CRAP

This is a great idea. Anything focusing on revives is good stuff. An aggressive revival campaign such as this could benefit from employing some CRAP tactics. I believe you are already familiar with what I'm referring to. If you'd like to show your support for a fellow revive movement please throw up this template somewhere on this page.

Oh, C.R.A.P.!

Yet another proud supporter of the Malton Zombie Recycling Program

If you have a Big Prick template I'll add it to the CRAP page as well and help to promote your idea. --Giles Sednik 21:19, 22 April 2008 (BST)

I do have an alt that I could put to use. What suburb, or area of Malton, are you thinking of occupying?--Sapporo 03:24, 2 May 2008 (BST)

TBP is a nomadic event. When we get enough people, we'll just hit where we can have the biggest impact, then keep moving from there. "When" is probably more important, and theat would likely be in a couple weeks. SIM Core Map.png Swiers 03:49, 2 May 2008 (BST)

I've been advertising TBP around various NTs and people are getting excited and joining up, so help spread the word!

  sneil 6 May 2008

Stocking up. And checking out.

So im on my way down to the start line. Are we going for any coordination or are we following the mantra , If its dead, prick. --RosslessnessWant a Location Image? 21:19, 6 May 2008 (BST)

Some of both. The basic idea is just to move together to one area (inititially South Blythville, TBA after that) and flood it with revives as fast as possible. Use whatever revive tools you like to assign priority revives, but do try to revive as many as you can. Obviously team members are a priority, as DIRT:NAP tactics (which likely won't be called for or even helpful in South Blythville) require that you revive at least one team member each time you yourself are revived. The Masscontacts listing on the membership page makes that easy. SIM Core Map.png Swiers 21:46, 6 May 2008 (BST)
There all added. Always help to pay it forward. --RosslessnessWant a Location Image? 19:07, 7 May 2008 (BST)

As of now, there are no zeds at RP's on South B. In fact less then 1o zeds visible in total. The Pippard building has someone standing outside, although he's a living breathing level one survivor.

Perhaps this is not the greatest opening target? --RosslessnessWant a Location Image? 23:29, 8 May 2008 (BST)

Gee Aveneue had 40+ zombies when I picked it. Its a good place to assemble, because it provides easy access to the current "big red" in the south of the city. But yeah, As initial targets go, its a bit of a turkey shoot; that just means we revive EVERYTHING and move out fast. I'll have a new location up to move to before Monday. SIM Core Map.png Swiers 01:18, 9 May 2008 (BST)
Cool. I agree. Its a good forward base, but to launch pricks from not on. --RosslessnessWant a Location Image? 17:26, 9 May 2008 (BST)

the Nich Building seems to be zombie central. 9 standees, ruined. Heres a couple with DNR tags. http://www.urbandead.com/profile.cgi?id=1158980 http://www.urbandead.com/profile.cgi?id=48415 --RosslessnessWant a Location Image? 08:51, 11 May 2008 (BST)

We are moving quickly. Nich building has one rotter left inside, ive pushed on to buttonville. 17 zeds at 44,93--RosslessnessWant a Location Image? 23:04, 11 May 2008 (BST)

Both RP's in buttonville have 7 zeds at. --RosslessnessWant a Location Image? 20:26, 13 May 2008 (BST)
Both RP's are clear. Next target? --RosslessnessWant a Location Image? 20:45, 15 May 2008 (BST)
War is clear as s the indoor RP in the junkyard, mall is back up. New target soon? --RosslessnessWant a Location Image? 17:29, 24 May 2008 (BST)
My old stomping grounds near Craddy NT (west of War Crescent, north of Joachim Mall) could still use a little more help. Plus, I could use a day or two to restock on needles. Asheets 19:22, 27 May 2008 (BST)
Sounds good. A few of us are down at the Malcolm Building and could re-stock and then come up there. SIM Core Map.png Swiers 19:30, 27 May 2008 (BST)

I recommend Houldenbank as our next target. There's an NT there with 21 zeds outside, plus a bunch of ferals in the area. Better search rates than Penny Heights, anyway... Asheets 16:22, 4 June 2008 (BST)

