Suggestion description
Are you ever in the streets, shooting at zombies with your best friend, only to find you're out of ammo and saying "Hey Karl, daaah, I don't have no bullets left and me knuckles are getting sore from punching, let's run away"?

No, Didn't think so, but all the same, I propose that to add a sense of realism, and inventory control, that we include the stocks of the pistol and the shotgun as weapons.

The Pistol would do the one damage less than the knife (1), and the shotgun would do the same for the fire-axe(2). Hit rates would also be the same as the respective brothers, and they would have their own training (Pistol Melee Training, Shotgun Melee training). Both would fall under the military skills, and both would upgrade as much as fire-axe and knife training.

This would make people who prefer fire-arms switch be able to drop their fire-axes and knives for a while until they wish to switch over to the more hard hitting weapons. This would also allow more inventory space for ammunition because you wouldn't need to carry a melee weapon around

  2. Kill - I like the idea behind this, though it needs some more work. If you were to use ranged weapons in melee, there should be a chance to break those weapons - after all, they weren't made for pistol whipping every zombie you see. As well, the damage in this suggestion is just too high - sure it wouldn't feel good to get a pistol in the head... but getting a fire axed... well, let's just say a couple of Advil wouldn't solve the problem --Ryiis 22:56, 20 August 2007 (BST)
