Preliminary Discussions

On your marks. Get set. Discuss! --•▬ ▬••▬ • •••• •▬ ▬•▬• ▬•▬ #nerftemplatedsigs 08:07, 16 August 2011 (BST)

Discus. Like the throwing plates. You know you want to. Strength is just an accident arising from the weakness of others 16:31, 16 August 2011 (BST)
Mis, sign up for RO2. You know you wanna. ~Vsig.png 18:27, 16 August 2011 (UTC)

Holiday Hunting

I predict lots of christmas tree and tinels deaths. Maybe even some pumpkins if they aren't all used during RO2. A fine time for a manhunt. ~Vsig.png 01:46, 9 September 2011 (UTC)

I was thinking maybe bumping the start date forward to Thanksgiving (November 24th). Maybe. AHMH5 is pretty much gonna be the smallest area for an AHMH event as of current, so. Yea. Let's introduce more changes. We'll take it one change at a time. We'll not stop until AHMH becomes all perfect. More blood, more gore, more deaths, more holiday cheer, more rules (There may be one new rule. Maybe.)! --•▬ ▬••▬ • •••• •▬ ▬•▬• ▬•▬ #nerftemplatedsigs 01:52, 9 September 2011 (BST)
RO2 runs until Nov 24 so you may have a conflictthere. Beside, Thanksgiving is probably completely irrelevent to these europeans we share this game with. ~Vsig.png 02:07, 9 September 2011 (UTC)
Once again. Maybe. --•▬ ▬••▬ • •••• •▬ ▬•▬• ▬•▬ #nerftemplatedsigs 02:08, 9 September 2011 (BST)
Yep. Also sorry. I meant to say RO2 ends Nov 22nd. ~Vsig.png 02:13, 9 September 2011 (UTC)

I applaud the dark building rule. --Hey Sweden! 17:46, 22 September 2011 (BST)

Dark buildings need more risk in manhunts! :D --•▬ ▬••▬ • •••• •▬ ▬•▬• ▬•▬ #nerftemplatedsigs 00:04, 23 September 2011 (BST)
They don't have to be dark at the time of the kill to count double, right? ~Vsig.png 20:24, 23 October 2011 (UTC)
Nope. As long as they're able to achieve Dark status. --•▬ ▬••▬ • •••• •▬ ▬•▬• ▬•▬ #nerftemplatedsigs 20:37, 23 October 2011 (BST)
Why the zombie provision? If you can exploit this rule change when it is lit, why not when one is dead. In all other cases, zombie-on-harman kills are full-fledged kills within the manhunt are they not? Why not here?--Albert Schwan Albert Schwan  Sunday, 23 October 2011
Because zombies have an advantage in the dark. They hit more in the dark compared to a survivor. Plus, the survivor needs to waste an AP or two installing a Genny and fueling it. --•▬ ▬••▬ • •••• •▬ ▬•▬• ▬•▬ #nerftemplatedsigs 21:45, 23 October 2011 (BST)
Yes but your system does not require that someone install a generator. If it is already lit (as many are right now), it still counts double. Not to mention that zombies have a disadvantage when it comes to getting into the building in the first place. All I am saying is if you are going to stigmatize people for being in a dark (which I am fine with by the way), why resort to half-measures?--Albert Schwan Albert Schwan  Sunday, 23 October 2011
I've got to agree, it's a little baffling this rule. Now, if it was a contestant (alive or dead) killing another contestant in the dark, with no genny present, then 2 points would make sense, and be worth taking the risk. That extra point reward could be the deciding one between me becoming the fucking nearly man for three straight years running. Looking at you, Dobbs. Always a bridesmaid eh Kempy? Seriously though, after consideration, I am with Kempy here. If the point is to reward chutzpa, make it so that the kill has to take place in the actual dark. If the point is to get people out of the dark buildings, make it so any kill counts. Either way, make it a simple rule and get this pulseist clause out. --Albert Schwan Albert Schwan  Sunday, 23 October 2011
My logic of thinking was to give them a risk for sleeping in a Dark. That's why the double points. However, as a zombie, you have an easier chance of claiming those double points, regardless if whether the building was lit or dark. Which is why zombies contestants will not benefit from this. --•▬ ▬••▬ • •••• •▬ ▬•▬• ▬•▬ #nerftemplatedsigs 00:25, 24 October 2011 (BST)
Aye, I can see your thinking Axe, but really, zombies don't have that great an advantage in the dark against us breathers. I've lost count the amount of fails even the most experienced of zeds have had on my alts in an unlit cinema. Nerfing them a point for a successfull kill doesn't seem fair. Besides, this is part of the risk innit? Freerunning into a dark to rest for the night, knowing a zombie opponent could be fast asleep on the floor... it all adds to the drama of the game. My idea of that double points reward for a kill in the dark, human or zombie, is the only logical way for this to work. But then again, I know a certain girl who'll give me a dirty look for making a simple manhunt more complicated with more rules. So, I'll shuddup. ...also, Dobbs. Bridesmaid? You'll get yours this year matey, mark my words! Rant.gif ~ Kempy “YaketyYak” | ◆◆◆ | CAPD | 00:40, 24 October 2011 (BST)
Settle down Kempy. If you’re nice I may rig the bouquet toss this year. Axe, since you seem adamant on this I will try one more time and then give up. I admit that a zombies get a bonus to hit in the dark. A lit building that can be dark will not give them any bonus. I offer that the bonus does not outweigh the dark penalty but only slightly offsets it. I offer that for a zombie to kill someone in a dark they must break in, parachute in, rise inside, or the building must be un-barricaded. Once in, they will hit for 3-4 HP. Comparatively, a survivor need but freerun into the building. Once there, they are slightly less likely to hit but can do twice or more the damage. If you are still convinced that a zombie can easily claim these points, I will meet you in an EHB dark of your choice before the event. You show up as a zombie and see how easy it is to claim the kill. Beyond this, It’s your party so if you don’t want zombies playing with the toys that’s fine. I just think you are complicating things. For me, this is an academic argument. I have no intention of racking up manhunt kills as a zombie; it is too much extra work :P--Albert Schwan Albert Schwan  Monday, 24 October 2011
I'll put this to a vote later. There's still time before this starts, after all. --•▬ ▬••▬ • •••• •▬ ▬•▬• ▬•▬ #nerftemplatedsigs 00:55, 24 October 2011 (BST)
