Basic Info:
  • Office buildings owned by the company often associated with the zombie outbreak. From the outside, they are indistinguishable from other buildings, but characters with the NecroTech Employment skill are able to recognise them.
  • Among the internal descriptions found in NecroTech Buildings:
The NecroTech logo is set in the wall behind the front desk, and doors open onto powered-down computer rooms and laboratories."
  • If a generator is running inside the building:
"The NecroTech logo glows gently above the front desk, and doors open onto a number of brightly-lit laboratories and computer rooms."
  • NecroTech offices are tall enough for survivors to commit suicide from. They also provide a vantage point from which binoculars can be used.
  • Necrotech Buildings can be barricaded normally.

The Herman Building [24,26] is the phone mast of Darvall Heights and also a NecroTech Building; this makes it unique. The only other building of strategic value that has a phone mast, besides a few Hospitals, is the NE corner of Ackland Mall.

The Latrobe Building is a NecroTech building located east of the southeast corner of Caiger Mall. Latrobe is vital to the revival of Caiger's oft-besieged tenants. As such, undead hordes seeking to overrun the mall often target Latrobe first to gain an advantage.

[edit] Internal News

  • 9/10/2007 Attention Latrobe Building Please be advised that the new management has updated the "casual Friday" dress code policy to include bloodstained garments of every cut and hue, and expanded it to include all days of the week. Also, management would like to remind all those in possession of a pulse that their brains will immediately be confiscated by trained security personnel. Finally, we will be closed Friday in honor of Rosh Hashannah. Have a good one! -Brahrahn, HR department.
  • 16/3/2007 Attention to all Survivors trying to retake Caiger Mall 24 Zombies Inside Latrobe Building and 12 outside.

  • 7/1/2007 Attention Latrobe Building Please note that from Feb 6th, all NecroTech offices will be locked via the new security system. If you Haven't been given your Eagle Emblem, Bishop Plug, Azure key and Crank handle from Sharon in reception then from this date onwards you won't be able to get into your Lab. Should you at any time lose any of your keys (all are required in combination) then you will be fined $10 and will have to seek replacements. As usual replacement keys are hidden behind the picture of Caleb Usher in the dining hall (you'll need a cigarette lighter), in the Giant Spider room, and under the pushable statues on the 1st floor.... so Don't lose your keys! Also note that for reasons best left to the management the main entrance to the buildings will now be located under a swimming pool out the back. That is all. -Brian, HR department.
  • 1/1/2007 Attention Latrobe Building Happy new year Latrobians, unfortunately I bring bad tidings. I've been contacted by flowersco, the company that supplied those nice colorful potted plants we use in our offices, and apparently there's been some sort of unfortunate mix up. Please hand them back to Sharon in reception as soon as possible; also on a related topic Rizlas will NO LONGER be sold in the company shop. -Brian, HR department.
