Issues with the rangers and stuff can be posted below.
Nice work!
Thanks for the work you're doing helping to restore the southwest. Stop by Tikhon Medical's headquarters for a bowl of cheesy poofs when you're able. - Uncle Elbert 15:53, 27 August 2008 (BST)
- It's our pleasure to clean up the southwest and we may just have to take you up on that sometime, although you may regret inviting the Rangers over later. :D--Lord Wulfgar 16:08, 9 September 2008 (BST)
Another impersonator?
I just want to make sure - is he a real member of your group?
Thanks --
00:06, 12 May 2008 (BST)
- Yes he is a real member of the Malton Rangers although he hasn't been that forum active lately. Is there some sort of problem with him we should know about?--Lord Wulfgar 06:19, 14 May 2008 (BST)
South Paynterton Aces
On behalf of the South Paynterton Aces, I thank you, the Malton Rangers, for kicking serious zombie butt and helping reclaim the Gracewood Building, the Packe Building, the Casely Building, and St. Lazarus Church, four of the most important buildings within Aces territory. For so long as I am one of the leaders of the Aces, the Rangers will always be welcome in Paynterton and Starlingtown, lauded as heroes and treated to revives and free beer. You guys are my heroes, and I thank you. -- Diano 06:08, 24 January 2008 (UTC)
- It was nothing Diano, we were just doing what Rangers do best. Nice to have some new friends though, we may have to take you up on the free beer sometime. Good luck in your future battles.--Lord Wulfgar 06:44, 24 January 2008 (UTC)
Malton Ranger Imposter?
Hey im Spencer J and recently I witnessed a "Malton Ranger" PK a member and then destroy a genny. Is this person part of your group? http://urbandead.com/profile.cgi?id=979878
- No he is not a part of our group, he was just using our name at the time evidently. He has been added to the Ranger black list.--Lord Wulfgar 02:04, 14 January 2008 (UTC)
This is Zasper, A week or 2 ago I had Wutafreek http://urbandead.com/profile.cgi?id=930039 Shoot me a couple times while [I was] defending the Morrish Building NT in Pitneybank. Don't know if it was mistargetting or he was PKing and ran out of AP. I was about to return the favor, when I decided to check out his group. Since you guys aren't a PK group, deciding to let you know, and let you deal with it.
Well, nevermind, he joined LUE. Guess I should of put this in a new section to get a response.
- Sorry you didn't get a response sooner. Thanks for letting us know, a couple of LUE members have been using the Malton Rangers as cover lately.--Lord Wulfgar 17:53, 3 February 2008 (UTC)
- It's how we show affection. --Zombie in Pajamas 03:11, 23 February 2008 (UTC)
Staging Point, Courtesy of the Aardwolves
So I'm hearing you guys want to take back Bale and Stickling. I told you we'd be working together in the future General. So we've decided to offer up our current safehouse as a stageing point into Yagoton. We're in the Challenger Crescent PD in the core of East Boundwood. It's been held open for 4 days now. Drop by if you can, we've even got the hospital next door open for triage. I'll post if we're overrun, so it you don't see an update we're still there. Hope I didn't bring too many more down on us with this... Redwave 03:19, 4 April 2007 (BST)
Update: The PD is being abandoned in favor of the hospital. 50+ horde outside that you won't have to deal with at the least.
