5kq Pippard Revive Request forum] is http://tinyurl.com/5zm5kq .  Again, just a thought....--[[User:Jack's Cold Sweat|Jack&#39;s Cold Sweat]] 15:47, 10 June 2008 (BST)

:Thank you, Jack. I'll see what I can do in my spare time. Our boy managed to get revived somehow. I appreciate your help! --{{User:Violet B/sig}} 18:16, 10 June 2008 (BST)

If your dead serious about getting North Blythville online and back into survivor hands than the Manei Domini is at your service. I'd also suggest that you get ahold of both the [[Olney Miltia]] and the [[Bandit Queens]]. I've personally worked with both survivor groups in the past and i can honestly say they're pretty damn good. I'd also like to talk to you in a more closed setting about the having [[Team Zombie Hardcore]] members on your DNR list.---[[User:Rob Lefter|Rob Lefter]] 12:22AM 12 June 2008 {BST}
:Ron, I'm not ignoring you - the president of the college and I are in discussion on that matter already, and we have to iron out a few details. greylyn will be your contact for that, if he hasn't contacted you already. I have my hands full diplomacy-wise already. And thanks for the suggestion about NB area groups, but we already have a diplomat who works with Olney Militia and the Bandit Queens. --{{User:Violet B/sig}} 00:32, 14 June 2008 (BST)

===A Request===
Recently, a certain Officer S. J. has applied to join the Knights' illustrious ranks. I understand that this man has, recently, been attacking your educational establishment. Now that he wears the mask, this activity is expected to cease promptly. In the interests of keeping the relationship between our organizations smooth, and in order to observe the progress of our new, already trigger-handy members, do notify me via my talk-page should he recontinue his previously disruptive activities. Thank you, and Praise Knowledge. --{{User:DT/Signature}} 02:36, 17 September 2008 (BST)

===Brian Mercat===
I'm curious, why is he expelled? {{User:Dr Cory Bjornson/Sig}}  04:41, 7 January 2009 (UTC)

:He bounties in MCM repeatedly, and after enjoying our hospitality and the protection of the neutral zone. He does so stating every time that he will never respect the neutral zone, and will never stop killing people there. He's killed quite a few people. Now when he kills, he can't stay there and expect others to respect a code he abuses.--{{User:Violet B/sig}} 04:50, 7 January 2009 (UTC)

===DinkyE===

Hey Violet. Jose Cojones here, well he's one of my alts. Just wanted to apologize again for asking people to kill your friend DinkyE, calling him names, putting a shell in him myself. And to let you know I have an account here, so we can discuss it further if need be.

I'm terribly sorry. I hope you understand my mistake. We were not XP farming him, we were ''killing'' him, I was building up 2 APs to finish him and dump him, imagine how frustrated I was when I saw him healed back. It's his bloody [http://www.ud-malton.info/rg/i/1006305 record], Violet, that ''really'' needs to be cleaned. Look we've got PKers in Marven shooting people every day: Joshes, Hans Von Ass, necrobama, to name three of the top of me head - and that last one deserves even worse than we did your friend.

Ah well. Again, do send him my apologies. I really feel bad about this. Cheers. [[User:Hashk|Hashk]] 20:11, 9 February 2009 (UTC)

:I know there are lots of PKers in Malton, and I know about his record. That actually isn't a very big bounty for a Rummer. I have friends who are mods on the Rogue's Gallery, so I'm very aware of how many PKers there are. PKers in the immediate of vicinity of St. George's Hospital are often there to interact with MCM. Not always, but often.

:I don't think much of necrobama, either, Jose, given that he's on the Ignore List. I'm not familiar with the other two.

:I guess my point is that simply existing with a bounty and sitting in the same building as someone else shouldn't be cause for people to treat you badly. Plus, when you treat everyone well, you get PKed a lot less. Yes, some people will still be asses and PK you anyway, but in general you won't be PKed as much when you stop killing other people without just cause. Furthermore, a lot of PKers kill problem survivors preferentially. I had an alt in an NT in the northeast a few days ago, and someone began spewing the most absurd sexist garbage, offending every female in the building. The guy had no bounty, so until a PKer stepped in, no one could shut him up. (No, my alt wasn't a/the PKer.) If you check Raharu's lecture on the Ignore List on our textbooks page, you'll see that PKers were and are a large part of the solution to silencing text rapists.

:I'll point him to this page, Jose. Thank you!--{{User:Violet B/sig}} 21:41, 9 February 2009 (UTC)

::And thank you for your quick reply Violet. Of course I understand your point, know all about the ignore list. I haven't actually been PKed all that much, but the last one was really aggravating - I won't bore you with the details. I guess I was just too edgy: spent all my AP shooting and clearing bodies in Pippard, barely escaped your hospital, found a safehouse after spending 1 hour outside with the MOB... and a KOS in there. Well, that, and Jose is a bit of a loudmouth heh, my other alt is much more polite. DinkyE, when you read this: very sorry mate, I'll buy you a beer some time if you let me. And I really didn't want Ankle Grab that much, that was just me trying my best to be an ass :D --[[User:Hashk|Hashk]] 22:50, 9 February 2009 (UTC)

==Greetings From Team Xtreme!==
Hello, I am the Leader of Team Xtreme and am glad you brought this to my attention but... Agent ANGEL is not one of ours. She even spells Extreme different from our Xtreme, we don't have a E in our name. Our Team Xtreme is well aware of the Malton College of Medicine. We are currently attending the Malton Block Party. Also we would never use the radio to announce our meet up location due to the fact that we have enemies who would love to kill us! We use our Forum and those of us who live near each other use the Phone. I don't know if this Team Extreme is a false Team used to make us look bad, or a real team with a simular name. Agent ANGEL I see is level 1 and was recently created. But that is for us to look into. Thanks again but yeah that wasn't us. --[[User:Josh Clark|Josh Clark]] 20:15, 24 September 2008 (BST)

