Peddlesden Village is a suburb of Malton, located in the northwest of the city. Town life revolves around the Bascombe NT and its Swinnerton Square Police Department traditionally patrolled by the DHPD after it was the first suburb incorporated into the DMZ. The town was also the site of the beginnings of the Extinction zombie group and latterly has fallen under the thrall of The Dead. The suburb is physically divided into two halves, the northern and southern half, by a line of streets and the occasional carpark, and therefore there is a break in the freerunning lane for survivors traveling through.

April 8^th

NecroWatch reported in from the Bascombe Building. The scan revealed 46 zombies in the scanning range of the facility. Of these numbers, 10 zombies were at Edmund General Hospital, 7 zombies were at a factory, 6 zombies were at Swinnerton Square Police Department, 4 zombies were at the Baboneau Arms, and 3 zombies were at Bunter Street Police Department. The remaining zombies, which numbered in the 1's and 2's, were scattered across the area. --Mobius 13:54, 8 April 2009 (BST)

April 4^th

Incoming reports of THE DEAD massing outside this suburb...at least 80 zombies waiting in the shadows...all survivors are requested to stand ground...reports are that more zombies from THE DEAD are on their way, aswell as rogue zombies. Edward Wesker 23:00, 4 April 2009 (BST)

Of these numbers, 4 zombies each were at Edmund General Hospital and a factory, 3 zombies each were at Bunter Street Police Department and the Baboneau Arms. Furthermore, 8 zombies were at the Catherine General Hospital in Dunell Hills.