The U.S. ARMY INFANTRY needs your help

TechCom
Hi there. I'm the leader of TechCom, a group that's currently operating in neighboring Darvall Heights. I just wanted to let you know that I'm trying to get our old revive point back into service at Bonville Drive, which is on the border of Darvall and Eastonwood. I just wanted to extend the offer of if you guys ever need a revive, feel free to visit the revive point.--JustinMullins 07:04, 4 February 2007 (UTC)
Aardwolf Rangers
Hello fellow Rangers! I'm replying to your post on our discussions page, and I hope we can look forward to a healthy working relationship. Right now we're waging the long war to restore Pitneybank, mostly by barricade and run at the moment. If any of your members might wander by our secret base located in Hamlen Auto Repair in Pegton, the help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers! Redwave 22:04, 8 January 2007 (UTC)
- We May be along that way in the near future, right now we're fighting in caiger.--General Lee A. Dickhole Malton Rangers 01:53, 9 January 2007 (UTC)
Joining: In response to your offer of membership in the Rangers, I talked it over with the guys. The response was a definate "nah". We're freelancers and rouges of the best kind. Being tied down, (even to a totally nomadic free range search and destroy group such as yourselves), doesn't appeal to us so much. We'll be in the thick of things though, so we'll probably meet again. Cheers! Redwave 02:22, 3 February 2007 (UTC)

Cybele's Children
Well thank you for taking the time to introduce yourself, um, dickholeguy... And thank you, I'm trying my best to even out the ratios... I'm afraid I'm not too fond of cooking any sort of elaborate meals... In fact, before the outbreak, I was living on a steady diet of microwave-ready food. As for your other comment, for the most part I don't tell my girls who to hit and who not to hit. Even if I did, asking me not to kill your members is like an open invitation to do so, you know? If someone asks us not to do someting, we're a little more prone to do it than we were before, just because someone had the audacity to try and comment on what we should and should not be doing. Simple? I think it is, at least. Though I have to ask, if you're the leader of the Rangers, what happened to Major Grippy? Last I heard, he was leading up this group. In any case, thank you for at least taking the time to comment, even if most of it wasn't very classy... Torec T-CC 19:01, 7 December 2006 (UTC)
- Grippy left for the evil that is NW. Anyway, you have to pardon my unclassiness, I Think we can get to be good friends, but as for killing, I'm a lover not a fighter...kinda --Dickhole The Great 21:34, 7 December 2006 (UTC)
Ridleybank ZKers
Just an FYI, as at least one of us is in the same area (Nichols Mall) right now, your group might want to take note of our members (those listed on our group page) as pro-survivor zombies, if only to avoid wasting bullets on us in favor of the RRF and what-all-else. Again, our tactics should keep us out of your way most of the time, but you might like to be able to recognize us when we show up to contribute to defense, as we did at Blackmore. All best--One Angry Zed 01:43, 3 January 2007 (UTC)
- Thank you for the kind welcome, and glad to know I was something of a familiar (if rotting) face. On behalf of our small (but hopefully growing) and loosely organized group, I accept your offer of alliance, and look forward to battling the hordes with you and the fine Malton Rangers. --One Angry Zed 07:22, 4 January 2007 (UTC)
- If you can give us profile links, I'll put them on Spare lists--General Lee A. Dickhole Malton Rangers 06:08, 6 January 2007 (UTC)
- The three profile links I am comfortable with posting are on the main RZK page--a function of my trust for and the long-term performance of those individuals rather, to be specific. That said, if one of us gets shot, our policy is never to retaliate (excepting, as noted, RRF Gore Corps members), so the worst case scenario is that your guys burn up ammo and AP best spent on anti-survivor zombies, which isn't good, but not the end of the world. Basically, we're grateful for being spared if you can manage it, but the last thing we want to do is hurt the survivor cause or waste your time maintaining/checking profiles. --One Angry Zed 07:35, 6 January 2007 (UTC)
- Fair enough. I'll let you knwo on the ridleybank Zker page when (not if) we go back into ridleybank--General Lee A. Dickhole Malton Rangers 07:47, 6 January 2007 (UTC)

thanks, we appreciate your willing to help. actually, we were first to join ssz and the whole alliance started much due to our enthusiasm (at that time zone defenders were something about 5-7 people, with ambitious plans and not much besides). i'll register at that forum shortly --Duke Garland 21:02, 31 January 2007 (UTC)

Radio page updates
I notice that you have listings on both 27.05 and 27.06. Are either (or both) of these correct? Also, I'd recommend releasing the 27.05 listing, so that Malton Angels can be on their own (those of us working on Radio page are trying to reduce sharing, now that there are spare freqs.) Thanks, and let me know! Asheets 18:49, 7 February 2007 (UTC)
Mobile Phone status maintenance
I'd like to put out a general call to your membership for updating the phone mast status page at http://wiki.urbandead.com/index.php/Mobile_Phone_Mast#Locations for the locations they pass through. AND, if they'd like to maintain the masts, that would be great, too. Sincerely, your friends at MalTel and Asheets 21:47, 14 February 2007 (UTC)
- We're trying to keep them up. I can tell you for certain that the one in shearbank is up, and we'll try to maintain it while we're there, but we aren't tied down to one suburb. --Darth Cheney Malton Rangers 22:31, 14 February 2007 (UTC)
Re: Ultimatum Delivered from Known Anti-American Terrorist, DHG
We received the following under your leader's signature:
- Heres what you can do to get you and HH off my shit list, and therefore not get targeted anymore
- Stop Spraying shit and do something.
