Announcements
After escaping from Malton the founding members of Canadians-in-Malton have returned to help Any Canadians still lost in malton.
Revive Clinic Closed Just in case anyone has been waiting at Carye Drive for the last two years, we thought we'd point out that our revive clinic there is closed. If you're in the area and you need a revive, check the Penny Heights and Vinetown suburb pages.
History
Canadians-in-Malton was formed by two Canadians trapped in Malton during the quarantine. HoserJoe and Cyvilian met each other early on during the outbreak. The first place they found shelter was in a junkyard in Vinetown. From this makeshift HQ, the pair developed their survivor skills and zombie-hunting skills until they were strong enough to go out in search of other Canadians trapped in the town.
But, as their numbers grew, others began to take notice. After the infiltration and destruction of their headquarters in Penny Heights, the members of Canadians-in-Malton scattered across Malton. Still today they can be found in all areas of Malton, offering aid and assistance to fellow survivors, and blowing holes in those blasted zombies.
Mission
The goal of Canadians-in-Malton is to secure the areas around Vinetown by slaying as many Zeds as possible, and to ensure that TRP's are operational and safe for survivors. We also seek to reinforce the positive image of Canadians abroad by providing aid to other in the area. In addition to this, we will cure those afflicted by the undead curse at our revive clinic. And of course, to get in the occasional game of street hockey.
The main mission of C-i-M is to provide support to other survivors, especially to new and low-level players. Maintenance of buildings, particularly TRP's is essential to this mission. We also seek to eliminate any zombies found inside of these buildings. And of course, to get in the occasional game of street hockey.
Tips for Our Mission:
- Kill inside buildings, not on the street Don't waste your ammo and AP blasting zombies in the street. Instead, enter buildings that zombies have breached and headshot the ones inside so we can get the building fixed up.
- Shed some light on the subject Portable generators will light up a building, making it easier for survivors to find useful loot in them. If there are many TRP's without power in the area, use the first generator you find to power the factory where you found it; this will make it easier to find more generators.
- Scout ahead A generator can be hard to come by, so make sure the building you're supporting doesn't already have one. There may already be a powered-down generator inside that just needs fuel.
- Grab a toolbox Toolboxes are heavy, but if you have one (and the construction skill) you can use it to repair generators and radio transmitters, and fix the damage to ruined buildings.
Communication within the group, and with other groups, is key to accomplishing these goals. C-i-M members are encouraged to keep up communication using:
- Mobile phone service (especially where secrecy or discretion is required)
- Radio frequency 28.42 (see Radio section below)
Conduct
We DO NOT support PKer's, Gker's, Rker's, Griefers, Spies, Zombies or anyone trying to cause harm to survivors either directly or indirectly. Canadians-in-Malton respect other survivor groups and are willing to work in conjunction with these groups to ensure a safer Malton.
Conduct We Encourage:
- Tagging over Zombie or Anti-Survivor group tags with a Canadians-in-Malton tag
- Slaying Zombies without mercy
- Taking Screenshots of PKer's in action and reporting them
- Helping fellow survivors
- Aiding new players
- Maintain TRP barricades following local barricade plans
Conduct We DisCourage:
- Player Killing anyone who is not a proven PKer
- Generator Killing
- Revive Point Killings
- Any form of spying
- Vandalism(ie: lowering barricades/tagging over other Pro-Survivor groups tags)
- Zerging

- As PKing gets out of hand..C-i-M members are asked to seek safety else where for the time being
--Cyvilian 20:07, 2 November 2006 (UTC)
- Sorry, I wasn't checking the page and I missed all this excitement. I'm hovering around in the area, will restock with ammo and wait for them to show up again so that I can pump some lead into them. Thanks for the warning, Cyvilian! Oh... I got engaged tonight! He's a zombie right now but...uh... hopefully he'll get revived soon. --Torontogirl 23:24, 2 November 2006 (EST)

