I choose... the banjo
Thank you; despise the fact that I stole the name from my friend "beachedblonde" I accept the prize for “3rd bestes name evar”. Pie is tempting but unhealthy and I know the dangers of communism. I choose the manifesto in hope it is a premium copy with signatures from Engels and Marx. In case it is laced with poison my last words are: Tell my banjo I loved it very much... --Nuke the fridge 20:14, 5 July 2008 (BST)
Amazing
You asked on Kevan's talkpage what amazing actually did, so I'm not going to spam his page by answering there. Amazing had trouble with keeping things in perspective and had a tendency to overreact when he perceived somebody insulting or pushing him. That made him fairly drama prone and troll fodder. And every time he was pushed he reacted more strongly in return. Sometimes creating a whole lot of drama, something exacerbating it and the social interactions on the wiki suffered heavily because of it. In the end it was a whole lot of small things that got him banned. Things that normally wouldn't be punished so severely if he hadn't done them so many times before already.-- Vista +1 21:31, 25 November 2008 (UTC)
- It all culminated into a giant arbitration case that stands as a tribute to the drama bomb that fell on our fair wiki. I was in it too,and I managed to get banned for a day for agreeing to participate, and then I got ice cream. Ad thats why it was the best day ever. --ZaruthustraMod 03:25, 10 December 2008 (UTC)
Wow
Do you ever grow up? "Insulting me is the reason people DIE". Seriously powerhouse/cody6/darkmagic/dumb ass, please, go away and kill yourself by drowning in the ocean so we won't have to deal with you. Remove your stupidity from our gene pool, it's evident that mental incapability is already prevalent amongst humanity. No need for you to help. Also, in before angry noobish reply.--Suicidal Angel - Help needed? 00:13, 22 January 2009 (UTC)
- Didn't know a 3.5 GPA was mental stupidity... Second drowning in an ocean would be quite a fucking feat considering I don't live near one.--Jakezing 22:25, 22 January 2009 (UTC)
Why no Chainsaws (moved from Kevan's talk page)
This isn't a suggestion or anything; But kevan... why no chainsaws? This is a zombie apocalypse FFS: And no chainsaws? Unprofessional! --Jakezing 03:56, 21 January 2009 (UTC)
- One could argue that your contacting the creator of Urban Dead with such a common, nooblike suggestion is 'unprofessional'. Liberty 04:00, 21 January 2009 (UTC)
- If you actually read anything but the title... specifically the first 6 words.... you'd know this is NOT suggestion retard. Its me questing how he can call this a ZED Apocalypse but not give us a chainsaw!--Jakezing 04:11, 21 January 2009 (UTC)
- So you're just suggesting he add chainsaws? One could probably argue that you, my dimwitted friend, are the retard Sanpedro 04:23, 21 January 2009 (UTC)

1: How is that last sentence redundant 2: Why didn'ty he put them in in the first place?
- Now; if KEVAN would answer this and not retards who can't read... that;d be much more useful then you people.--Jakezing 04:34, 21 January 2009 (UTC)
I was always under the impression that it was the zombies, not chainsaws, that made a zombie game a zombie game Sanpedro 04:38, 21 January 2009 (UTC)
- Kevan does not, in general, answer such queries on his page. This is to stop people circumventing the established suggestions process.
- I quote from the FAQ:
- Can I send you some ideas?
- All players are welcome to suggest alterations and additions that they think would improve the game - we can't guarantee that they'll be implemented, but anything submitted to the Suggestions page of the Urban Dead Wiki will certainly be passed on and read, if it passes peer review.
- You are wanting an alteration to the game, namely the introduction of chainsaws. You are doing so here because you would be laughed out of the suggestions system as chainsaws have in the past. Your notion of chainsaws being quintessentially integral to the zombie apocalypse is unfounded, for every occurrence of this in the genre I will be able to name two instances where it does not appear. -- . . <== DDR Approved Editor 04:42, 21 January 2009 (UTC)
FOR THE LOVE OF FUCKING GOD DO NONE OF YOU FUCKING READ THIS FUCKING LINE YOU FUCKING RETARDS "THIS IS NOT A FUCKING SUGGESTION".--Jakezing 04:48, 21 January 2009 (UTC)

- All of my character profiles are in my user space, feel free to threaten me. I had Yagoton dismantled within 48 hours, you have no power. It still doesn't change the base fact that chainsaws are not integral to the zombie apocalypse, your unwillingness to demonstrate this proves my point. -- . . <== DDR Approved Editor 05:00, 21 January 2009 (UTC)

- Foregoing the question of whether real world threats are allowed on this wiki, my real world location is easily available to those who play this game, it is stated in many of my forum profiles. I invite you to demonstrate that you can back up your threat. Personally I think you're impotent. -- . . <== DDR Approved Editor 05:19, 21 January 2009 (UTC)

- You do understand that if you aren't suggesting he put them in, then why bother talking about them to him? You'll only get insulted by players who realise your futile attempt at communication with Kevan as a failed joke. Liberty 06:16, 21 January 2009 (UTC)
- OK. For one, swearing on the Talk page of the user belonging to the person who runs the game and, as such, would have the most administrative power of anyone playing the game or browsing the wiki, is a quick way to get banned. Secondly, chainsaws are a tricky idea to propose. People would expect the 'saw to be insta-kill, which is uber-overpowered. I've heard that there's a PR-version, which requires fuel cans but doesn't insta-kill. This means that at this time, a thick layer of buttering-up would probably be the best way to get one implemented or, failing that, writing the code yourself for the weapon. So, either suck up or HIT THAT KEYBOARD, MISTER! --Blake Firedancer T E RNL? P.I.S.I.T. 07:12, 21 January 2009 (UTC)
WannaWannaWanna Chainsaw :( Please mister kevan can i have one? You are great and lovely and super and stuff, your like, the bestprogrammer of zombie games ever so go on give us all a late christmas present and let us have chainsaws...
- Nah, can't see that working out....

Would you be talking about electric or gas powered chainsaws, Mr. Jake Zing? --Pestolence(talk) 02:19, 22 January 2009 (UTC)
- You mean petrol ;). Electric powered chainsaws would be weird... OHNOES! The cable fell out :P. Linkthewindow Talk 02:21, 22 January 2009 (UTC)

- Chainsaws are heavy, insanely loud and require refueling. And probably ruin all barricades quite easily. You'd probably fillet a coupe of zombies before the noise drew a large hrde to eat you just as you ran out of fuel. And using a chainsaw in a Dark building? Good luck with that. And name me a zombie flm with a chainsaw in?

- regardless of the actual facts everybody "knows" that chainsaws are the ultimate zombie killing machines... It really doesn't matter that its a rare thing in the actual genre or that they would be insanely dangerous and unpredictable to use, surely what is really important is that they have such a strong association with the genre that people notice they are not here?--Honestmistake 10:23, 22 January 2009 (UTC)
- Actually, methinks that Cody6 has just played Doom 3 a bit too much (because we know he's not old enough to even know what the first games were like), and is currently in the "OMG CHANSAWZ MUTHER FVCKERS!!!1!" stage. Seriously, the best thing to do here everyone is to just stop posting here, and from now on ignore the kid. Does nothing but cause problems, trust me.--Suicidal Angel - Help needed? 11:19, 22 January 2009 (UTC)
