Suggestion description
Basically this suggestion is to make bombs. The first way would involove putting together the bomb with a toolbox, fuel can and shotgun shell, the player then places the device on the ground in his current location (message would be something along the lines of: "You place the device in the corner of the room" and afterwards you would have something like "You are inside St. Columbanus's Hospital. There is a Generator Running here and a home made bomb in the corner of the lobby"), you could then set off the bomb dealing the nearest 15 players (survivor and zombie) on the square a 50% chance of taking 5HP of damage (including the user), also, if you're inside a building the description is edited for one day (e.g. "You are inside St. Columbanus's Hospital. The lobby is strewn with debris and the walls are scorch marked.), all other features of the building such as generators, radio transmitters, barricades, etc. will remain the same. To counteract the "Multiply It By A Billion" rule only one bomb could be placed on each square and you must be on the same square as the fuel can to shoot it. You could also remove the bomb from the square if you dont want it to be there, perhaps remove the shell from the can or throw it out the window. You will only be able to carry one of these devices in your inventory at any one time, this will limit its use in large numbers to an acceptable level.
The second way would be to add a fuse to the fuel can and throw it like a weapon, this would have the same rules and effects apply as shooting the fuel can only its more portable. Again the "Multiply It By A Billion" rule must be negated so you can only throw these bombs at others on your square and the nearest 15 are affected, including the thrower.
Of course restrictions would have to apply to this to keep it fair, first of all this could be added as a 'Zombie Hunter' skill, to stop it from being used by all the players in UD, also, any player without this skill that attempts to set it off gets back a message saying You don't know how to set the bomb off. every time, they would lose 1 AP. The chance that the bomb goes off (40%, this is the bombs equivalent of accuracy) and could heighten this chance by gaining new skills to improve the likelihood of explosions, damage, etc. After a home made bomb has been used a message displaying who used it will be displayed to everyone else, e.g." i see dead peoples placed a home made bomb in the corner" or "i see dead peoples set of the bomb in the corner. it explodes in a ball of flames." or "i see dead peoples threw a home made bomb at the zombie. It explodes with a deafening BOOM!"
The skills tree for this suggestion is as follows:
- Bomb making (allows the player to create bombs with a toolbox, fuel can and shotgun shell)
- Explosives training (increases the damage dealt by explosives to 8HP)
- Explosives expert (increases blast radius from 15 to 17 people)
- Reliability (increases the likelihood of an explosion from 40% to 60%)
- Explosives training (increases the damage dealt by explosives to 8HP)
Of Course, this is only an idea and any suggestions, especially suggestions to help me further negate the "Multiply It By A Billion" rule, would be appreciated and acknowledged. Also, suggestions for more realistic home made bombs with existing UD items would be appreciated. Thanks.
Note: For those of you who misunderstood, this is a player activated device, not a trap.

Keep Votes
- Weak keep - could be fun, just change it to the actual person who sets it off has a 100% chance of losing 5 HP (they're in a direct line of sight) and i'll fully support it.(fixed it up a little for you)--Zach016 21:17, 13 November 2007 (UTC)
- Keep - Remove this, fix the formatting, and resubmit it looking spiffy, and you'd probably get a fair amount of support. Nalikill TALK E! W! M! USAI 22:24, 13 November 2007 (UTC)
- NOTE - Trolling based vote struck. Do not vote keep for the sole purpose to avoid spamination. --The Grimch U! E! WAT! 04:35, 14 November 2007 (UTC)

Kill Votes
- Kill - Unlike a lot of you, I actually read it. No bombs.-- AHLGTG THE END IS NIGH! 21:42, 13 November 2007 (UTC)
- Kill - I too read it... its still not good, in fact if anything its worse because now its given me a headache!--Honestmistake 21:48, 13 November 2007 (UTC)
- Kill - doesn't make sense. If there was obviously a bomb in one corner of a building, people would just stay the hell away from it, not crowd around it waiting to get caught in a blast. --Pavluk A! E! 23:16, 13 November 2007 (UTC)
Spam/Dupe Votes
- Spam - I'm not reading this shit. Present it in a not awful way. --Druuuuu 20:07, 13 November 2007 (UTC)
- I read it. Spam vote still justified. --Druuuuu 00:01, 14 November 2007 (UTC)
- Spam - Come back when you're willing to actually take the time to add your suggestion right instead of lazily copying an absurd amount of content from Talk:Suggestions. If it's not worthy your time, it's not worth ours.--Karekmaps?! 21:19, 13 November 2007 (UTC)
- Spam I'm not reading this fucking mess. Also if you're going to copy paste, at least fix the index levels. – Nubis 21:33, 13 November 2007 (UTC)
- This suggest is crap. Now...where'd did I put those claymores? --•▬ ▬••▬ • •••• •▬ ▬•▬• ▬•▬ #nerftemplatedsigs 21:53, 13 November 2007 (UTC)
- Spam - No area attacks. --The Hierophant 22:39, 13 November 2007 (UTC)
- Spam - 136 damage, 60% to hit. No. --Funt Solo QT 23:12, 13 November 2007 (UTC)
- Spam - this was spam in the help pages, and is still spam. also, it is also way too bloody long to read in full. deal with it. --WanYao 23:41, 13 November 2007 (UTC)
- Spam - No area of effect! this is pointless and absurd, it would only be used by PKr's so just go die in hole plz (sorry but this really is a bad idea) oh, I did read it by the way--Blobdude 23:47, 13 November 2007 (UTC)
- Spam As above. Omega 00:11, 14 November 2007 (UTC)
- Spam Only if I can get a suggestion approved in which zombies can suicide-bomb in buildings for 50% damage and infection on the nearest 13 humans (with skills to improve to 70% and 16 nearest humans). In other words, no way, totally overpowered.CharonX 04:24, 14 November 2007 (UTC)
