Basic Info:

  • Police Stations can be barricaded normally.
Eley Way Police Department

Eley Way Police Department is a derelict grey-stone building surrounded by burnt-out cars. It serves as the Malton Police Department headquarters for Greentown, and is a primary base of operations for District SW-1. Radio Channel 26.21mhz is for local bulletins and status of the precinct. All Cops are requested to report in to MPD Command on the forum as soon as possible. Malton Police Department

Please do not over barricade this building! It should be maintained as an accessible safe house and free running entryway, and as such the barricades should be maintained at Very Strongly (VS+2). See the Uniform Barricading Policy for more details.

Current Status

the barricades are strong and the lights are on. But someone has damaged the patrol car parked outside! Detective --Lane grate 10:14, 14 December 2008 (UTC) MPD SW-1

History

This police station didn't actually fall under the command of Greentown PD before the outbreak, as higher crime rates in Tapton, but a lack of space meant they needed a PD but simply couldn't fit one in. So, they built this Police Department over an abandoned wasteland in Greentown, on the border to Tapton. The PD's position right on the border allowed it to respond to disasters in Greentown as well, and thus supplemented the forces of both police forces.

Purpose

"To Serve and to Protect" SW Greentown and her neighbors.

Located in the southwest quarter of Greentown. This small but proud station house has a equally proud tradition and place in Malton history. The Malton Police Department and the Department of Emergency Management would like the citizens of Malton know that our ranks are always open to those who want to make a difference here. Barricading Policy

Uniform Barricading Policy suggests that since the Police Station is an essential resource building, it should be barricaded to Very Strongly Barricaded +2 (which means, barricade it up unto the point where it says "further barricading will prevent people from entering" and stop so that people without free running can still enter).--Alice Cuinn 07:00, 4 June 2007 (BST)

Eley Way Police Department is a Proud supporter of UBP by actively maintaining barricades according to local plan or UBP standard. Hospitals, Police and Fire Depts should be kept at VS. DO NOT OVER-BARRICADE. If you feel exposed in a VS building, move out of these resource buildings. Over barricading locks other people outside. It could be you looking for a VS block one day. When a building is under siege by three or more zombies, barricade limitations may be temporarily ignored, but should be returned to the preferred condition as soon as the immediate threat is alleviated. Recent Events

from Greentown:

January 13th St. George's Hospital is under siege by an increasing amount of zombies. --Funkster 20:21, 13 January 2009 (UTC)

As the hospital is near the border of Brookesville which has suffered a recent attack this is not surprising. South Blythville is also getting attacks on its northern border from the recent attacks in North Blythville. Everyone must remain calm and make sure that the churches are kept as entry points. All other buildings can temporarily assume a defencesive posture until the zombies get bored and move on. Which they always do. --Detective Lane grate Eley Way Police Department SW-1 District 10:28, 15 January 2009 (UTC)

January 10th Yet again, the Greentown Building Information Center has been updated. The status has not changed, and both northern police departments are back up. No tactical resource point in Greentown is ruined, and very few regular buildings are, so the suburb is very safe at the moment for survivors, with few zombies on the streets, and very few at revive points. Status kept safe. Linkthewindow  Talk  09:41, 10 January 2009 (UTC)

January 4th The New Year Parties have ended and the streets once again have fallen silent. The MPD wishes to bring to notice the recent attacks in North Blythville, Brooksville, and Mockridge Heights. Those 3 suburbs are in need of assistance and any volunteers who feel able are asked to participate in retaking them. With that in mind Conditions in Greentown is good, we do ask that you do not overbarricade, and maintiain the churches and Hospital at VSB so others can recieve the care they need. By working together as a community we can ride out this coming assault as we have in the past. Detective Lane grate Eley Way Police Department, MPD SW-1 22:20, 4 January 2009 (UTC)

from South Blythville:

January 20th Zombies have been intermittently breaking into Marven Mall since last night, groaning and dragging survivors out over the past 12 hours. Several casualties have been noted, but local NecroTech activities continue unabated at this time, and revives seem to be going on unhampered. Unfortunately, more and more zombies appear to be gathering at Marven Mall, for what seems to be heading to a colossal fight between the 200+ survivors and zombies from different groups as well as ferals. --FLZombie 18:13, 20 January 2009 (UTC)

January 19th As of this writing, both NT facilities near Marven Mall are in zombie hands: the Pippard Building is ruined, with 17 zombies inside; the Preston Building just fell, and has 8 zeds inside. The situation evolves rapidly, don't rely on these numbers. Marven Mall itself was attacked earlier today, though the zeds were repelled quickly by resolute survivors. There are dozens of bodies lying around the area, i.e. 67 just outside Preston. Also ruined, as seen by this reporter, are Club Doran and Mear Cinema. Further coordinated strikes are almost certain. The MOB's grim handiwork is probably better followed through their Locator. --Hashk 05:25, 19 January 2009 (UTC)

Saint Ethelbert's Church has been cracked open like a nut and there is at least one groaning zombie inside calling others to feed! (1/19/09 1115 EST) -- Tinzien

January 15th After intense fighting and perseverance, the valiant survivors managed to eject MOB zombies from both NecroTech facilities. Cleanup operations are in force, and preparations are under way to repel what promises to be a vicious counterattack by very hungry zombies that have not seen this level of resistance in several months of destruction. It is not clear if zombie numbers are rising gradually in the suburb, as ongoing groans may have attracted more zeds to the area. --FLZombie 23:27, 15 January 2009 (UTC)