Hey there -

A bunch of us have been hanging out in Houldenbank waiting for instructions. We haven't heard anything for weeks. What's up? -- Ready Freddy/Demonicka 19:44, 16 June 2008 (BST)

Prewtty much looking at either disbanding (not much need any more) or taking over a burb and making it a "revive all comers no matter what" zone. SIM Core Map.png Swiers 20:15, 16 June 2008 (BST)
This has actually been a lot of fun for me, and I'm not looking forward to giving up. Let's head NW to Extinction territory and see what kind of a mess we can make up there. Or we could make a mess of this week' seige of Caiger. Asheets 22:14, 16 June 2008 (BST)
Come over to Beerhah.com [1], there's a big prick area over there. Garum 10:36, 17 June 2008 (BST)
Unless I'm reading it wrong, the traffic there seems to be a bit stale. Asheets 17:27, 17 June 2008 (BST)

Folks, I was just at the Malton Revive Queues map, and it seems that there are long queues in Roftwood and Standbury Village. I propose we all head to 61:51 and start working there. Asheets 17:27, 17 June 2008 (BST)

Hildebrand Mall just fell, so let's go. The rev point at Swansborough Park (68,53) seems like a good place to start. --Sapporo 23:45, 17 June 2008 (BST)
I'm heading West anyway, so I can meet up with you guys in Roftwood/Stanbury Village area. I'll spread the word to other Pricks that I encounter, to check the wiki and coordinate from here or the Beerhah Forums. I am curious to see how we could do against LUE. So, maybe working West, then North from there would be the way to go. Or, we could just jump right in the fire and go to Caiger. --Mrite 13:25, 18 June 2008 (BST)
42 Zs in Roftwood's Swansborough Park (68, 53) waiting revs now. Looks like our dear leaders have abandoned us. --Sapporo 20:29, 19 June 2008 (BST)

Well - I'm good with whatever we decide. Just need a decision. Let's not lose what we've already started. - Ready Freddy/Demonicka 22:32, 19 June 2008 (BST)

I'll second that. I know the survivor/zombie ratio is back to 60:40 again (on good days), and that this was in large part created as a response to The Dead, who aren't really a threat anymore. But the mobile-reviving-horde-going-into-red-zones concept was brilliant...it worked, and what's more, it gave survivors (especially loners) a new gameplay option. It's a style of play I personally like, with its limited metagaming and offensive (instead of defensive) emphasis, and I'd hate to see it die out. I'd say there's a need of it as long as there are red zones and metagame-averse survivors who still want to make a real difference. --Jen 18:05, 20 June 2008 (BST)

Operations at Swansborough Park

I must have been the only person to not realize just how close a mall was! I could have cured my infection days ago :( Anyhow, good job everybody; A few more revives at the park and well be able to expand our operations a bit to the neighboring blocks before moving on. Asheets 18:15, 27 June 2008 (BST)

I don't think we should leave Swansborough until the mall and Herbert NT is unassailable. As for the next targe3t...?--Sapporo 08:03, 28 June 2008 (BST)
We'll stay in the Swansborough vicinity for now. We haven't done such a great job of swarming the suburb, since most of us are still concentrating on the mall revive point. We're getting good press, even though we still accidentally get a GKer here and there. In the meantime, I'll start looking for another target for late July/early August. Asheets 19:03, 30 June 2008 (BST)
Has the search rate for needles gone down recently, or am I just unlucky?--Sapporo 06:02, 1 July 2008 (BST)
No, it pretty much sucks. That, combined with the 7 GK incidents I noted in the last 12 hours, may be enough for us to move on out. Asheets 16:03, 1 July 2008 (BST)

Operations at Swansborough Park, part 2

It has become somewhat apparent to me that we're starting to drift away from our mission a bit (swarming a 'burb with a massive amount of revives in the attempt to bring it back alive) into trying to hold territory (like we seem to be doing with Herbert NT). It isn't bad, but we are starting to needle more GKers and whatnon that I'd like to see. Therefore, we're going to expand our operations a bit to cover the entire suburb -- basically, all three RPs instead of just Swansborough. Watch the header and the banner template for specific locations coming shortly. Asheets 17:31, 1 July 2008 (BST)

