...or face the wrath of Bubba Ho-tep! |
- If you're in a hurry, just read the bold parts. Last changed significantly on 2008-10-18, concerning the location where you put new topics. Which would be; to the bottom.
If I've started the discussion on your page, I'd appreciate if the rest of the discussion took place there (I hate having one part of the discussion on one page and the other part on another page). So, please reply there unless your answer is urgent. Even in that case I'd prefer if you left only a "beep" kind of message here pointing to the original discussion. I always put the pages I talk on to my watchlist (I've got it on automatic), so I will get back to you. It just won't be the first thing I do when I check the wiki. I will move your comment back when I reply. If you do not want this, tell me and I'll copy my original comment here and we'll have the discussion on this page.
This page does not follow standard indentation practice. The main thread of discussion goes straight down, no indentation. If you have something to say to/about a specific comment that doesn't really concern the main issue, place that message below the comment and increase the indentation by one level. Further discussion about/relating to that comment should be placed below the side-tracked comment at the same indentation level. I will move and/or re-indent comments to their proper places if they are incorrectly placed. A quick look below (or in the archives) should give you some idea how I want the discussion to look.
If you write here, then I answer here. Please sign your posts. New messages at the bottom, using this link, or the '+' button at the very top of the page, next to 'edit'. Thank you.
You don't have to care about the context messages, I'll add one if I think it's needed.

Arbies policy
- The following discussion concerns the voting on this policy.
Sorry about moving your addendum. I just took out all the "replies" and didn't notice it was you adding on -- boxy talk • teh rulz 10:24 18 October 2008 (BST)
No problem. I was expecting that and had considered moving the whole chain myself to avoid getting that moved along with the others, but I've been a bit busy this morning. --Midianian|T|T:S|C:RCS| 10:29, 18 October 2008 (BST)
Talk Suggestions
Hey. I've shifted Talk:Suggestions to Developing Suggestions. You might want to sort your sig. =p -- Cheese 20:01, 20 October 2008 (BST)
Hmm... T:S does look better than DS, but I guess we all have to make sacrifices while making the wiki a better place :/. --Midianian|T|DS|C:RCS| 20:22, 20 October 2008 (BST)
Suggestion:20081008 Wear and Tear
I don't mind you striking votes, Id just prefer it if you'd removed them from all sections and not just keep. Thanks. --RosslessnessWant a Location Image? 18:19, 23 October 2008 (BST)
I don't strike them from any specific sections, just where I see them. And I completely missed that one, sorry :P. --Midianian|T|DS|C:RCS| 20:23, 23 October 2008 (BST)
Thank you sir, you are a gentleman. --RosslessnessWant a Location Image? 20:43, 23 October 2008 (BST)
Changing policy docs
I tried to answer Iscariot on his talk page, but he deleted my comment. Just thought I'd repost it here, in case you're interested (and miss the history).
"You don't go back changing the policies that were voted on in light of new policies, because users signed votes for the policy as is... not as subsequently changed months or years later. To suggest otherwise is ridiculous, and would be impersonation under our current wiki rules. The policy vote pages need to be viewed as historical documents only, and later changes taken into account when reading them" -- boxy talk • teh rulz 12:49 29 October 2008 (BST)

what your doing with your sig. Haha.--CyberRead240 13:15, 19 November 2008 (UTC)
It's a shame that the wiki doesn't have a magic word for just plain random :P. --Midianian Big Brother Diary Room: [513,19] 13:25, 19 November 2008 (UTC)
*beep*
Nice new suggestion portal. How much longer until it's finished? Will it be a separate page or incorporated into one of the current ones? Linkthewindow Talk 10:55, 24 November 2008 (UTC)
I was thinking that maybe it could replace the wall of text that is Suggestions. I can't think of much to add to it anymore, so I'll probably post about it in the next few days on Category talk:Suggestions. --Midianian Big Brother Diary Room: [511,24] 11:20, 24 November 2008 (UTC)
Nibbling on someone's corpse
Would it be possible to merge dumping a specific body with your suggestion? Or should that be something separate? ■■ 02:49, 28 November 2008 (UTC)
Replied here. --Midianian Big Brother Diary Room: [510,28] 10:55, 28 November 2008 (UTC)
Is what I put up too 'similarly' worded? ■■ 19:52, 28 November 2008 (UTC)
Not at all :). --Midianian Big Brother Diary Room: [520,28] 20:30, 28 November 2008 (UTC)

I think there's just a misunderstanding somewhere. I'm just saying as a rule of thumb if they show up on Stats.html they shouldn't be refused from making an advert on the basis that they aren't a group. Not that stats.html should bar people from making ads, not even that we should write it into the rules so much as we made it clear that the game engine is god when it comes to having the final say on if a group doesn't count as a group.--Karekmaps?! 18:00, 14 December 2008 (UTC)

The recruitment section is meant to work with the Stats.html page, the rule should be if you show up there you can show up here. |
I think you'll understand why I thought you meant it like that. --Midianian|T|DS|C:RCS| 18:22, 14 December 2008 (UTC)
- Yeah, bad choice of wording on my part. It's been known to happen.--Karekmaps?! 18:28, 14 December 2008 (UTC)

(Christmas) lights break it, as well as something else I am forgetting.
I'll look into it as soon as I get me some lights and trees so I can test them myself :P. --Midianian|T|DS|C:RCS| 20:12, 20 December 2008 (UTC)
It doesn't display any items, just blank space below "Inventory". I'll dig up the iWit to find what else broke it. Cheers. ■■ 20:50, 20 December 2008 (UTC)
Well, the first thing: you're using the latest version (1.0), right? If you're using Firefox, you could look in the Error Console (in the Tools menu) and tell me what it says there (just the bits about the script). --Midianian|T|DS|C:RCS| 20:59, 20 December 2008 (UTC)
Nothing in the error console, 1.0, and I'm seeing this. ■■ 21:19, 20 December 2008 (UTC)
Should be fixed now. I'll probably modify it later so that it doesn't leave you with an empty inventory if it crashes :P --Midianian|T|DS|C:RCS| 01:22, 21 December 2008 (UTC)
