East Grayside is a suburb of Malton, located in the south of the city. At the time, it was one of, if not the most populated suburbs in Malton. This is one reason why there are so many hospitals and police stations in the area. But this suburb had always been filled with people of the middle-class, and it was very friendly. Crime was extremly low. But because it was so populated, almost everyone in the suburb was killed during the outbreak. Now this suburb is nothing compared to what it was before. Survivors usually just pass by and never stay. It just shows how much damage the outbreak through out Malton.

Revive Points

  • The Wicklen Monument [60, 89] - ex-Nightwatch Run and various unallied parties
  • The Bligh Monument [63, 87]
  • Baynton Street [66, 83] - Special Tactics and Rescue Service Run
  • Prigg Alley [64, 86]

See the listing above; most local groups also support the Sacred Ground Policy.

Update as of 22/01/2009:

Rather Grove has been removed from the list of revive points. STARS abandonded it in favour of taking over SMW's old revive point of Baynton Street after the new STARS HQ Area came into effect. Mallet Street, Pearl Street and Gutch Park have also been removed because they were inactive RPs.

Update as of 1/16/2008:

Wicklen Monument is being patrolled regularly and PKers have not been a recent issue. She's back up and running again!

Update as of 9/18/2007:

Zeds looking for a revive at the Wicklen Monument are advised to be aware of PKers that are trolling that particular area. It is unknown whether or not they are malicious or simply unaware of the Sacred Ground Policy.

Barricade Plan

--Note to Survivors-- East Grayside has been experience a problem with survivors over barricading buildings. This will make it difficult for most survivors to get indoors. Please do not over barricade buildings, and help break barricades down to their proper level.

The Special Tactics and Rescue Service Has finally update their barricade plan from a long time ago. As following with the new school of keeping most buildings @ vsb+2, to find out the current barricade plan, please look to the bootom of the page and click the active link.

The suburb is relatively peaceful, much of the intermittent fighting has ceased due to a ceasefire between rival survivor groups. The SOS Brigade are still present in decreasing numbers within the suburb for the time being, as the terms of their surrender allow for. Break ins are happening at a very minor pace and the suburb is largely empty, but safe in the eastern half.. --Captain Rickety 20:21, 28 January 2009 (UTC)

Today, STARS decommisioned Rather Grove as its Official Revive Point in East Grayside. Other then that, things are continuing to look promising for East Grayside as Buildings are held and power is restored. --The Cop 15:56, 22 January 2009 (UTC)

Northeast corner of suburb has been ruined. Tactical Resource Points ruined and corresponding zombie numbers are the following: 2 zombies stand outside of the Witchell Street Police Department with a horde of 20 more inside. 3 zombies stand outside Adalbert hospital with an additional two inside.--Salamanca 23:22, 7 October 2008 (GMT)

October 3rd

At least 8 zombies seen on the streets. 14 of the 16 Tactical Resource Points are powered. 1 of 4 PDs is not powered. Adalbert General Hospital (East Grayside), on the northern border with Wray Heights, is the only ruined building in the suburb, and believed to be a hangover from the MOB assault on Wray Heights, which has now moved on to Gulsonside. All in all, it's safe. --Funt Solo QT Scotland flag.JPG 17:26, 3 October 2008 (BST)

September 2008

September 16th

The south area looks pretty safe, some small breakins at Sixtus General Hospital, but nothing too serious.

Since some idiots don't seem to get it, here it is again: The Wicken Monument is a revive point! Not a shooting gallery. Seriously, WTF is wrong with you people? There's a group of eleven zeds three fields to the west and you go kill zeds waiting for a revive at a designated REVIVE POINT. This agression will not stand. If you get killed while waiting for a revive, take a screenshot and copy the link for his profile and post it at our talkpage or on our board and we will take care of the rest. SNAKEHOUND - Because WE care. --ScouterTX 22:47, 16 September 2008 (BST)

September 2nd

The Militant Order of Barhah has ruined most of the suburb. All TRP's have fallen. The few remaining buildings that are not ruined appear to have been abandoned. East Grayside is now a zombie suburb, at least until the MOB moves on in search of more food. -- Grogh 04:26, 2 September 2008 (BST)