Good day, I just saw you folks at the Herbert NT, and I'd like you to thank you all for keeping the suburb alive.
While I won't stop you from moving to the other RPs, according to the latest NecroNet scans it seems that the zombie activity is concentrating in the area around Swansborough Park. I'm not sure what to make of it, but staying around for a bit longer to observe what happens next (will they siege the NT? or are they going for the mall?) while continuing your operations as a group would do a lot of good for the survivor community of Roftwood. --Aeon17x 17:39, 1 July 2008 (BST)

Operations at Swansborough Park, part 3

I am calling for a retreat to the Farmer Building (82,46) at this time. Our operations in Roftwood were initially successful, but garnered the attention of RRF, LUE, The Dead, and a bunch of other big zed groups. We should be proud that we've attracted so much attention, but right now I'm out of needles (and I'm sure the rest of you are low as well).

Let's regroup for a week, restock, and then head back to Swansborough Park and just flood the place. To the residents of Roftwood, I say this -- "WE SHALL RETURN!" Asheets 15:55, 8 July 2008 (BST)

Operations in Pitneybank

I know we were planning to just rest and reload in Pitneybank -- I was told the area was "green". However, it looks like a horde managed to take Ft. Creedy (near our rally point) and are now threatening Giddings Mall. We have an opportunity here to restore safety to a burb before it actually is lost, so we should make the most of it.

Our priorities here are (1) revive at the Creedy cemetery, (2) secure the Farmer Building and Benedict's hospital, and (3) revive the inside of the fort. Because of the design of the fort, I recommend dirt-napping at the cemetery, or else getting inside Farmer for the night. Asheets 22:12, 10 July 2008 (BST)

Operations at Perryn, part 1

Whats up people? Nobody left or what? I would suggest to regroup to an other more healthy suburb and restock...Pitneybank seems lost to me. Naabster

Yea, I've got to agree that we're fighting a losing battle here. I've dropped 50 needles personally and restocked twice since this battle began. The queue just won't go less than 30, and nobody is paying it forward. Sad to say, but I'm thinking Ft. Perryn is next, since I have a spy there that says that the NT and revive point are active, but there is a war going for the fort itself. They are calling for reinforcements there, so I say we should go. Asheets 16:32, 29 July 2008 (BST)

Confirm that! I told everyone i saw to go there and i am on the way down there... An other topic...does anybody know how many Prickers are still active and working? It looks like we have about 5 or 6 people doing revives... am i wrong? Naabster 00:30, 30 July 2008

I know of 6 regulars with their profiles set, and several others who are in my contacts list who are in allied organizations. Asheets 00:23, 30 July 2008 (BST)
I'm still alive. I've been dead at several revive points for a couple weeks now. Just now noticed the move order to....the other side of town. Gonna haul my zombie ass to get there before its wiped out. Currently OUT of stock.--Dzme14 02:38, 31 July 2008 (BST)
Great to hear that you are still out there dzme! I made it (allive!!!) to Malcom building to find it funktioning with about 50 survivers in it. Necronet counts arround 80 Zeds in the area. Naabster

Operations at Perryn, part 2

Stock up, folks. We hit the gatehouse on Monday. Asheets 18:05, 2 August 2008 (BST)

Last time I checked there were only 5 Zs at the gatehouse.--Sapporo 20:36, 3 August 2008 (BST)
Cool, I've actually got a pro-survivor alt nearby who has been stocking on needles. I'll see yah there! SIM Core Map.png Swiers 22:44, 3 August 2008 (BST)

Good job, everybody... the fort is about half repaired now. Asheets 17:13, 5 August 2008 (BST)

Operations at Perryn, part 3

Nothing left but the rotters here. We'll be changing our focus shortly. Stock up and stand by. Asheets 21:53, 11 August 2008 (BST)

Operation Quick Whittenside

Move SW to Colglough NT (85,95). Anne General Hospital can use some quick assistance, and we can give it while I try to find our next big target. Asheets 16:11, 12 August 2008 (BST)

Operation Completed! Move onto Crowbank now. Asheets 16:15, 14 August 2008 (BST)

