Suggestion description:
Do you have a character you don't use anymore? Maybe your level 1 civilian just got eaten, and you'd rather start over than wait for a revive. Do your part to reduce server load! All characters, human and zombie would start with a new ability represented by a button labelled -End it all- or some similarly flavored description. The purpose of this button would be to submit a request to permanently delete that particular character. To prevent accidental suicides, clicking the button would prompt a request for your login password and an accompanying confirmation checkbox. If this is successfully completed, you would recieve a message saying -*Character Name* has chosen to end it all.- At which point you would be logged out. If you do not log in under that name again within 24 hours, the character will be permanently deleted, leaving only a nameless, unrevivable dead body. The dead character's name, however would remain unusable by any newly created characters, in order to prevent misuse and abuse. To further guard against abuse, only one suicide request (successfull or not) would be allowed from a single IP in a 24 hour period. --Steakfish 19:45, 4 August 2007 (BST)
