- Keep - Author vote. --Ltpotter 15:43, 24 December 2008 (UTC)
- Keep - I like this. Good work.--Kooks 16:04, 24 December 2008 (UTC)
- Keep/Change - If the only message other players would receive was 'Player X shot into the air' this could be used for military-style ceremonies as well as cowboy style celebrations. --Toejam 21:57, 24 December 2008 (UTC)
- KEEP - HELL YEAH! THIS IS GOOD! I like this one! --Jarethshadow 01:15, 25 December 2008 (UTC)
- keep - something I've been wanting to do for a while. --Lt.G Deathnut | TheStayPuftMan 15:12, 25 December 2008 (UTC)
Kill Votes
- Kill - So, you can hear someone shooting in the air in the neightboring blocks, but can't hear them shooting at another player even if you're in the same block? No thank you. And next time please spellcheck your suggestion. --Midianian|T|DS|C:RCS| 16:21, 24 December 2008 (UTC)
- Kill - As above and below, also as on Shoot into the Air. It will only be abused, encouraging idiotic behaviour and spam. ■■ 21:15, 24 December 2008 (UTC)
- Kill - We don't need all these extra shooting options. If you want to shoot into the air use a flair gun.--Turtleboy412 16:42, 25 December 2008 (UTC)
- Kill - As Mid. Doesn't make any sense, and would just encourage ammo wasteage. Linkthewindow Talk 00:41, 25 December 2008 (UTC)
- Kill - Definitely would not improve the signal-to-noise ratio in the game.--Jiangyingzi 00:46, 25 December 2008 (UTC)
- Kill - Doesn't seem to be overly useful, and it would really spam up communications. --ZsL 16:42, 25 December 2008 (UTC)
Spam/Dupe Votes
- Spam - For the exact same reason as last time, and you've only increased that. Implied effect. You can hear some retard firing into the air but you can't hear me putting 12 rounds into Little Miss Level 1 before I run out of AP? Also shooting at the lights implies that it will trigger the same status messages as the power in adjacent blocks going down and if applicable restore the darkness condition in applicable buildings. I would say spell check this before you resubmit it, but I'd rather you never submit this again. -- . . <== DDR Approved Editor 17:46, 24 December 2008 (UTC)
- Spam - As above. And probably below, too. --WanYao 19:38, 24 December 2008 (UTC)
- a cycle? - As WanYao. -- 19:46, 24 December 2008 (UTC)
- Spam - As Nevin. --Pestolence(talk) 19:52, 24 December 2008 (UTC)
- SPam - Again please do not encourage more idiotic waste of ammo and ap among survivors. --Diablor 22:43, 24 December 2008 (UTC)
- Spam Worse then before. I'm not strictly against waisting ammo. If some dumbass wants to, let them. But then we DON'T need to hear the bitch and whine when they do. It makes no sense the hearing range. I believe it would actually be VERY quiet. First of all you have to remember there is less noise now. Malton has been under quarantine for YEARS now so any ambient noise (car alarms, for example) would not be working anymore. And even with that noise, sound carries much farther outside then it does inside. Logic would say that the hearing range would be like "8" outside and "5" if inside. But the reason I'm voting spam is that would be ALL this creates. SPAM. High level assholes who can find ammo easy....what else will they be doing, just for the hell of it.--Pesatyel 05:07, 25 December 2008 (UTC)
- Spam - As Pestolence. --Haliman - Talk 15:24, 25 December 2008 (UTC)
- Spam - As vote on the other suggestion which I can't be arsed copying over. -- Cheese 16:38, 25 December 2008 (UTC)