- Ratbert killed Cyentist in Hagger Square Fire Station and then stated "I only kill C-i-M members, so y'all don't need to fear me. Just don't kill me, or you'll suffer the rath of the raging rat!" Apparently since my alt didn't identify myself as C-i-M, he didn't know I was part of the group. Managed to find him holed up 1 block NW in Normandare Boulevard Police Dept, and had -just- enough AP to kill him (apparently being full of Alexander Keith's improves my aim). I dumped his body into the street where he belongs. Reported him on the PK thread (along with screenshots) on the Brainstock forum. Let me know if I need to report him elsewhere... T-girl out! --Torontogirl 02:43, 5 November 2006 (EST)

- Nice work Torontogirl, and congrats on your engagement to a flesh-eating walking-dead corpse. I'm sure Stephen Harper would find some objection to that, but to each their own I say.
- Also thanks to the members of the Beer Drinking Zombie Busters who have moved into the area to back us up in our hour of need.--HoserJoe 17:34, 6 November 2006 (UTC)
- Ratbert is lying dead outside Coombe Library. (And he's also probably reading this. Hi Ratbert!) If you add him and Strong Corpse to your contacts list you should be able to recognize them as corpses and zombies, so you can taget them for killing and you won't revive them by accident.--HoserJoe 17:42, 6 November 2006 (UTC)

- I've been PKd a couple of times this past few days by Snaily Boy, both times at Normandare Boulevard Police Dept in Penny Heights. In other news I was contacted by someone from the MPD who said that our friends from FANNY asked them to help us deal with our PKers Strong Corpse and Ratbert. We love you FANNY!

- Marion Wells said "HoserJoe, I'm an ally of Raharu's, and wanted to give you a message: 'You fire at Strong Corpse for 5 damage. Their flak jacket absorbs 1 point of that damage. They die.'" (3 days ago) Something about that warms my heart. It's nice to have friends :) --HoserJoe 10:12, 14 November 2006 (UTC)

- After searching Penny Heights for Ratbert or Strong Corpse, I went to rest. I woke up in Deacon PD to find that Strong Corpse had killed Torontogirl! However, fufuthepoodle had quickly dispersed of this pking scum. fufu was graciouslly thanked and I offered C-i-M help whenever possible. Strong Corpse is dead outside Deacon. --Churchkey 16:38, 20 November 2006 (UTC)

- It has been weeks, and the only contact I have had is with Torontogirl. I have no idea where anyone else is....have they scattered? have they been pk'd? Murtaugh is still in our hands, but for how long? It's December now, and I long for a seat by my fireplace, with some warm eggnog, and a nice girl, dressed up in an elf costume, and my dog Rex, with, ah never mind. It's getting cold now, so cold...--Churchkey 19:56, 1 December 2006 (UTC)

- I've been hanging around Mitchem Mall for the past few weeks, stocking up on supplies and finally passing my NecroTech employee exam. All that changed today when I lawfully killed HunterKilla, a registered PKer. Unfortunately, he was quickly revived and sought swift revenge. I also received a rather ominous reply from Strong Corpse when I sent out my status over C-i-M radio. I have since dragged my rotting hide to Carye Drive, as Mitchem is clearly unsafe for me at the moment. --Epicurus 12:34, 2 December 2006 (EST)

- After days of searching, I finally found Strong Corpsein Towne Row Police Dept (Fryerbank). I had JUST enough AP to finish him off, hopefully the survivors there won't be harsh on me. --Torontogirl 09:10, 6 December 2006 (EST)
December 18, 2006
- Heavy PKer presence in Penny Heights at the moment, with a large group at Joachim. Murtaugh is increasingly unsafe, subject to frequent visits by Strong Corpse and others. On the plus side, a mysterious young man named Constanince has shown up at Murtaugh with a request to join, so perhaps I won't be the junior member for too much longer. --Epicurus 05:21, 18 December 2006 (EST)
January 30, 2007
- It is with no small regret that I must announce my withdrawal from C-i-M. Following an excursion north I have become embroiled in events that carry me further and further from Murtaugh. Though I shall always be a Canadian in Malton, I no longer feel able to contribute to the goals of C-i-M in any meaningful way. Remember that if you ever need an extra shotgun against the hordes, I'll be there. Hell, I certainly owe TorontoGirl and Churchkey more than a couple of favours. Until we meet again, good luck and happy hunting. --Epicurus 11:19, 30 January 2007 (EST)