:You're welcome, and I'm glad you aren't that foolish. *tips hat with a smile* Team Xtreme is, as I said, always welcome in MCM. --{{User:Violet B/sig}} 21:43, 24 September 2008 (BST)

== Clearing shit up. ==

1st off, I didn't start killing MCM guys cause of you. Srsly. Dipcup and some other rummers were killing DEM in the area, so I headed over. I couldn't find any, and MCM was the closest thing to the DEM, so k. Second, I glanced at your wiki page once and saw that George's hospital was Do Not Kill, but I missed that the warehouse was too. I quote "The faculty of MCM reserves the right to expel problem individuals given sufficient warning and just cause." All that is fine and dandy and shit, but I didn't get a warning. Bias? Maybe. Lack of paying attention? Maybe.--{{User:WOOT/sig}} 23:38, 29 March 2009 (BST)

:Hey Rakuen. So MCM is DEM-like? *boggles* Okay, I guess they do both have three letters in the abbreviation and the last one is M, so I see your point... sorta. But more seriously, to the warning... Yes, we usually give a warning, but if the threat is considered sufficient, we'll protect ourselves. I'm sorry if you feel you weren't adequately warned. I guess you should officially consider yourself warned now, but a tad more politely, perhaps? *passes a cookie with the warning* I would genuinely appreciate it if you would please stop killing my people. Would you like a cup of punch to go with your cookie?--{{User:Violet B/sig}} 07:27, 30 March 2009 (BST)
::Yea, well, I started with the Fortress, who are much more similar to the DEM than you guys are, but I got bored with them so I moved on to you guys. lawl n stuff. Yea, it wasn't the fact that I got killed, makes sense, but the instant move to DNR seemed somewhat unfair. I might stop killing you guys... or not :/. No Punch, thanks anyway.--{{User:WOOT/sig}} 22:39, 30 March 2009 (BST)
:::PS: I bit you lolol--{{User:WOOT/sig}} 22:49, 30 March 2009 (BST)
::::LOL on the biting. I bite people all the time, so nibble away! For the DNR, if you'll agree to stop killing us, I'll immediately remove you from the DNR list. Until then, I really can't, although I genuinely would like to. *shrugs* It's up to you - whatever you choose. --{{User:Violet B/sig}} 14:36, 31 March 2009 (BST)
:::::Sure, I guess. Also: # Thesham said "oh Mr Killer, how I hope you've been 'bad' xD" (yesterday)
:::::<nowiki>#</nowiki> Thesham said "xD You're not even listed as a hostile what a noob xD omg my head hurts from disappointment" (yesterday)

==[[User:Alexander Karelin|Alexander Karelin]] speaks to you!==
Hello, I am Alexander Karelin, big strong! I request dialogue about agreement break. You say I not suplex little medical students and I welcome in Hospital of yours with Electricity. But then students of yours attack Karelin! And then I am no longer allowed it! I not break agreement and you punish anyway! Then when I am big angry zombie man, you say I still break rule! I want acknowledgment from ''smart'' dean of school that you were ones who break deal! Even Karelin is much surprised that he not break deal first! More violence happens in hospital of yours than in any block in district!

:You killed people. Repeatedly. You did it as a survivor, and after we left you alone. And you were foul. --{{User:Violet B/sig}} 23:54, 5 May 2009 (BST)

::That not happen. You are one who made foul when broke rule. Asshole Doctor kill me when I do nothing but broadcast good news. Know this! I not break contract! I would much say if I did, with much pride! But it not happen! You are not correct in your conviction. How is it that Asshole Doctor is able to kill Karelin when he does nothing, but when I return favor to face of his, then it not allowed! Foolish! --[[User:Alexander Karelin|Alexander Karelin]] 02:36, 6 May 2009 (BST)

:::You were TRYING to get him and others to kill you by insulting him and others repeatedly, and by being a radio griefer. You were admirably successful in provoking him, I do have to admit. You should congratulate yourself on your success there, not blame me for the consequences of your own behavior. --{{User:Violet B/sig}} 07:33, 6 May 2009 (BST)

:::: Radio Grief? I had good show! Good ratings! You are much adorable when you say you admire Karelin! I take over St. George when you gone! I teach back surgery! I make plenty of patients!<br>
::::Maybe yes I coerce attack. I not see how that different from Philosophe Knight attacking teammate of mine, or Qbee offering me poorly prepared cookie! It still not grounds for pavement lunch on neutral ground, no? Know this! Alexander Karelin had much fun at MCM! I not like getting kicked out of club! I do put blame on you, little Violet! Or should rather I say... VERY VIOLENT! Haha! I still funny! Balls To Whalls. --[[User:Alexander Karelin|Alexander Karelin]] 18:18, 7 May 2009 (BST)

:I not aware that new MCM policy is to attack strong, beloved citizens for simply speaking truth! Not very nice! -- [[User:Alexander Karelin|Alexander Karelin]] 16:23, 13 May 2009 (BST)

:: *mechanical whir* We're sorry, but MCM is on a field trip and isn't taking calls or messages right now. Have a nice day. *click*--{{User:Violet B/sig}} 07:49, 14 May 2009 (BST)