- Post an apology on the Rangers wiki for being a REDACTED.
- Not going to say how I'll stop it, but I'm a man of my word, and if you comply with my terms, you'll live.
- If you don't comply, the killings will only intensify in frequency. --Darth Cheney Malton Rangers 03:17, 19 February 2007 (UTC)
Following U.S. State and Defense Dept. Policy, USIT does not negotiate with terrorists. Your assassination efforts against American operatives who have enaged in no lethal hostilities marks you as enemy combatants and thereby subject to U.S. international terrorism statutes.
Even your logic follows the misguided thinking of terrorist thugs more interested in their own criminal survival than any belief in your cause. You claim to be in Shearbank to fight MT07. However you claim graffiti, that you still have not convincingly attributed to any member of USIT or its allies in LMFAO, somehow prevents your ability to effectively operate. Thus engage in assassinations and contracting third parties to eliminate your scapegoats. This logic fails to take into account that your actions, like terrorism in general, is ultimately detrimental to your main goal of driving off MT07. Besides the AP spent dropping a USIT or USIT-affiliated body, you also take away at least 14 AP from a defender coming to revive me, not to mention the AP spent procuring the syringe. I was killed four times yesterday; and each time I was revived within forty five minutes of showing up at a revival point. That's a bare minimum of 56 AP that could have been spent on barricading, first aid, and maintaining Mall power and communications, not to mention your continuous putting out of commission my own relief abilities.
In response to your "conditions." To the first: I can't not confirm or deny my involvement in the spray campaign against you. However, I can assert that I had neither the paint nor the AP available to defame you to the degree you have experienced. Nor did Harry Haller. I have been active, as has everyone else in Ranahan, in supporting the siege defenses. To the second: I have nothing to apologize for; but even terrorist groups should know that any profanity would be redacted from government records. We are also well aware that your leader's current "word" intends to suspend his campaign against USIT until after the siege.--The Envoy 22:08, 19 February 2007 (UTC)
- If the spray stops, I'll rescind my order to have you killed. Heres my deal: the spray stuff stops, you stop dying. You're right in that your a legit survivor, and My bullets are better used against PKers. So, you tell HH, who I know for a fact is behind at least some of the sprayings, that if all profane sparyings stop your deaths stop. --Darth Cheney Malton Rangers 03:20, 20 February 2007 (UTC)
- First of all, please forgive my poor wiki skills. Secondly, I take orders from no one. I am not affiliated with USIT, and frankly, super-secret governmental agencies abetting conspiracy theories (especially those involving aliens and what have you) annoy me. Despite this, and despite my continual sacking of the Envoy's briefcase for chapstick and mind-altering substances, he is my friend. Grown-ups, it seems, can have disagreements without killing one another. If you check my profile, you will see that I am even on a leave of absence from LMFAO, as I don't want my actions to have a negative impact on them. Thirdly, I have only tagged over your ludicrous (and misspelled, mind you) recruitment posters in Ranahan and Whippey. That's it. If a recruitment poster is found in Ranahan I will tag over it. If a recruitment poster is misspelled in Whippey I will tag over it, and each of my tags will be more hilarious than the last. Fourth, you have only killed me once. You know and I know why this is. If your boy a spray can doesn't heal the residents of Ranahan for a total of 60HP, I will seek my vengeance upon him at a time and place of my choosing. And I expect you of all people to understand my right to this vengeance. Shearbank is my home. I was here for The Big Bash and ShackNews. I did my best to help then (how many times I died in Whippey I can't count) and I'm doing my best to help now. Lastly, I expect all of you (all of you) to leave your computers at home next weekend and go cruising for chicks. And I want this last part in writing. --Harry Haller 18:31, 20 February 2007 (UTC)