January 13th The MOB is in town. Pippard NT has fallen, at least two dozen zeds inside. No word yet what's the next target, but this burb will likely go to red soon. --Hashk 21:45, 13 January 2009 (UTC)

January 12th Pippard NT appears solidly in survivor hands and is at VSB as specified by the barracade policy [1] --DangerDan 15:11, 12 January 2009 (UTC)

January 2nd The Pippard NT building has fallen. The number of zeds inside has been as high as 39 but looks to be down to around 19. There is no obvious affiliation to any horde though the MOB is known to be in the area. --Smades 10:54, 2 January 2009 (UTC)

January 1st Lots of zombies now in the suburb, ussally 3-5 zeds outside every couple of buildings and 5-20 zeds outside PDs,Hs and NTs. Suggest change to Moderate, because i dont know how to. --Montana8 12:12, 1 January 2009 (UTC)

Confirming zed situation on the streets, and at least 27 just overran Mudford Plaza PD. Changing to Moderate. --Hashk 21:49, 1 January 2009 (UTC)
I'm in the Pippard NT Building. I didn't notice them on an early scanning run, but there must be about 40 of them outside. Send help and bring syringes. Lot's of em. --Funkster 23:06, 1 January 2009 (UTC)

fromNorth Blythville:

January 15th Several of the core buildings are ruined, other buildings in the core are having several break-ins frequently. About 50 zombies total in the core area, both inside and outside buildings.--SlegthVonDraco 00:50, 16 January 2009 (UTC)

January 10th In turns out you can't sleep overnight in Hebditch without waking up outside the building. There are still some survivors operating in the area, killing and dumping zombies. There is also some hope of revivification in the area. --Zoe Alinski 18:35, January 10, 2009 (UTC)

January 9th The entire Julie General-Hebditch area is in ruins, and zombies rule the land. The headquarter buildings of the local militias are in ruins (and if they are reoccupied this moment, they will likely be in ruins tomorrow). There are hardly any zombies waiting at the revive points, suggesting that the zombies who want to return to the land of the living have given up and gone elsewhere. It is now safe for zombies to sleep in the Hebditch building without worrying that they will wake up outside the building. If the MOB is no longer present, the local ferals seem well organized (even the graffiti is pro-Z). The area provides an excellent opportunity for survivors to violently cross over. --Zoe Alinski 08:11, January 10, 2009 (UTC)

January 4th Some core buildings have been retaken by survivors, although Hebditch remains in ruins. There are about as many zombies waiting for revives at the carpark by Julie General as there are zombie sentinels around Julie and Hebditch. --Zoe Alinski 07:07, January 5, 2009 (UTC)

January 2nd Zombies from the Militant Order of Barhah could be seen exiting the suburb, after leaving much of the place in ruins. --FLZombie 01:05, 2 January 2009 (UTC)

fromLockettside:

January 9th Updated the EMRP for Lockettside. No changes to the situation as reported on Jan 06. In addition, regular reporting on the NecroNet records shows minor scattered Zed activities around Pursey NT. NecroNet records can be a good indicator of Zed activities and can help Survivors to coordinate better. Please continue to scan Zombies in the area so that the information will be current. -- Lynx7725 05:28, 9 January 2009 (UTC)

January 6th 25.96 MHz: "... minimal activity in Lockettside ... lights are on across the suburb ... infrastructure looks intact too ... power's back on at Tompson Mall ..." (1 hour and 16 minutes ago) -- Lynx7725 12:41, 6 January 2009 (UTC)

January 2nd Lockettside has generally gone back to usual. Sproadic Zombie attacks/ break-in attempts are still ongoing especially for Pursey (NT), but things are generally calm. -- Lynx7725 05:43, 2 January 2009 (UTC)

fromWykewood:

January 10th Much of the suburb has been ruined. Through scouting, I can confirm that there are roughly a dozen structures left intact at this time, but these are coming under attack. --FLZombie 17:58, 10 January 2009 (UTC)

January 9th Later reports from that day indicate that both hospitals are fallen and ruined, with roughly 58 zeds in the area. Some 8 are outside of Spraggon drive railway station. The Curtis Arms is open with at least 2 zombies inside. Most other buildings seem to be EHB. --Fenian 04:52, 9 January 2009 (UTC)

The Militant Order of Barhah has arrived. The MOB Locator shows a wave of destruction coming from the western border along Nixbank. Survivors are strongly cautioned to not sleep in the open, and to hide behind the heaviest barricades they can find. --FLZombie 13:20, 9 January 2009 (UTC)
Addition Malton revolution radio news bulletin: Mather library, the Godfry building, Banger cinema, Castleman walk, the Ross building, Spraggon drive station, and the Dufferin building are ruined. Survivor enclaves are scattered if at all present outside of the safehouse this report came from. --Fenian 02:40, 10 January 2009 (UTC)

January 8th Report over Malton revolution radio: Wykewood is not in great shape. The only two hospitals here are both under attack by giant hordes. Josephine is still standing, but Adalbert has been ruined. We anticipate that the score of zeds outside Adalbert will turn on Josephine, liely ruining it. There is also a horde outside of Samborne walk police department, which has been breahced. Our reporters did not uncover information on Lavingston PD or Castleman Walk Fire. Catcott Fire Station is still holding strong, does not appear to be under attack. The area north of Strong Alley School seems to be mostly safe, albeit accessable only to free runners. The prevalence of these large hordes suggests the possibility of organization in the local zombies.--Fenian 17:03, 8 January 2009 (UTC)