Operation Crowbank

By general consensus, we are ending our operations at this burb, mainly because of the number of rotters and stupid noobs who kill people at revive points. We are headed for Judgewood. Asheets 17:22, 21 August 2008 (BST)

Thank Zog. Their utter disregard for the barricade plan made moving around a dangerous enterprise. --Merzy 20:47, 21 August 2008 (BST)

Operation Judgewood

I'm just going to warn everyone right off that we're going to have to carry some toolboxes and use a lot of AP to un-ruinate some of these buildings. Asheets 16:12, 22 August 2008 (BST)

Also, be careful on your approach to the NT -- Extinction is operating in the area. Asheets 23:23, 22 August 2008 (BST)

Yes, and we'd be grateful if you'd re-ruin whatever you barricade once you're done with the suburb as Extinction has a Tidy Town Policy in Judgewood. Guests are always welcome of course as a steady trickle of brains helps keep the feral population in town, oh and if you could especially target me for a CR I'd be grateful as they're so hard to come by in the NW. Anyways, I hope your stay is fun and if you could give me a heads up when you're settled into the Ludlow bungalow I'll do my very best to pop down with some friends. Cheerios and have a nice stay! --Zeug 05:56, 23 August 2008 (BST)

Despite sprayings to the contrary I have repaired and caded the Peet NT building. I stayed overnight in the open NT building and surprisingly woke up alive. I also repaired an adjoining factory, should I bother to try and light the NT buildings? Also, Im not so sure the open NT revive point strategy is a good one.--Sapporo 21:19, 28 August 2008 (BST)

My opinion is that you have to do enough to the NT to find needles. Sometimes that means power, and sometimes it doesn't -- depending on search rates and experience in the neighborhood. I have no experience with Peet NT, but Percival NT is usually unpowered and gives a good return on searches when it isn't ruined. In any case, you'll have to burn a bit of AP just to repair the buildings -- they've been ruined for some time. Asheets 00:29, 29 August 2008 (BST)

Everything's looking good. We've got good signs of life At Herne, the north cemetery, and at the Peet NT in the south. If we can get the west cemetery going again, I'm willing to say "mission accomplished". Any ideas for a future target? Asheets 16:16, 4 September 2008 (BST)

Well if I was a Big Prick ... which I'm not of course ... I'd have to have a go at Dunell Hills seeing as you're in the vicinity and The Dead is in decline. Or Eastonwood, those Ferals are awesome fun and will tear you lot a new one real quick. --Zeug 17:48, 4 September 2008 (BST)

Operations at Swansborough Park, part 4

Like I said, we're coming back. There are a few safe buildings, but Herbert NT is down right now. Watch yourselves. Asheets 16:40, 9 September 2008 (BST)

Re: The Big Prick needs light in Dulston

We, the ELT are sorry to have disappointed you. Your message has been forwarded to our customer service department. No really, Dulston feels dark at the moment and almost every building needs power. Be assured, that we will do our best to satisfy your electrical needs, while "our best" currently doesn't mean very much, as I am one of three remaining active members at the moment, and I am dead. Anyway: I'll be there as soon as I'm up. By the way, your group sounds like fun to me. But may we tell you, who NOT to revive? Probably not, as that's part of the policy, right? But it's that simple: Revive a GKer and the lights will drop off. And we know you don't like that. -- [ ρsych°Lychεε ] T 09:26, 24 September 2008 (BST)

I'm at Dowdney Mall reloading. Asheets 15:38, 2 October 2008 (BST)

I have just returned from reloading at Dowdney Mall, and see that limited progress has been made (despite various radio and wiki reports indicating overwhelming success). Any feelings on retreating and reloading, or should we keep going for awhile longer? Asheets 19:04, 7 October 2008 (BST)

A couple of folks have requested time to reload. Fall back to the Dowdney Mall area -- specifically, Dewes NT at 74, 28. Asheets 00:20, 8 October 2008 (BST)

Can someone revive me? I am direktly NW away from Dewes NT. thanks Naabster - save and sound again

You guys coming back to Dulston? If so, visit the DA forums and maybeh we can all put up an organized counter strick. If not, then balls. Met fan 01:42, 9 October 2008 (BST)

We'll eventually revisit Dulston, but for now we have to reload. Asheets 16:10, 9 October 2008 (BST)

Our Next Operation?

