Just to throw this out there...

I say, for now, just stick in whatever seems even moderately amusing and we'll sort it all out after there's a decent list going. Eh? Eh?? --Blackboard 08:25, 29 October 2008 (UTC)

Yeah I mentioned that on the front.--Nallan (Talk) 08:39, 29 October 2008 (UTC)
Ok, ok, whatever, I'm not one of you Australians with all of your reading of things, alright?? Sheesh. --Blackboard 13:29, 29 October 2008 (UTC)
Haha. Aaaah you foreigners...--Nallan (Talk) 20:42, 29 October 2008 (UTC)

When y'all get around to talking about what's actually funny, I'm gonna vote against "Alcock" and "Silcock". It's juvenile to find a name silly just because it has the four letters cock in it. Mycock, Hiscock, and Cockburn, on the other hand... those are comedy gold! -- Maunder 04:28, 24 November 2008 (UTC)

locations by player names

i thought there was something like this somewhere.. where did it go? --~~~~ [talk] 21:26, 3 November 2008 (UTC)

Hmm. I think it was before we started archiving Talk:ALiM. You're talking about that discussion right? With Nix Place, The Duke Hotel, Read Museum, etc.?--Nallan (Talk) 00:04, 4 November 2008 (UTC)
Yeah, that one. --~~~~ [talk] 07:34, 4 November 2008 (UTC)
Yeah there's a cheeseland alley or something in Elstree.--xoxo 07:40, 4 November 2008 (UTC)
No, Jed, that's not what i'm talking about. Kevan officially named some locations in BHW after me (The Garland Alley, Garland Terrace Police Station, maybe more) for doing the map. --~~~~ [talk] 11:48, 4 November 2008 (UTC)
As in coz you're the main person involved in the wikification of the map? --xoxo 23:54, 4 November 2008 (UTC)
He is the wiki map. --RosslessnessWant a Location Image? 20:35, 6 November 2008 (UTC)
As in he has it tattooed to his body in case the servers go down? Wow. Impressive.--Nallan (Talk) 22:00, 6 November 2008 (UTC)
Put it like this. If kevan was sent to prison, duke could commit a crime, get sent to prison and use it to escape. (As long as the prison was in Monroeville or Borehamwood.--RosslessnessWant a Location Image? 22:04, 6 November 2008 (UTC)
A true patriot... Well I guess he'd be more of a devout Kevanist. But what would Kevan go to prison for? I reckon something awesome like insurance fraud or treason.--Nallan (Talk) 22:20, 6 November 2008 (UTC)
What kind of accomplice would i be if i not get there with Kevan in the first place... --~~~~ [talk] 22:26, 6 November 2008 (UTC)

Names Used in Borehamwood

There are quite a few amusing names I've run across. Before I submit my favorites, I'll point you to some lists I put up. Have at it! -- Maunder 17:11, 23 November 2008 (UTC)

Wow. Is that every location in BHW?? --xoxo 23:22, 23 November 2008 (UTC)
Nearly! Not listed are a few named blocks like the named railway station and the malls. -- Maunder 03:48, 24 November 2008 (UTC)

Note: there are 8 blocks named after Duke Garland, including a Building, a Museum, and a Towers, and, suspiciously, there are three blocks named Maunder. Hmm. -- Maunder 03:48, 24 November 2008 (UTC)

The Marriage Building

I'm claiming it. --RosslessnessWant a Location Image? 20:42, 24 November 2008 (UTC)

It might be overrated. And you'll never see Longmate Yard again. -- Maunder 20:46, 24 November 2008 (UTC)
