Insertion Into Malton

Leon was part of a strike team that was inserted into Ridleybank - in the early stages of the outbreaks - to span out and control the zombie hordes from the inside. His helicopter was shot down by an undetermined hostile group, and being the only one remaining conscious from the crash, with an unconscious teammate slung over his shoulders, he made haste to find shelter. Several hours later, the chopper was raided by zombies - there were no survivors.

The shambles that remain of his military life still cling to his soul, and he seeks to rebuild and destroy the slowly-overpowering undead legions. As the commander of the Omen Of Darkness zombie hunter team along with his rescued comrade, he lies dormant in the southern sectors of Malton, waiting for his time to strike. He knows that soon it will be this zombie hunting unit that will give light back to this anarchist city where there is none. And he knows that he must be a radical revolutionist to make the change that he knows must happen, and soon. He will do anything for success, including paying the price of life.

Omen Of Darkness

Description

The fledgling squadron known as Omen Of Darkness is - of course - not well known to many in Malton. The group became first active when Leon and his ally (rescued from the chopper wreckage) realized that this city was a lost cause; and in a last ditch effort to go all-out and save this godforsaken city, they are attempting to rally the last shreds of fighting spirit the population has left and fight back the ever-growing hordes.

Omen Of Darkness is an Urban Warfare-based group that bases it's operations around the concept that pushing straight forward and clearing out one suburb at a time is the path to success for the survivors that remain. The group's numbers remain small enough to split into two separate strike teams (which is around 15-20 members at the time of this writing), and the numbers are slowly growing.