Anybody have any ideas? We need someplace that's moderate. Asheets 17:30, 14 October 2008 (BST)

How about somewhere in the NW again? We did such a good job in Judgewood that the place is practically green. Asheets 16:34, 15 October 2008 (BST)

Operation Penny Heights 2

...will begin on 23 Oct. Meet at Churchous Avenue, after the invading zed wave clears a bit. Prickers are free to do whatever until the rendezvous date. Asheets 23:44, 16 October 2008 (BST)

...i am at Goldnay Motel in Osmondville right now. (88,74) I revived Baron von Spicedrop at churchous Avenue and took a look at the NT building next to it. It is currently ruined and filled with 8 Zeds. I would suggest a combiened revive action on 23 Oct. I have a toolbox with me so after everything is cleared i rebuild the NT to give us a base of operation. Anybody here with shotguns or pistols to get rid of the rotters? I am totaly stocked up right now so i cant pick that stuff up at the moment...Naabster

...will be there tomorrow. Currently undead and without any firearms(only axe+toolbox+syringes). Is there any nearby NT that doesn't involve taking out multiple zeds? --Tekgo 16:14, 20 October 2008 (BST)
...Are you gonna be at Goldney Motel or at the revive point in Penny heights? There are not too many NT buildings in PH so i guess that the situation will be the same pretty much everywhere... I dunno, we can take out problably 6 or 7 Zeds just by sticking a needle into there head. One or two rotter shoudn't be a prob. Naabster

Hey everyone! So how is everyone doing? I have the feeling, that we are getting ours asses kicked...what are we going to do about it? Naabster

Actually, were doing pretty well. Lumber Mall is open for business again. I'm at their junkyard indoor RP now. Asheets 22:15, 27 October 2008 (UTC)

There is a cemetery 3W of the Craddy building that has about 20 Zs. I scanned about 10 and there were a lot of Z-skill heavy zombies. Still, if Churcheous is clear I suggest heading to the cemetery.--Sapporo 18:17, 27 October 2008 (UTC)

PH is great because there are so many revive points. On the Joachim side, besides Craddy, there's a couple of cemeteries and misc. RPs to the west of the mall. How is Joachim right now? I haven't been there to look... Asheets 22:15, 27 October 2008 (UTC)

I just came from Joachim. Its overun by a zeds. Not too many of them but enough to overtake it. I am dead again and standing around Chourchous Ave. and waiting for a revive.Naabster I am almost out of needles...what about the rest? does anybody know about a funktioning NT building where i can restock? The Baron VonSpicedrop proposed we revive at Leeworthy park since the Junkyard is the only stable safehouse near the NT. Bane Croooow

I think he is right with that. we should also clear the NT building to be able to restock. Naabster
Go for it. I just checked the NT building and found 6 Zs inside, but couldn't tell if they were rotters or not. I'm going to head east to restock, and should be back shortly. Asheets 17:15, 1 December 2008 (UTC)
I was watching the vote count and hoping for Gulson but there you go. Extinction is aware of your presence in Dakers and is pleased to inform that we are already eating your brains in Tolley and the Junkyard next door. You do know you're the fourth Beerhah group to hit DK since September? We like our ruins ... ruined! Please don't mess with the Feng Shui too much or I'll have to set the main Horde onto you lot. OK, gang... how goes it. Are we making any headway or should we retreat out of Extinction's way? Asheets 16:35, 5 December 2008 (UTC)

I don't think we're ready to leave, yet, but if you're like me the supplies are running low. I want to graffiti bomb this place: change Leeward Park to an RP, save the NT and kick extinction in the groin. Baron VonSpicedrop
I'd like to continue taking on Extinction, but I think it's time to restock, regroup and set a new target. --Jimflexx 07:19, 9 December 2008 (UTC)

I managed to get the Pilling NT (8,10) open and caded to VHB, so come get some needles and keep the cades up.--Sapporo 18:03, 8 December 2008 (UTC)

Already ruined.--Sapporo 20:00, 9 December 2008 (UTC)

