I came with the idea for this suggestion after I looked at the wiki and noticed that it mentioned zombies are able to USE BLUNT MELEE WEAPONS! Come on, where the heck did you guys get the idea?
Let’s think in a logical way just a for a moment. What do zombies think about constantly? Eating bra!nz, of course! Now, considering this rule, what thing do zombies lack? Intelligence! With these two factors calculated, it is logical to think that zombies can’t flail anything apart of their claws, as they lack the intelligence to even wield it.
Facts that support me are classical zombie arts (Be it movies, novels, you got the idea). I haven’t seen any zombie movie, novel, or game where the zombies could wield and use any kind of weapon. Only exceptions I have found are the House Of The Dead shooting arcades, and, let’s recognize it, those are extremely off-themed, as zombies not only can wield axes, but also motor chainsaws. Axes, I could weakly forgive, but chainsaws are way too complex for zombies to use. Also, there’s the in-game fact that blunt melee weapons are useless for zombies, because even when unskilled, claws and teeth are way better.
Facts against my logic are in-game facts. Zombies can get Memories Of Life skill, with which they can manipulate doors. However, these memories are very limited, so they probably wouldn’t automatically extend to giving the ability to flail pipes, crowbars or bats.
Having said all of this, I would like to propose the removal of the ability to use blunt melee weapons as a zombie, or at least having it modified so that it actually does something you can’t do any other way. As is, this feature is off-themed, silly and useless.

- Spam - Picture a traditional zombie smash. Now picture a pipe into the zombie's hand. Seem out of place? Hell no. Besides, it's not like zombies use them that often because, well, they suck. - Ranta Claus - zombies using blunt weapons is entirely in-genre. Also, things don't have to be excised from the game for not appearing in other zombie media. - Spam - take it to discussion, and get help figuring out a positive change, as opposed to just a blanket removal of something that bugs you. By the way, your suggestion could have been about two lines long, and your suggestion title had me tempted to auto-spam. Try and embrace a "less is more" philosophy. --Funt Solo QT

The zombie players are clever (Electing the most fiendishly clever to lead them is clever), and play their zombies that way. Besides, them using this kind of stuff is completely in genre.