- HH, um, if USIT is abetting a conspiracy involving aliens and "things man was not meant to know" (i.e. "what have you"), and I'm not saying we are, I don't really think that qualifies as a "theory" anymore.--The Envoy 02:02, 21 February 2007 (UTC)
The U.S. ARMY INFANTRY is in Shearbank
Captain Mordac and the rest of Bravo Platoon is moving into Shearbank to help with the defense of Stickling Mall. I am trying to coordinate with any and all allies to make this as successful as possible as Bravo Platoon is not fighting at full strength right now. If you would like to coordinate assaults with Cpt Mordac, contact LTC Lunchpail through the link to our forums that can be found on the U.S. ARMY INFANTRY wiki page, he can set you up with a secure allied account. I'd be happy to coordinate on allied forums as well. --Stickman 17:52, 21 February 2007 (UTC)
A Letter From an Old Friend
My Fellow DHPDers, Allies and Friends
It was bad enough that Survivors were Nerf-ed by the Majority of the updates over the last year...
It's Bad enough that Zeds have been immune to most of Kevan's anti-zerging measures while legitimate players operating out of universities have been pwned...
It's Bad enough that cheaters like Max can get away with Zerging their asses off while people like Me, DHG, Ron Burgundy and any other survivor leader that puts together good ops gets tagged as a Zerg...
Now, Extinction is using automated techniques and tactics to maintain control of NTs and other resource buildings...
I have purposefully been silent for a while because I just haven't had the heart to deal with this BULLSHIT with all the personal crap that has gone on in my life over the last 6 mos, but I have been playing... And I even orchestrated a number of people who had given up the game to come back to play for a bit to see if a difference could be made...
It is obvious the game has been broken by a number of enterprising individuals, and unless serious changes are made to the current Status quo, things are not going to get any better....
Therefore....
I, and anyone I can convince should cease and desist all activities ASAP.
I don't have any problem getting beat in a game fairly but there seems to be serious activities that have taken survivors off the same scale as Zombies some time ago... I f Kevan wants to save this game he's going to have to do some serious rework of the mechanics and stiffen the anti-zerg measures to stop manipulators like Max and his ilk from exploiting the system...

Attention Malton Rangers!
I'm Quick Claws, a professional reviver currently stationed at the Whatmore NT Building in Yagoton. Your people keep killing me for reasons unknown to me. I tried talking to them but they apparently don't listen to reason. I'm just a lone survivor fighting for our common cause of survival and I hope the famous Malton Rangers can understand that.
- Sorry about that Quick Claws, ill get it sorted right away. No hard feelings? (ill move this to the bottom aswell, newest things go there) Al duck 17:56, 15 April 2007 (BST)

The Great Radio Group Massacre
Group Active? Request. | |
In order to maintain the wiki as an up to date source of information groups are occasionally removed from the Radio pages when they are no longer active. Is this group still active? If so simply confirm here by writing something below. If not it's frequency will be removed from Radio pages in 14 days. |