I'm currently at Rayfield NT in Tollyton (66,67). A bit out of the way, but I'm getting needles every 7-8 AP. Not bad. I'll be back up to the NW as soon as I'm reloaded. Asheets 20:45, 10 December 2008 (UTC)

Let's get the location changed on our front page to Leeworthy Park (I don't know the coordinates). Baron VonSpicedrop
I will do so today. Asheets 16:34, 15 December 2008 (UTC)

I have found a lit hospital and NT in West Becktown at [14:39]. I will be supplying here for a few days. I grabbed a ton of spray cans so we can respray the Dakerstown region. Baron VonSpicedrop

Personal

Hey folks!

I sorry to announce it here, but due to personal time management i can't keep on playing Urban Dead... Its been a great time here and it was fun to stick all the zeds! :-) I'll stay around for the next couple of days but then i am going to delete my account.

My best to all of you! Naabster

Sorry to see you go, but I understand the pressures of RL. Thanks for your efforts, and I hope we'll see you again someday! --Jimflexx 07:22, 9 December 2008 (UTC) It was good working with you, Naabster. Baron VonSpicedrop

Advertising and Recruiting

Can somebody throw together an ad (or use the old one, which I can't find) and put it up on the recruiting page? Thanks. Asheets 22:50, 11 December 2008 (UTC)

I can probably do this thing. Give me some specifics about what you want and I'll have some time after next week. Also, let's get some graffiti standards for regions we are working in. Ideas everyone? Baron VonSpicedrop
This is something I'm normally not good at. Definitely the needle graphic, our title, and a short blurb on what we do. It doesn't need to be too fancy. Asheets 16:35, 15 December 2008 (UTC)
That's a good start. What size in pixels? Or link to an already existing one that is the size you want. Baron VonSpicedrop
I don't know... there are rules on the recruiting page regarding ad size and content... Asheets 21:10, 15 December 2008 (UTC)
What is the link to the recruiting page? Baron VonSpicedrop
There's Suburb Recruitment and Recruitment, you need to make a The Big Prick/Recruit page then add that template to those pages... then keep them updated all the time. Tedious! --Zeug 03:47, 16 December 2008 (UTC)
Tedious is right. What's the point. I've been playing for years and i've never heard of those pages or most of the groups on them. Baron VonSpicedrop
Yeh dunno really, better than a kick in the groin tho ... mebbe ... or not. BRING IT ON SPICEY!! --Zeug 07:55, 17 December 2008 (UTC)
I don't know... the recruiting page is how I first heard about TBP myself... Asheets 16:19, 17 December 2008 (UTC)
recruitment pic Thoughts? Baron VonSpicedrop
Looks good Asheets 18:25, 29 December 2008 (UTC)

Forum Access?

Hi, I posted on your Forum Access thread as Idly Hummingbird at Beerhah.com a few days ago, but I haven't gotten any response yet. Can I get forum access please? Thanks. --Idly Hummingbird 20:26, 28 December 2008 (UTC)

Sorry, I don't have forum access either. I generally just use the wiki. You might want to ping user:Swiers. Asheets 18:24, 29 December 2008 (UTC)

Time to move on?

It has been 6 weeks now in Dakerstown. Any thoughts into moving on? Asheets 18:26, 29 December 2008 (UTC)

agreed.Baron VonSpicedrop
Yay!! * ahem * So how'd it go? I'm in Yagoton at the mo with a bunch of Extinction zeds, maybe we'll see u lot at Caiger? --Zeug 06:03, 30 December 2008 (UTC)
OK, then. I'll find a rally point and announce it shortly. Asheets 19:30, 30 December 2008 (UTC)
Darvell Heights, cemetary south of Herman NT (24,26) Asheets 19:33, 30 December 2008 (UTC)
Awes, u r on! Apparently Latrobe is under siege and there's a heap of zombies gathering round the Mall. --Zeug 12:56, 31 December 2008 (UTC)
This is still around?--Karekmaps?! 13:33, 31 December 2008 (UTC)

You might want to update our location on the page. --Idly Hummingbird 22:22, 31 December 2008 (UTC)

Update is done. Asheets 15:57, 1 January 2009 (UTC)

