What the hell? Do you guys just jump into a building and shoot anyone with construction skills? *I'M* not the one who brought the building to VHB. At least tell me what/where the supposed infraction took place. The only barricading I have done is to bring buildings up to VSB that were only at "doors secured". Username is American Giver, I've been healing folks and killing zombies nonstop in this area for several weeks. Thanks a lot for the PK. If this is the way you guys operate, you're going to paint a big target on your backs.

Im not a member of Barricade Policy Enforcement but I have been keeping track of Cryptosporidium (id=134215) for a while now because he had been targeting me and my group. He is the worst kind of griefing creep i have ever encountered in this game. I have screenshots of him saying some really nasty things just before PKing people. He is also known for mascarading under other peoples group names. He took our group name the whole time he was targeting us and only just now switched to Barricade Policy Enforcement.

To BPE: you should know that Cryptosporidium is now posing as one of your agents. On the other hand, so many PKers have posed as your agents that that I am beginning to think you guys are just a front for PKing anyway. This bit about "Our tracker and warrant system is an amazingly sophisticated piece of programming" sounds like a joke. I'm very doubtful of how you could ever prove who has raised or lowered barricades. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt for now.

To Neutral Eyes: I would advise against letting our mutual fiend Crypto get under your skin because thats exactly what he gets off on. Based on his (or her) behavior in the past he probably wont even care if you kill him back. He is only interested in pissing people off and making things harder for people in general.

Is GK-ing a strategy of yours? I ask because hoiyes seems to think that it is. What gives? Real member or impersonator? I can't comment on the specifics of this case without checking with Officer hoiyes, but I know from our training that occasionally it is of secruity benefit to "Black" "Out" certain buildings. If we have intelligence that an attack may be imminent, we will take action to reduce the "Target" "Footprint" of a location in the hopes that trouble will pass by, leaving those inside untouched. My character Argmoth [1] was killed by one of your members, Jack Walls, while I was alive and minding my own business in a cinema. Here's a screenshot [2] He claimed that your tracker (whatever that is) has me pegged as a death cultist, which is entirely untrue. Whatever this tracker is, you should double check that it's accurate because it was dead wrong in this case. This character started as a zombie and most of my skills are zombie-related, but I'm dual nature and was doing my best to fight the horde while alive. I don't have the barricading skill, so I obviously didn't overcade, and I did absolutely nothing against any survivor after being combat revived. I used my excess XP to get some survivor skills and went about killing zombies to level more. Needless to say, I'm very upset and I'd like to know how I became a 'known' death cultist in the first place. --Irioth 02:27, 24 April 2008 (BST)

Our tracker and warrant system is an amazingly sophisticated piece of programming and without giving too much away, allows certain "Trusted" "Allies" the ability to share information with our Officers so that safety and proper barricading procedures are followed at all times and any "Undesirable" "Elements" are removed. My character Douglas Michel [3] was murdered without warning by one of your members, or at least someone claiming to be, by the name of Moses Hammer. [4] Since my character is incapable of erecting barricades I certainly don't think that could have done something that justified an attack (I guess I could have been knocking one down, but 1) I wasn't and 2)I'm hardly capable of doing that very well even if I wanted to.) Indeed, since I lack the Free Running skill at the moment, I actually applaud your group. God knows I've suddenly found myself unable to re-enter a building and scrambling to find a new safe place way too many times.

My friend/teammate Sora Fukashigi was murdered earlier today by a character named Nice Guy Eddy. [7] He claims to be a member of your group, and cited "massive violations" against your charter as the reason for the murder. Sora Fukasghigi has never attacked or strengthened any barricades, so this claim was clearly fraudulent. I am curious as to Nice Guy Eddy's actual status in your group, as he is clearly smearing your name with his slanderous killing.

Sora Fukashigi has reported his actions and we intend to kill him on sight. In case he is in fact a member of your group and you feel he is in good standing, we want you to understand that we aren't targeting your group as a whole. The only head we plan on mounting on our wall, is his. Please don't take it personally.

Looking into it, the internal ticket number for the bounty was #429, Eddie should have said this when killing Sora. That ticket was filled by "Cpt Garviel Loken", and was for assisting the dead during a mall siege. It's closed now, so no need to worry about future kills. I'm also not sure how he was able to actually submit a ticket, since he somehow used the DHPD login information, but isn't actually a DHPD member. We'll see what we can do about that in the future.

My character Mason Wells [8] was killed off by Crunchy McNuggets after a night of hiding in a barricaded building. Link to screenshot follows: [9]

Why did he do it? Ask him, he's your problem child. All I know is that when I collapsed for the night I was in what I thought was a reasonably safe building. The next morning I'm the victim of a PK from some vigilante asshat who wouldn't know probable cause from random murder if you were to jam the difference up his ass with a shotgun.

You have enough of a problem enforcing this policy of yours as it is, given that you have little chance of finding out who breached your policy in the first place, and informing people in general about the policy to begin with. Blasting the brains out of the first person with skill in Barricading is a sure fire way to annoy. If you can't keep your members in line maybe it's time to register your Group as a PK organisation and leave nature to take its course.

I think you misunderstand the meaning of the words

Warning! PKer group may be impersonating the BPE

Today while doing my barricade patrols I witnessed a murder --imagine my shock when I clicked on the Pker's profile and he had "Baricade Policy Enforcement" as his tag! Spelling mistake notwithstanding, I believe this is an attempt to tarnish our name. It's a well-known PKer tactic to pick up group names and discard them, cycling through well known and pro-survivor groups to fake legitimacy. I guess we should feel honored he thought us famous enough to impersonate us!

For some reason, we've been seeing a lot of impersonators using the BPE name for PKing jobs. I don't know why... maybe something that happened on the old forums before they went down pissed someone off, but we've got at least three or four guys going around killing people claiming to be BPE. Issues with the warrant tracker

Someone was able to get into the trusted section of the reporting tool and add a bunch of bounties seemingly at random. Like I said before, I don't know if this is someone from the old forums with some kind of grudge against our new group, but I'm going to see if I can secure the system a bit. Warrant Issue

I dunno if this is an impersonator, or a rogue warrant, but we had someone taken down in your name - charged with GK'ing and zed spying. I assure you he is no zombie spy - our group is quite pro-survivor and as one of our more active members he's more than certainly shown his backing of the survivor cause.

The only instances I know of our group taking out generators is when we are actively running restoration ops in ruined suburbs, and only when someone has dropped a generator into our HQ (typically a non-TRP) in order to preserve OPSEC while we are in ruined areas. The user himself has told me he does not recall ever taking out a genny personally.

If this is an erroneous notation in the tracker, please correct it when possible. If there are legitimate concerns about the accused, please let us know and we will take action.

A Question

I would like to confirm if the Barricade Policy Enforcement condones random PKing of anyone who happens to be in an overly barricaded building, or if Fistbump Jackson is an impersonator.

He killed me early this morning, without any provocation, wearing BPE tags. Although I am a mercenary, I do not mess with barricades, nor am I am a death cultist- I am usually pro-survivor, who has done over 30 repairs. So I see no reason for your group to make me an enemy. I do kill people who come up on my missions, but I believe I have not had any altercation with your members or allies... yet.

If Jackson is one of your members, you might want to take a bit more care in who you kill. Not everyone with Construction is your enemy, but random killing goes a long way in buying grudges. And since my policy is that if I'm killed in a suburb, I'll use my zombie AP against that suburb until I get a revive, he's just successfully unleashed another zombie in the assault against Mitchem Mall, which is already breached, and I suppose will fall within the next few hours.--  FOXLION    18:41, 22 December 2012 (UTC)