Next Destination: Shuttlebank

Baron von Spicedrop recommends that we head for Shuttlebank, as Caiger is about to fall. Everybody head to Marfell NT at 33,15. The area is lit and manned, but there are eligible Z's in the area, and we can expand a bit. Asheets 16:18, 7 January 2009 (UTC)

Anyone wanting to suicide revive, return to Look Road as a zombie and I'll revive you. But I'll be away from 1/17 to 1/25, so someone else needs to take over that week. --Jimflexx 20:02, 9 January 2009 (UTC)

Not a problem -- I'll take over that week Asheets 15:08, 12 January 2009 (UTC)

Notes on Caiger

Caiger has fallen, and there is a long line of recently deceased waiting just to the SE. There are some rotters in the line so...shotguns! Despite the fact I will soon be dead, this looks too easy. --Sapporo 06:20, 12 January 2009 (UTC)

Caiger is back up, but they're really not watchign themselves. One zed and a rotter inside. I revved the regular zed, but don't have enough AP to kill the rotter. Anyway, sounds like we're retrying it.--Broklynite 15:28, 20 January 2009 (UTC)

I fixed cades and revived one Z inside the EP. Try to convince people to spread out a little bit, and to retake the NT. If we get the NT, we can move our base there. Asheets 16:22, 20 January 2009 (UTC)

Awsome. Well, I got killed and am at the cemetary under the Herman building. Looks like the battle continues! Are we going to use Herman as a temp base since its an NT, or is it too obvious a base?--Broklynite 14:35, 21 January 2009 (UTC)

I went back to look road, since Herman and Salopia aren't operational yet. I'll come and get you as soon as I'm revived. Asheets 16:29, 21 January 2009 (UTC)
Ah, I'm back up but thanks anyway. Herman is up, but unpowered (had a plant destroy the gen) but now there are two rotters outside so am relocating temp. to The Farris Building (4 NW of Herman). It's VSB right now.--Broklynite 14:18, 23 January 2009 (UTC)

Looks like Caiger is reoccupied and partially lit again. Asheets 16:16, 26 January 2009 (UTC)

Latrobe NT is up and running with loads of people inside.--Broklynite 21:44, 28 January 2009 (UTC)
Excellent. I'll change the banner to reflect our new operating location. Asheets 21:05, 29 January 2009 (UTC)

Regional rotter list

I keep rotters in my contact list whenever I scan one. It saves a scan, or even more, the next time you run into them and you can just move on straight away since there is no revving that one anyway. Wouldn't it be interesting to list the rotters we encounter in a certain area, so that we can share those profiles, and save ourselves some scanning AP? --Funkster 19:20, 4 February 2009 (UTC)

That's not a bad idea. Oh and Baron- you ran out just when I was trying to heal ya- next time ask and gimme a sec ;)--Broklynite 16:20, 5 February 2009 (UTC)
I guess we should set up a user page for BP with this rotter list. We can start adding id's to it as soon as we arrive somewhere new, and clear out the old lists as this happens. A non rotter list (potential revives) wouldn't be bad either I guess. So you can pick a revive target without even having to bother with scanning the pack. --Funkster 00:51, 7 February 2009 (UTC)

After Caiger

OK, folks... start stocking up, as we're going to move out soon. I'm taking nominations for our next locale. Baron has recommended somewhere in mid-Malton. I personally like the idea of staying one or two steps behind Mall Tour '09 (cleaning up the mess as we go). Any other ideas? Asheets 16:15, 6 February 2009 (UTC)

Dunno, but I agree- all we're doing is battling rotters and not doing what Pricks do best- reviving on a mass scale. Time to move on, somewhere where there are lots of zeds to rev and fun to be had. Looking at the map, SE Malton looks pretty heavy. How about Shore Hills? Close enough to travel to without too much time wasted. Enough zeds to make life interesting, but also areas nearby to retreat to. And has a few NT's. Poulter Building has a hospital nearby which would make life easier, and a cemetery nearby that as well. --Broklynite 17:12, 6 February 2009 (UTC)

Don't everyone all talk up at once, now.--Broklynite 15:37, 9 February 2009 (UTC)

I think we should get ready to retake Caiger. It seems likely that the mall tour will come to Caiger Mall soon and so if we don't want all our good work in the area to be undone. I think we should stock up on supplies are prepare to retake Caiger, however there is a chance the mall tour will ignore Caiger for now so we should locate somewhere where we can quickly move to retake caiger or Ackland Mall. Maybe an NT building in Richmond Hills would be a good place. --Fernley 15:52, 9 February 2009

There's been a lot of chatter about reviving rotters. Let's go visit a Rotter Revive Point! Moseley Buildingis the closest. --Baron VonSpicedrop

I'll consider this for a future target. Asheets 21:01, 9 February 2009 (UTC)

Next Up, Shore Hills

Here's the compromise solution. We go to Shore Hills, fix that place up for awhile, then swing back by Caiger after MT09 visits. I'll post the exact coordinates shortly. Asheets 16:37, 9 February 2009 (UTC)

Shore Hills welcomes you, just a heads up but most of the activity is around the embattled Brennand Building. As one of the primary NTs supporting Ackland it is actively targeted and held by rotters. --Gorgon 12:36, 11 February 2009 (UTC)

Didn't take long- most of those at Randle are rotters- be careful.--Broklynite 13:48, 12 February 2009 (UTC)

O...kay. Well. Looks like that didn't work too well. Anyone still alive?--Broklynite 19:21, 13 February 2009 (UTC)

I managed to revive 4 BP'ers and retreat to a EHB warehouse at 40,53. With all these zeds around, I don't know how long it will hold. Revive as many locals as possible (11 at RP currently) and make the best of a bad situation. --Jimflexx 23:30, 13 February 2009 (UTC)

I'm trying to rev people but it tells me everyone's already been scanned and keeps just showing me some rotter. If someone moves and goes back, will that work? I've got the syringes. Or we can temp. move to a different site to rev one another. Seems like pretty much everyone here is a rotter- this is bad.--Broklynite 18:19, 14 February 2009 (UTC)

move a couple east into the next burb -- plenty of non-rotters there. I'm dead and waiting at randal right now, but I've got my share of good pricks in. Asheets 03:26, 15 February 2009 (UTC)

Moved east as well, searching for a genny and some fuel to get the NT building up and running again. No luck on the genny so far. Hopefully tomorrow. --Funkster 19:22, 15 February 2009 (UTC)

The Shambling Seagulls are moving off from Shore Hills now, but we'd like to thank you Prickers for being yummo. We're rejoining Mall Tour 09 up at Darvall Heights now, so give it a miss for a couple of weeks, know what I mean? Best wishes! Soddball 16:00, 16 February 2009 (GMT)

Forum

I'd like to clarify an issue that's been muddy for some time. Potential allies and new members have asked about our forum.

If the group wants a forum, I'll be glad to set one up. If we want to continue as is, I'm fine with that too. I just thought it could use some discussion and clarification so we finally have a clear policy stated somewhere regarding this issue. --Jimflexx 23:54, 13 February 2009 (UTC)

Swiers had originally set up a forum for us, but I never was able to get into it. If you want to set us up with a new forum, go for it. Just post detailed instructions on how to get in. Asheets 03:28, 15 February 2009 (UTC)

The forum is set up and ready to go. The link is: http://www.jimsgames.com/bigprick/index.php

Guests are allowed to read the public boards. To post on the boards, users need to register by clicking the link marked "register" on the top of the page under the logo. Users should use the same user name as they use in UD. After registering, users can post in the public section.

New or veteran Pricks can post a message requesting upgrade to the membership section. The procedure for doing this is detailed on the board.

Diplomats from other groups can also request an upgrade by posting in the Embassy section.

The software is easy to use, and should present few problems. If any problems come up, I'll be available to help. --Jimflexx 10:53, 15 February 2009 (UTC)

Most of the active Pricks are on the forum, and discussions of strategy and tactics have moved to there. --Jimflexx 21:07, 27 February 2009 (UTC)

I'll be frank with you. I am not ever going to use the forum. I just want a location and team mates to work with. I'm not interested in the chit chat.--Baron VonSpicedrop
